She was so exhausted from running that she couldn't help but stop at the cliff's edge to catch her breath. The only place she could think of to flee after being pursued for three days with nowhere to go was here. In her hour of need, she had summoned that man, the man she had been engaged to since she was a child, the man she had given her heart to, to come and rescue her from this nightmare. She would not have dared to tell him about her whereabouts if she had known she had been duped by this man and his so-called family. Because of her stupid mistake, she watched nervously and fearfully as he approached her with a snarl on his face. She never imagined a day like this would come. She had nowhere else to run, she had exhausted all options, and the only thing that awaited her was death. "You should be aware that your presence is a hindrance to everything for which I have tirelessly worked. So, dear, I am deeply sorry that this is the end," the man said coldly as he pulled the trigger. The only sound was that of the gunshot that pierced right through the girl's chest. The shot had such an impact that the young girl staggered and fell right off the cliff. Her face was plastered with a smile, blood trickled down her lips, and her chest was oozing with blood. This was the end, and she was aware of it. She should have suspected it from the start because, despite the fact that she was spoiled, they never spent time with her. She endured every time they drew blood from her because she wanted to make her family happy. Even when she couldn't recall her childhood, she never asked for anything but hoped for a better future. If she had suspected and demanded answers, this would have been a painless death. This death proved the one thing she had been refusing to admit since the day she discovered the dark secret her family had been keeping for more than a decade. She was simply their child's clone, and it hurt like hell.
PROLOGUE
THREE YEARS LATER
The room was a little dark, and the only source of light in the room was the light emitted by the moon. If one looked at the time, it was around two a.m., and yet two bodies were intertwined with no space between them on that massive platform.
The female's moans and cries were so seductive that one would think a succubus had visited the man of the house at night. The man was so taken with the woman beneath him that he went out of his way to work extra hard so that he could hear more of her cries and lick her tears.
How did it get to this point? The young woman questioned herself as she acted like a starved nymph and a raging animal. It wasn't that she disliked what was going on; she actually enjoyed it and wanted more, but she never imagined that her first time would be taken by her boss while he was high and not sober.
What if, when he wakes up the next day, he tells her to pack her belongings and leave? She had nowhere to go, she had worked hard just to get this job, and now it was all going to be over because some lunatic gave her boss some aphrodisiac while he was out?
But remembering how energetic this man was in bed made her forgive him for everything. What if he imposed himself on her? This man had made her experience the ecstasy of intimacy. He was a great lover, and her face flushed red just thinking about how many times he had made her orgasm in the four hours they had begun copulating. The man would be surprised if he saw her flushed face.
Vanity, who had been through so much, decided to just ride the wave and enjoy the moment while it lasted. Being taken by such a beast will undoubtedly cause her to raise her standards if she ever considers being with another man again.
With such a free meal from the sky, she might as well throw her job out the window. She'd saved so much money in the previous three months.
Chandler felt relieved as he noticed the changes on this succubus's face. She was easy to read, but he knew she was hiding a lot of secrets. Who, on the other hand, didn't have any?
He decided to show no mercy because she was willing to keep the show going. He was certain that whoever had the audacity to give him such a powerful drug would be rewarded handsomely.
He watched as Vanity wrapped her long legs around his waist and, taking that as another invitation, pounced on her like a madman. For someone who had complete control over himself to lose control like this, he couldn't blame the dug alone, but also this girl beneath him.
Everything about her body screamed to be taken, and the bites he could see even in the dark demonstrated how insane he wanted her. He hadn't bothered to stop even after being with her for hours. Chandler desired to be buried within the walls of this woman for the first time in his life. Those walls keep sucking him in, trapping him so he can continue to ravage her mercilessly.
He simply desired to see her die with him deep within her. Even after this whole ordeal was over, he was not going to let her go.
Chandler took one of those legs and slung it over his shoulder as he continued to ram into her. He leaped down on her and kissed her passionately after seeing those fluttering eyes with tears in them.
She didn't have much experience, but after so much intimacy, she was getting there. For someone so lovely to have gone unnoticed made him feel so possessive of her. She was his, and no one could take her away from him.
Vanity awoke with such a sore body that she cursed that beastly man in her mind over and over. When she opened her eyes, she realized she was still dressed in Chandler's shirt and in his bed. The room was still scented with their lovemaking, and she found herself blushing as she remembered what had happened between the two until dawn.
How could a man have the stamina to torture her for hours on end? If this is how that man reacts whenever they are drugged, she feels compelled to seize all the drugs, burn them, and possibly keep a number for herself for future use.
Even though her body was in excruciating pain, she would never die from it. No one else can kill her unless she wants to. After struggling to get out of bed, she took a look around the master bedroom, which she was only used to cleaning. It took her seconds, but she began to panic; the clock on the wall indicated that it was around noon, implying that she had overslept, and he had allowed her to do so.
She shook her head and went to the restroom first. She was speechless when she saw herself. How was she supposed to go to her own room when her entire body was covered in hickeys? How could he be so callous as to do this to her?
Vanity yanked off the shirt that had been covering her body and exclaimed once more. It was as if he had tattooed her, he didn't even spare her most intimate parts. This completely embarrassed her, but she had no choice but to put up with it and perhaps pretend it didn't happen.
She was so engrossed in her predicament that her long-distance hearing abilities failed her. She didn't even realize someone had joined her in the bedroom until another shadow appeared in the mirror.
"You scared the living daylights out of me!" Vanity couldn't help but shout, oblivious to the fact that her naked body was on display.
"I had no idea my employee had such a nasty mouth until you were busy talking dirty and begging me to give it to you. Do you like to talk like that, love?" Chandler spoke in a sluggish tone as he approached her.
When she heard this, Vanity panicked and face up the man, who was wearing an evil smile on his face. She'd seen a lot of cruel people in her life, but this man had to be at the top of the list.
Will he spare her now that she has said such things to him? Will he murder and dispose of her in order to silence her about what happened between them?
"I... this..." Vanity couldn't think of anything to say and just stared at the beast in front of her. Simply looking at him made her body tingle, and she could feel her nether regions itching for his touch once more.

How will Talia settle with her new life? Will she be able to easily accept all of this or run away with her tail between her legs
She couldn’t believe what she was hearing at the moment. Was this some kind of joke or what? One thing was for certain though, this man never joked. She had known him for a month and she had never seen him making a joke or smile for that matter. The other staff had given him a nickname, he was known as Mr. Cold because of the coldness he emits wherever he was. She knew that he was a good man; it was just the circumstances that turned him this way which was also one of the reasons why she developed a huge crush on the man even when she fully knew that he will never see her that way. So after all that assessment, why was he saying these words to her? “Are you joking sir?” she asked him as she staggered since she was standing on her two feet. “I am not a person who just jokes. I thought you said that you will help me when I need help. Are you turning back on your word right now?” this man was a professional, how could he make her the assailant in just a second when he was the one throwing a bomb on her. “I did say that but I never thought it will end up this way,” she said as she sat down on the opposite chair. “You promised so you have to this for me or do you want to see those wolves eating me up?” he asked her with raised eyebrows and she understood what he was saying. To be honest she didn’t want that at all. She would rather sacrifice herself and help him. This wasn’t a bad deal after all; she will have her own win too. “So, I simply just have to marry you?” she asked him once more. “Yes child, you marry me and become my lawfully wedded wife. I will take care of you and your family. You can still go to school like you were; all I need is for you to be by my side. I am not asking for much am I?” He really was asking her for too much. He didn’t even love her and yet he wanted her to marry him. She was in love with him and would be happy to do that but there were issues she just couldn’t decipher on her own and needed a bit of clarification. “Aren’t you worried about my age at all?” she asked him. “You are already an adult dear and not a minor so I am not worried at all. Just think about it and give me an answer. I will accept whatever decision you make,” he said. She looked at him and saw desperation in his eyes. A man like this wouldn’t come to her unless it was urgent. So she decided to make the biggest decision of her life that instant. “I will do it, I will marry you,” she told him and she saw a smile on his face. That was the first time she was seeing one on his face. He could emit such light with just a smile; she fell for him even more. She didn’t know what was going to come in the future but she was going to face it head on. She also deserves her own happiness even when it meant to be a bit selfish.
A mansion that appeared to be over three centuries old was built in a secluded valley. This was the mansion of a family that had lived in seclusion for centuries, not interfering with any outside affairs. There was a room in this mansion that was exquisitely decorated. This room belonged to the family's only daughter, the daughter who came after four generations, so she was spoiled and loved. She was everyone's apple, but the apple was currently comatose, as she had been for the past eighteen years. She was discovered in a deadly state eighteen years ago, her body covered in blood as if she had been attacked. Even after her life was no longer in danger, the girl never awoke, but no one gave up hope because they believed she would. Her life crystal was still shining brightly, indicating that she still had life in her. She was probably fighting a psychological battle, and when she was done, she would wake up. Every day, the woman will be wiped clean as if she were sleeping. Her mother was currently reading a book to her, something she does on a daily basis, when the woman screamed as she opened her eyes. For a split second, the mother forgot her daughter had been in a coma for so long, and when she regained consciousness, her husband and sons were already in the room. Everyone turned to look at the woman, who was frantically looking around for something. “Baby, what are you looking for?” her mother inquired. “What happened to you after you were in a coma for eighteen years?” The questions came one after the other, and the idea of calling a doctor was quickly forgotten, but when they received the answer, they all froze. “WHERE IS MY BABY GIRL?”
She sat crying by her mother’s side as she watched her breath fade away. She had been by her side all her life and now the invincible sacred lady was dying. How could she just die like that? “Mother, please don’t leave me!” she cried holding her hand. “I will always be there with you princess. Always remember that I love you and everything I did was to keep you safe,” she said. “Please don’t talk like that. Save your breath.” “I can see that your father is already waiting for me. Don’t let anyone take advantage of you, become much stronger no matter what you face in the future. Turn this mountain into something great and make everyone shake by the mention of your name. Don’t let them step on you ever. Remember that you are special child and you will always be in my heart,” her mother told her. “I will fulfill your wishes mother but please just don’t leave me yet,” she begged. “Once I’m gone, I need you to open my safe box and take out the letter that’s in there. Read it and burn it. I hoped a day like this will never come but since it’s already here, I’m afraid you should know the truth. I love you child and will always do,” her mother said and without giving her a chance to reply back she just fade away. She couldn’t believe it; she shook her and yet she didn’t respond. Her mother was gone and she was left alone. How could she bear to leave her alone in this cruel world? She cried out loud drawing the attention of the people who lived with her. They all came and bowed down and began to cry with her. She wiped her tears away and looked at the Left Guardian. “Prepare for my mother’s burial. Make it so grand and the mourning period will be three months. Increase the security around the mountain and anyone who doesn’t mourn with honesty will be buried with my mother. Make sure she gets buried alongside her husband. The tailor department should prepare a golden gown for her to be buried in. the gown should be done in a week and they should make it beautiful or else I will have their heads rolling down,” she gave an instruction and the Left Guardian crossed his arms as a show of respect. “I will carry out your instructions,” he said. She looked up and made a vow to her deceased mother. “I will destroy anyone that goes against the Lotus Palace. Anyone that will challenge me and anyone who caused my mother to fall to her demise I will get rid of them all. I am going to make my palace so great and much famous just like my mother wanted.” But first she has a letter to read and find out what was so crucial that her mother wouldn’t tell her but leave a letter for it. She found the safe box and cracked it. Inside there was a sealed letter with her mother’s seal. She broke the seal and took the letter out. She began to read the letter and it didn’t make sense at all. What was her mother telling her? How could this happen? She fell to the ground and hold the letter in her hand. “I will heed your advice mother,” she told herself and knew that everything had just changed. Her life was never going to be like she had imagined when she was young. Her life just made a huge turn around and there was no turning back.

Fighting was no longer an option; she just lay there, tears streaming down her cheeks, as the vicious men continued to vandalize her. They were strewn all over her body. Her body had become too numb for her to do anything. Everything started one beautiful evening when she was sent outside to run an errand. And, as she always did, she took the shortest route she knew well. She was walking when she noticed a young man she recognized; he was her older brother's friend, so she remained calm. She came to a halt to speak with him, only to black out in a matter of seconds. When she opened her eyes, she was naked in a deserted area, in a place she was unfamiliar with, with a huge man in between her legs. It was excruciatingly painful, so she cried and screamed, but the more she did this, the worse it became. While that man raped her incessantly, she noticed her brother's friend staring at her. She couldn't read his emotions, but she was filled with hatred for him. She put her trust in him, and this is how he repays her! To keep her from screaming, they stuffed a cloth in her mouth. She could see the desire and lust in their eyes. Their eyes said it all, and it was clear that they were not going to show her mercy. These jerks showed up prepared, and they didn't care that she hadn't fully bloomed. As they forced themselves on her one by one, she cried, tears streaming down her cheeks. What hurt the most was seeing that traitor, whom she had looked up to as a brother, ravaging her as if she were a stranger. She fainted in the middle of being vandalized, and after a while, she heard sirens. People were talking around her, but she couldn't open her eyes because she was too exhausted to do anything. The ambulance appeared to have arrived because she felt those needles enter her body and it didn't hurt. She couldn't help but cry when she heard her mother cry, and the last thing she heard before she passed out was, “I'm very sorry Ma'am, but due to the damage that was caused to your daughter, the only option is to operate on her and remove her womb.” “Why would you do something like that?” “It is severely damaged, and I am afraid that if we do not remove it, she will be in danger again, and it will be too late by then.” Hearing her mother cry, she despised everyone at the time. She was going to exact her revenge with her own hands, and the thirteen-year-old girl blacked out with that last thought.

He frowned as he looked into those beseeching eyes. 'It'll be taken care of by the end of business day tomorrow,' he said with a bit of an edge in his voice.
