(Brooke's POV)

"Here you go. Looks like you have a very naughty customer right there."

Meredith laughs as she is handing the wine of my naughty guest.

"Nah." I just said and released a deep exhale.

"Just kidding. Brooke, remember what I always told you. Do not work too

hard." she added, which makes me just smile weakly.

Meredith Willows, my friend who also works here at Martini Club as a

bartender. Well, I am so lucky to have her around here with me or else, I don't

have someone to lean on and someone to save me from jerk guests of mine

who want to buy and sleep with me for one night.

I just scoffed and pulled down my dress because it's already exposing my

whole legs before getting the wine she placed in front of me.

"I know, Mere. I am just fine. I can totally do this." I smiled and even winked at

her.

Well, what can I say, we are friends and she knows my job and she feels so

sorry about it. Meredith just deeply sighed and released some air. She stared

at me wearing a very sexy and seductive dress that really suits me but at the

same time looks pitiful for me to stand out.

"Yeah, right now, you are fine but I can see that old man is merely harassing

you. I have been telling you not to work pretty hard, honey." she worriedly

said, making me just snork.

She's not just my friend but I think she's also my soul sister because she

cares for me a lot. Good for her, her job is not that easy for me to say, but

she's so lucky that she is not being harassed every night. I envied her as you

know.

"Meredith, you know why I need to work this hard." I deeply sighed and I can

see that she truly understands me.

Like me, she is also here working because of her ill mother while I am here

because of my ill and comatose grandmother. I don't have somewhere else to

work and someone else to help me pay for her medical bills and other

expenses. I do have a sister, Rose, but she already left us and doesn't want

us to reunite with her. I guess, it's just really me and granny after all. Well, with

my name, Brooke, I am also broke.

"I know, Brooke. But all I want to tell you, is giving yourself a break is very

important. And if you are going to continue to have a class during the daytime and

be a hostess during nighttime, you wouldn't be able to stand it. I mean it."

Meredith said while making the other customers the drinks they have

ordered.

"I know. I understand. Don't worry about me. I need to go and my guest is

already waiting for me." I sexily winked at her and left swaying my sexy butt

with my sexy outfit tonight. Oh, I know she is going

to just shake her head right now knowing that she is jealous of my sexy body.

Meredith just didn't say anything and watched me as I went toward the old

man as my VIP guest right now. Before I took my seat in front of the old man, I

cleared my throat, making him look and smile at me. At first, I felt very

nervous being with him. I mean, yeah, he is rich but I know he is married, and

yet maybe he has some grandchildren as well.

"I'm sorry if I made you wait for your drink. Are you thirsty already?" I asked

him.

The old man just chuckles and sighs. I know he really likes me and wants to

bed me but I already told him that I am off-limits with that case and it's not part

of my job but it's up to us if we love to as our sideline but of course, I don't

want granny to think that I have been selling my soul and body for her.

It took me how many minutes to be with him. It's a good thing that his wife

called him and asked him to go home or else I am going to smell his old and

sneaky smell which is nearly killing me already. I

thought he was not going to give me a tip but I was more shocked because

what I expected him to give me was more than that. Well, he's a CEO as he

told me.

"You deserved this tip, honey. And I wish I am going to see you here again. I

really like you." Those were his last words to me.

To be honest, I didn't feel some butterflies flying around inside my stomach

because I even felt that I was just talking to my dad.

"Gross, I wish I am not going to see him again." I scoffed and shook my head

as I started to walk toward the bathroom.

The club is really busy tonight and her co-hostess is also busy entertaining

some guests of their own.

Sometimes, I don't feel happy with what I am doing but I don't have a choice.

Every time I think about the bills and expenses that I need to pay every day

and every month, I just want to end my life but I don't want to leave my

grandmother who took her whole life taking care of me after my parents died

as she told me. I was just out of myself, walking when someone hardly

grabbed my arm and I was very shocked and hurt by it.

"Hi sexy, mind drinking with us?" I looked at them and they were all drunk that

I can tell. I urged to grab my arm from the man who held me but he was too

strong to hold it.

"Uh--m, I am sorry but I need to go to the bathroom." I said and I admitted that

I am so nervous because no one ever did this to me.

Finally, I have the strength to take my arm back from that man. I can see that

they are rich but they are also dangerous.

"Come on! Do not embarrass us, miss." the other one said.

They are huge three guys and they looked so big as well. I can tell that my

sweats are already rolling down from my forehead because of my

nervousness. They got mad based on their facial reactions.

"Wh-at?! Is it supposed to be your job to entertain us, your guests? You are a

hostess! We are here because of someone like you, a hostess! Why don't you

want to come, sit down, and drink with us for a while? Why? Do you want us

to give you a down payment?!" I was shocked by what that man said. I was

just misjudged.

They are literally judging me just because I am a hostess. I know everyone is

already watching us and I feel so ashamed. I am not used to being treated like

this.

"N-o, I mean, I didn't mean anything to it but it's just that I really need to go

there." I utterly said caressing my arm.

Meredith is busy but she noticed that I am already in danger. She hurriedly

stood up to come toward us before something bad is going to happen to me.

"Come on, missy! A woman like you is already dirty. So, don't act like you are

afraid and not used to sitting, drinking, and playing a little with some men

around here." I was hurt.

I cannot endure their words and disrespect toward me. I easily get

emotional and I can't stop my tears from coming out but I need to hide them from

them. I heard them laughing at me.

"Look at you! We know a lot of men have already tasted, entered your vagina,

and licked or sucked your big boobs! Why are you still acting innocent? Or,

are you just afraid that we might be going to do that as well?" the third man

said.

I cannot stand this already. I am in shame right now. I just gently closed my

eyes and prayed that help is going to come to me.

"Hey! What is happening here?" Good thing, Meredith was here to help me.

I can feel her blocking me from them. I am so thankful that she is here already

or else I am going to end up like a coward being bullied by these three men

just because of my job. Meredith calmed them down but she asked me to

apologize again even though she really doesn't want me to.

"I am really sorry." I keep on apologizing and bowing my head.

The three guys just shook their heads and sighed. I bowed my head again

and gently wiped my tears.

"Whatever." they said.

"I am really sorry for what happened." I raised my head again and wiped my

tears but my eyes couldn't believe what I saw. Zane? Am I dreaming? My

heart feels so happy to see him again but looks like he is not happy to see me

again. Before I am going to say something, I was shocked when he just

kissed me and forced me to kiss him back. I can see everyone's eyes staring

at us and I also heard everyone gasping, even Meredith. What just

happened?
