**NORA**
My name is Lenora Ryne, number one female best pop star. I'm 23 and the most beautiful woman on the planet, ever since three years. I'm the only child to my parents. My dad is of late and my mom, Christina Ryne is a super busy business tycoon. She travels regularly but she always has time to come back home.
I've got everything you will ever need;- money, wealth, a loving mom, maids that do everything I order, bodyguards to risk their low lives for mine, fame, popularity, a perfect voice, great talent, name it... I am what you wish to be, a household name.
I also have the most adorable thing any lady will kill to have, Ryan. He's my super cute boyfriend who's been ranked too as world's most handsome. He's a pop star too and has a very huge fan base compared to mine. He's world's most followed on IG, Twitter and Facebook. Despite him being very calm and and keeping a hyper private life, everyone still tries digging into his personal life....
Although, Ryan's anti social lifestyle really pisses me off but whenever I am with my boyfriend, I tend to forget that he is anti social. I love him in his flawed life and I on the contrary find his anti social life quite attractive...
Here I am, sitting before my wonderful mirror with glittering bulbs round its corners. My make-up, hairs and nails were been done by various people who are professionals in the different fields. So I just sat on my pink director's chair as a statue and faced my mirror in all smiles.
"You will be on set in five." My manager said and walked closer to me. The look I saw on his face as he gazed through the mirror, already hinted me on what he was about to say.
"You look beautiful, Nora." He said, just as I had anticipated. I smiled as my usual response.
"Where is the dress you will be putting on?" He asked me. It's ironic sitting here getting all made up for a fashion commercial and I am asked on what to wear. As funny as it may sound, the dumb words which sounded as pure gibberish in my ears, got me upset already. The anger which was a normal thing as he shifted backwards.
"Didn't they send the dress already?" I asked and everyone there shook their heads in disapproval.
"Very well then." I concluded making fast but swift steps to the dress stand there where my beautiful dress was. It was my simple partially flared gown that went about 5inches below my hip level. It is a handless black gown.
"You can't leave when you have to stream a live commercial." My manager said reaching out to stop me and I turned to face the old man.
"I won't do it. The dress meant for the commercial is late. It is not even around." I scoffed loudly, taking of my white long jacket exposing my smooth perfect slim body. If there be a different word for perfect then it would be great cause I was more than perfect for myself. Funny enough, my perfect me is just natural. I fit perfectly in dresses as my hips somehow come out. That is why I always did my fashion shoots for High School Magazine and Perfect Skin.
"Please don't do this." My manager pleaded but it all fell on deaf ears. I just rolled my eyes and zipped my dress.
"I already did." I answered him, picked my phone's and walked out of the building. I cared less of the shoot and the implications of what I just did. I also cared less of my manager. He's just a manager, nothing more. I walked out of the building to where my Lexus, LC 500, was parked.
"Miss Nora! Miss Nora please." A voice called my name and I turned.
"The outfit for the shoot was brought."
"They are pleading you come back. It had a slight delay." He added. I turned back to my car and entered inside. I signaled my driver to come so I could pass across an information.
"Tell them to put the shoot for tomorrow." I ordered icily and whined back my window. He did as I instructed and got into the driver's seat. He drove off as soon as he entered.
"Take me to my Penthouse." I ordered. I am so stressed so I took a sip from my wine glass.
I am Lenora Ryne, popularly known as Nora. I'm a star, a celebrity, an idol. I have rules which are meant to be followed. I don't follow rules, I make them, I am the rule-.
//ASHLEY//
"...Ok ma'am." I replied and closed the door behind me. I looked at the time and sighed. It was 7:30pm. I still had to go to MALA'S PLAZZO for my one hour shift.
"Hey Debbie!" They greeted as I walked my way across the street for work. I waved back at them in smiles. They are my very good friends though they are gangsters.
"And it's Ashley!!" I corrected them. They are fun of changing people's names, giving them the names of their choice. I wasn't an exception and my case was worst.
"Whatever, Debbash!!" They fired back in a mock. I scoffed and walked away from those annoying humans.
Sometimes I just wish to be different... Maybe, a little bit just like them-- great musicians, stars and take myself out from this life of misery and poverty. I am Thai as my mom, I've never met my dad before, I don't even know him. Mom keeps telling me that we moved to America because of my dad who was a coward. He abandoned her whilst she was pregnant with me. She drinks alot and when she does get drunk, she pours her grief on me, blaming me for my dad's disappearance.
"I hate you. You are the reason why my husband left me." She would say. It used to hurt me at first but now, I am somehow used to it.
(Sighting a place with big light letters *MALA'S PLAZZO*, she heaves in relief) thank goodness I just entered MALA'S PLAZZO, I thought it will take forever.
"You are late." A voice resounded behind me as I walked in through the back door. I was startled but not for long.
"Clara!!" I groaned her name and turned to see her. What was I expecting from that quite tiny voice.
"What were you doing? Mala is so going to be angry with you." She stressed and I just nodded my head.
"Not to worry, C." I tried to calm her as I was changing into my uniform. A pink shirt on a black skirt. I know Clara already signed my name so I'm ok.
"She won't find out." I said after dressing up and standing erect on my feet to look at her angry face. I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall while Clara is 5 feet 2 inches. I am taller than her and I love it, cuz she is my elder and I love teasing her about the height.
Clara is a fellow worker and the only friend I have here. Though she's 3 years older than me, she acts like she's my age mate. I tied my apron and dashed out, not forgetting to peck her on the jaw even though she wiped it in disgust. I chuckled at her facial expressions and she smiled a little.
I was assigned to table 49 to take an order. I walked to the table and saw a man sitting with his left leg folded on the right. His head was buried on the magazine in his hands and I smiled. My celebrity crush, Ryan was on the cover. He is so cute. I'm so much of a fan girl that I know everything about him, from his physical looks to his favourites. I even dream about us kissing each other...
But imagine, I and sir Ryan kissing each other. That's more like a mission impossible. Ryan is a celebrity and I'm just a pauper. Our chances of meeting are hyper slim, talkless of kissing him or even being in a relationship with him. Well I know he's in a relationship with Nora, though I'm pained but as long as it's our heartthrob, Nora, then I'm ok. I know she will make a good wife for him. Back to the Mr whose head was buried in the magazine.
"Sir! Sir! Your order." I asked and he raised his head up. I saw his face and I think I've got a second crush... He's so cute. He's got the killer looks that could get any lady drooling. His blonde hair fell down his face and he brushed it slightly off. His eyes kind of reminds me of my celebrity crush, Ryan.
"Yes miss!" His angelic voice interrupted my thoughts.
"S... Sir I am here for your order." I stammered and he smiled. Lord I feel as to faint. He picked up the menu and dropped it back after seeing through it.
"Mashed potatoes and beans, please." He said and I nodded. I bowed slightly and left for the kitchen. As soon as I entered the kitchen, Clara rushed towards me. I'm pretty sure she's drooling over my boyfriend. ...
I know, I know. He's not my boyfriend.
"What's his order?" She asked and I eyed her.
"Tell me please." She gave me those her puppy eyes and I quickly turned away.
"Jeez C, you are getting married very soon." I scolded her and she scoffed.
"That man over there is worth annulling an engagement for." She replied.
"Mashed potatoes and beans." I told her and she smiled. She started adjusting her dress.
"What are you doing?" I asked her.
"What does it look like?" She asked back and I arched a brow in confusion.
"I am going there to deliver his order and start a conversation with him." She answered and I sighed.
"O--k! What if the boss finds out?" I asked Clara who opened her mouth to talk but she couldn't because someone interrupted us.
"Does this place look like a gisting house for you guys?" Mia interrupted us and we just rolled away our eyes and ignored her. Mia is also our colleague of same age group as Clara but she's too bossy.
Elodie took a deep breath and knocked, the sound echoing in the quiet corridor. A moment of silence passed, broken only by the pounding of her heart. Finally, the door snicked open, revealing a surprised Dashiell. 'Can't you see the Do Not Disturb sign? We don't want-' His initial frown quickly morphed into confusion at the sight of his wife. 'What are you doing here?' he demanded. 'Your girlfriend invited me,' Elodie replied, her voice laced with icy calm. She tried to peer past him, but his broad frame blocked the view. A saccharine voice chimed in from within the room. 'Elodie? Oh dear, we didn't mean for you to find out this way. It's just that-' Elodie cut her short. 'Oh please, Selene.
