The older I get, I realize it's best to let someone go, because loving is hard, just the way I forgot about Miguel, my first crush. I'd certainly forget about Gary, my husband.

When he had seen the burnt on my skin, the anger and grief in his eyes felt as though he'd murdered Gary.
However, I tried hard to bury that old feeling because I don't trust men anymore.
"That fool doesn't deserve you" he mutters, and I rolled my eyes, not quite interested in what he was saying.
"Hey, do you want me to kill him for you?" he added, and I only chuckled, but his gaze was serious on me.
"I'm waiting for your response... Lindsey, anything you want me to do, I'd do it."
Shit! He knows my name. Miguel was always someone who was hard to see in person and barely noticed me back then.
I was lost in his gaze and I can't really recall what happened last night except the memory of us kissing.
