Leaving the Golden Cage
My husband showed up at the Spring Festival family dinner with his white moonlight (a term often used to refer to a first love or an idealized person). I didn't make a fuss. I smiled and finished the meal. When we got home, I immediately threw the divorce agreement in front of him. Without a hint of hesitation, he signed it. He said harshly, "I'll be better off without you." I smiled. I want to see how a man who relies on me for everything, even for spending money, thinks he can do better without me.
