Samar Kapadia
The day was dawning, Samar made his way to New York International Airport. It had been raining steadily since morning, there was alert at the airport but it wasn't anything new as Samar was used to such situations shuffling between USA and India due to Business.
Moving towards the immigration counter, he was wondering about the event he was going to attend. Suddenly, a girl bumped into him and for a moment he was taken aback but soon came to his senses. He looked at the girl talk and attractive but not beautiful as Soha. She wore cream top and blue Jean's, her hair just like Soha. She had the boarding pass of the same flight as him.
"Sorry...I was in a hurry and unintentionally dashed." The girl chirped.
Samar excused and picked his backpack, moved towards business lounge. He was sitting in the lounge waiting for the flight boarding announcement, closing his eye and remembering the memories of Soha.
"Sir, your flight is boarding, have a nice journey. "the attendant at the lounge said softly.
Samar smiled, picked his backpack and proceeded towards the gate. Boarding the flight, he settled himself on the seat.
After the flight was in the air, Samar absentmindedly opened his tab and started reading his accounting documents but closed it due to lack of concentration.
He sighed....then scrolled the screen for a movie list to kill the time, clicked on an English movie. After a few minutes of watching he felt it uninteresting, so he turned it off.
Tried for a Hindi movie, selected and it started playing. The movie was going on but Samar had Soha in his mind. All he felt was Soha in the movie, the cute, shy, beautiful girl he loved. Her smile was like melting millions of hearts.
"Will I be able to see her? Hope she read the Invitation Email and come for the meet." Sighing he thought.
Soha Goplani /Kothari
Soha was walking on a street, there were many people around, all were her known people yet she was lonely and was searching for somebody. She was worried, her eyebrows knitted and sweaty forehead. She looks everywhere, turns around and saw a silhouette of a man with his back towards her, she walks towards him thinking that he is the one whom she is searching for, but he moves forward, she wants to call him, stop him, as she tries to find her voice, no sound comes out her throat and the silhouette fades away. She squatted and weeps.
Beep...beep....beep.... the alarm buzzed.....
Soha switched off the alarm and feels the tears flowing her eyes. The same dream, she was dreaming since few days.
She gets up from the bed and makes her way to the bathroom. After washing she heads to her morning routine and then towards office.
Armaan Kothari
Armaan is Soha's husband, a hypocrite, a typical abusive husband who never cared or loved his wife or had any proper conversation. He wakes up after Soha goes to kitchen to prepare breakfast. Washes himself and gets ready for his office.
"Soha....what's this, the omelette is again salty. Where is your mind? Didn't you sleep properly?"
"S...ss.. sorry... I had other things also to do and maybe by mistake..."Soha explained.
After that he walked out with his laptop bag.

Elodie took a deep breath and knocked, the sound echoing in the quiet corridor. A moment of silence passed, broken only by the pounding of her heart. Finally, the door snicked open, revealing a surprised Dashiell. 'Can't you see the Do Not Disturb sign? We don't want-' His initial frown quickly morphed into confusion at the sight of his wife. 'What are you doing here?' he demanded. 'Your girlfriend invited me,' Elodie replied, her voice laced with icy calm. She tried to peer past him, but his broad frame blocked the view. A saccharine voice chimed in from within the room. 'Elodie? Oh dear, we didn't mean for you to find out this way. It's just that-' Elodie cut her short. 'Oh please, Selene. Spare me the fake apologies. You wouldn't have sent me all those texts if you didn't want me to know.' Dashiell shifted uncomfortably, his face a mask of annoyance. 'What texts?' Elodie stepped past him, taking in the luxurious suite with a sardonic smile. The king-sized bed, the scattered rose petals, the lingering scent of sex – it all painted a vivid picture of their betrayal. She looked up at Dashiell, her gaze unwavering.
