Life can be cruel and hard but it really doesn't stop you from living your life to the fullest right? Hazel can be a perfect example of that, a girl who lives in pain but doesn't show it, no matter what she is going through, she always finds a way to adapt to it. But what happens when all she has to do is live all her life in a month? Will she be able to achieve that?
"Hazel come on, hurry up." Her mother screamed at her as she rushed out of her room, she got to the stairs and tripped all the way down.
Her mother sighed and stared at her as she got up and fixed her glasses.
"Really?" Her mother asked and she smiled.
"Am sorry mum, I slept late and I couldn't hear the alarm this morning."
"Every day it's always an excuse, your sister is in the car waiting for you, you are always the reason you guys are late every day."
"Jeez mum, I said am sorry." Hazel groaned and walked out of the house, she sighed and joined her sister in the car.
"Morning Sophie." She greeted and as usual, she ignored Hazel. Hazel sighed as Sophie drove them to school.

Hazel Blake is a beautiful teenage girl, she has long black hair and blue eyes, she is a nerd who wears glasses due to her eye problem, she is clumsy, she is sixteen years old and the daughter of a rich man in New Jersey. Hazel is beautiful but she doesn't accept that fact so she just lives the life of a nerd. Hazel also has medical issues, she often gets panic attacks, she has difficulty in breathing when she sees violence,
Sophie Blake is Hazel's cousin, she has been living with Hazel's family ever since she was young, not because she doesn't have parents but because Sophie's mum left when she was still months old, and her father couldn't take care of her so they decided to take her in. Sophie is the opposite of Hazel, she dresses like a princess, and she is bold and one of the most popular girls in school. Ever since Hazel and Sophie were young they were never on good terms, no one knows why though.
They both attend the best school in New Jersey cause their parents are wealthy.
Sophie suddenly stopped the car a bit from school and turned to Hazel.
"You know what to do." Sophie said and Hazel nodded, she got down and Sophie drove towards the school immediately. That is how it has always been, no one in the school knows that they are siblings and due to how popular Hazel is, no one knows her last name is Blake.
Sophie is always embarrassed to be seen with Hazel, her parents are also embarrassed to be seen with her so they always treat her like she doesn't exist.
Hazel sighed and was about to walk forward but tripped, she groaned and stood up again.
"Shit." She muttered before walking to school.
She got to school and headed to her class, she is in a different class with Sophie, Sophie is in an art class while she is in science.
She entered her class and sat on her seat, others didn't notice her nor did she call for attention.
The teacher came into the class after a while and the class started.
After a while, the bell rang which meant they had to switch to the next subject, according to Hazel's timetable she has a general class with Sophie. She sighed and stood up before walking out of the class.
She got to where the class is and walked in with other students who also had the class. Sophie rolled her eyes on seeing her and Hazel sat at the back of the class.
Since the teacher was yet to arrive, Hazel brought put her drawing book. She loves to draw a lot and it calms her down whenever she is mad.
She started drawing an image that popped up in her head and smiled, suddenly someone dragged the book from her and burst into laughter which drew the attention of the students.
"Hey everyone, this nerd is drawing Sophie." The guy yelled and everyone stood up.
"Wow, does she have a crush on Sophie?" A girl asked and everyone gasped.
"She is a lesbian." They chorused and Hazel's heart skipped beats as she stared at Sophie who was seriously glaring at her.
"Ugh, don't take it too serious guys, she is just one of the nerds who wish to be me." Sophie yelled still glaring at her and the students nodded. The guy threw the book at her and she ran out of the class immediately.
Hazel groaned when she got to a quiet area and threw her drawing book on the floor.
"Shit, why did I draw Sophie of all people." She muttered and paced around thinking of the trouble she might get into with Sophie.
"Ugh, you are so dumb, Hazel." She groaned and ruffled her hair.
"I don't like Sophie right?" She asked and sat on the floor.
"Oh My God, it's like am in love with Sophie." She gasped and held herself tightly.
"Oh, what is wrong with me? Why am I talking to myself? Am I crazy? Oh my God, am crazy!" She screamed and it echoed in the hallway.
"Shit, am crazy." She muttered and stood up, she picked up the drawing book and smiled.
"Am not crazy." She said with a smile and walked back to the class.
The school was finally over and it went well with Hazel avoiding Sophie, at the usual spot Sophie picked Hazel and they head home together.
"Sophie, am really sorry about what happened." She apologized and Sophie ignored her.
They got home and entered the house, Hazel was about to drop her bag when Sophie hit her and she fell roughly.
"You fucking bitch." She yelled and kicked her on the floor. Hazel closed her eyes and tried breathing properly but couldn't, she gasped for breath as Sophie continued hitting her.
Sophie noticed it and stopped immediately, she screamed at her as Hazel's mother rushed down the stairs.
"What happened?" She asked as she rushed to Sophie instead of Hazel.
"Hazel." She called and her eyes widen when she saw Hazel gasping for air, she rushed to her and helped her onto the couch.
"Listen, Hazel, just breathe, it's okay. All you have to do is breathe." She said continuously and she finally calmed down.
"Now, what happened?"
"Why don't you ask her what she did." Sophie said and walked upstairs
"Hazel, what happened again?"
"I seriously have no idea, do you have chicken soup? Am really hungry." She said with a smile.
"Really?"
