"You're currently pressing your legs together because of the mess between your legs. Your breathing is rasp. You shiver when I touch you and I can smell your arousal" Ray whispered against Harlyn's nape. Then, he placed a kiss beneath her ear in a spot that is sensitive to Harlyn, and she bites her bottom lips to fight back a moan. Raymond's lips were inches away from Harlyn. All he had to do was lean in and they will be kissing. "I know you want me, Harlyn. But I will not touch you unless you say it out loud" and with that, Raymond left, leaving the young girl hot and bothered. ************ The life of eighteen-year-old Harlyn Sparton gets ramshackle when she gets a call from Raymond Lurton, threatening to expose compromising pictures and videos of her if she did not comply with his desires. She must do everything within her reach to save her dignity and her heart from being trampled over by him.
It was a beautiful Wednesday morning, the blue sky announcing the start of a lovely day and eighteen-year-old Harlyn Sparton had her earphones on, humming to her favourite song. Today, the third of December was her mom's birthday and the young lass couldn't contain her laughter. She had surprised her mom with a delicious breakfast and also made sure to have an edible arrangement delivered to her place of work. The only thing that mattered to her, was seeing a smile on her mom's face.
Ever since the passing away of her father, it has just been Harlyn and her mom against the world, but that will be a story for later.
The blonde lass stepped on her bicycle pedal, as a result of the surprise she threw for her mom this morning, she was running late. She attended the Saint Mary high school, a school known for the rich and members of the upper class. Of course, Harlyn doesn't come from a wealthy family, hence you wonder how she gained admission into Saint Mary? Well, Harlyn has always been a smart young lady, and thanks to her intelligence, she was awarded a scholarship grant into Saint Mary high school. The first two years were extremely difficult as she had no friends and had to deal with constant degrading stares and bullying from her peers.
After a while, she had gotten used to it. Harlyn wasn't ashamed of her background. She knew she no matter how hard she tried, she would never be one of them and so stopped trying and focused all her attention on the one thing that brought her to Saint Mary's high school.
But even the most determined person has a soft spot, and Diego Harrington was that person for Harlyn. Saint Mary's star quarterback and the most popular guy. Harlyn has been over heels for him since the first day she laid eyes on him, that was two years ago when he showed her around the school. And now, two years after, her feelings for him haven't changed. But this year, however, the blonde decided she would profess her love for him.
It was eight a.m. when the blonde made it to the parking lot for two wheels. Hurriedly, she made her way to the school block, and frantically stormed the hallway to her class. The door was already locked on her arrival and she contemplated going in, but after a while, she knocked lightly on the door and was let it.
Classes at Saint Mary high school lasted an hour, and it wasn't long until the bell went off and the students noisily waited for their next class.
"Psst, have you heard about Diego's birthday party on Friday?" Harlyn sat at the first seat and could hear the whispers behind her. Her curiosity got the best of her and she tried listening in on their conversation.
"Of course, who hasn't heard of it? It's the only thing circulating on the chat group" another voice answered.
Ah, the chat group where she had muted the notifications.
"Did you get an invite yet?" the first voice questioned, and the other voice's reply was filled with sadness.
"No, not yet. I hope I get one soon. I can't afford to attend that party"
"Well, I got mine already and in case you don't get an invite, I'll make sure to give you all the juicy details tomorrow" the first voice reply was filled with sarcasm and mockery. Harlyn didn't need to turn to know that the first girl's reply had her friend on edge.
She focused her attention back on the book before her.
Once again, another party that she wasn't invited to. But this party, she wanted to attend. She was ready to do whatever it takes it attend his party.
The door opening and the cranking of heels on the hard floor made the class go silent and had the blonde looking up at the board. Second period was her favourite since it was English and it was her favourite subject.
In less than no time, the second period was over and the blonde was sitting through her third period and it wasn't long until the bell went off. Indicating the end of the class. She was free in the fourth period so she stormed to the library to get a head start on a chemistry test they have due tomorrow. On her way to the library, she received a call from her mom.
"Hi, mom. I take it you received my gift" Harlyn replied once she had hit the answer bottom.
"Thank you so much baby, but you shouldn't have" Mrs Sparton's reply was filled with emotion.
"I know mom, but I wanted to. You deserve the best" the blonde replied with a smile on her face.
"Well, thank you, baby. I'll see you at home" was Mrs Sparton's reply before the call got disconnected. Keeping her phone in her backpack, she pushed open the door of the library. She made her way to the back and immediately went to study.
It wasn't long until her phone chimed, indicating that she had an incoming message. Frowning at the fact that she'd forgotten to put her phone on silent, the blonde fished out her phone to put on Do not disturb when she got distracted by the message.
Her eyes widened at the contact name. With sweaty palms and a racing heart, Harlyn opened the message and butterflies immediately swamped her insides. It was a simple message from Diego, a message she had no hopes of ever receiving.
'Hello there! If you are receiving this, then it means I like you. With that being said, you are invited to my birthday party on Friday the fifth. Stay tuned for more details"
A broad smile made its way to Harley's face. She had received an invitation to Diego's birthday party. She, the one person who doesn't get invited to any parties because of her background, finally got an invite to one.
And it isn't anyone. Diego's birthday party.
Her joy was over the roof.
"Best freaking day ever" the teen squealed, finding it impossible to contain her joy.
