Chapter 1 Hunger
"Mum, I am hungry." The little girl looking at her mother says as she lay on top of the bed looking at her mother who was holding a smartphone.

"We will get something to eat in a few moments, relax." Nancy told her daughter.
"When is that? You have been telling me that since morning." Lydia, the little girl told her mother while keenly looking at her.
Nancy did not respond but concentrated on whatever she was doing on her smartphone. She would occasionally smile before going on with whatever she was doing.
"Darling, we will eat nice food today, we will eat chicken and chips, now, come on, I want you to take me a photo. Hurry up." Nancy told the little girl.
At the mention of Chicken and chips, the little girl quickly stood up.
