Today is my sixteenth birthday. Most wolves find their mate on their sixteenth birthday and I had hoped my mate would save me from the abuse my pack puts me through but sadly my mate is the instigator of my abuse within the pack. Alistair, the alpha's son is my mate his rejection should of killed me and my wolf but little orphan me and my wolf are not normal wolves and we are going to make him regret his rejection.
"ROSE! Wake your sorry excuse of a existence up!" Jono screamed. "Before I drag you out like last time!" I shuddered in my bed even in this hot stuffy attic I could hear him storming up the stairs and quickly got dressed so I don't get beaten to a bloody pulp. My name is rose and I'm the packs punching bag ever since they found me as a pup. My parents left me in the woods on the border of the Midnight Moon pack as a infant with all my documents but my parents names was removed.
I rushed down to the ground floor to start preparing breakfast for the pack and if I'm lucky I'll get the scraps. Warriors start to pile in grabbing plates and stacking them full with fluffy eggs, crispy bacon, and flakey buttery biscuits then Amber and her posey come strutting in.
"Eewwww, it smells like rouge in here! Get out you mangy mutt!" As a glass of orange juice shattered against the back of my head. I staggered and could feel the blood already clotting in my think long red hair and running down my back staining my shirt.
Amber and Alistair are the alpha's son and daughter. Amber with brown long hair and just out of college at 25 has not found her mate yet and Alistair the soon to be alpha I fear more then Amber and should be coming in soon from training. I quickly cleaned up the glass and left the kitchen before he catches me if he does he might kill me this time.
I have until midnight when I become 16 then I can leave and never look back and find my mate the person who will cherish me and protect me and love me no matter what.
Alistair's pov
"Fucking mutt lingered in the kitchen for to damn long." I tell myself
I can smell her scent mixed with the tang of blood and for some reason it makes my wolf,
Lucian, whimper and I feel myself question him. But I don't put much thought into it as I set out to find the mutt and teach her a lesson on lingering, "ROSE! MY OFFICE NOW!" I shouted with my alpha tone. As I enter my office I could hear her sprinting to office to not make me wait. As soon as she knocked I swung the door open and grabbed her by throat and slammed her hard into the floor. Cracks and a few snaps of bone could be heard from the impact. I watched her the shock, the agony, all flash in her eyes and I drank up her pain.
"Why?" Was all she could croak out before I picked her back up and slammed my fist into her stomach this is for lingering in the kitchen, to make me smell your horrid stench.
She spat out blood and it's like something came over her, her hazel eyes becoming red and orange like fire. I could feel Lucian cower in the corner of my mind.
"Strike my human counterpart again before midnight and you will live to regret it lowly alpha." Rose said in a sickly sweet voice before walking out I was stunned as I could see her injuries hell and felt like I was standing in flames, it got hotter as she neared to leave my office, Lucian the coward wagged his tail at the sight of her bowing his head in respect and that pissed me off even more. "Must protect her" Lucian said with awe in his voice. Bastard is keeping me from moving. Rose reached the door and opened it "Dear alpha I do hope you and your pack stay away till after midnight unless you want to regret tomorrow even more so" Rose said as she left as the door clicked shut I was finally able to move and sat at my desk to contemplate what just happened and what it meant.

Kylan's eyes darkened, but the smirk on his lips exposed his amusement. "You and I both know we can't fight this, Violet," he said, gripping my wrist. "You're my mate." "And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
