Benjamin/Amelia's POV
"Benjamin run!" A voice called from behind me and I picked up the pace, not even
bothering to look look back and check what the problem was.
"Raaaaa." I heard a resounding roar from somewhere behind me and it made me run even faster.
I don't even slow down to see where in was going to as all I could see was a large expenses of a trees for as far as eyes could see. I was in the forest and I could risk the possibility of stopping to scout the area.
I just ran and ran as fast as my legs could not take me.
"Ahhhh." I head a scream from the somewhere closed by and it was then that I knew that I would be next if I didn't escaped.
I could hear the rhythmic thumping of Large feet behind me. I knew that they were close and if I didn't escaped now, I would be the dead meat.
My heart was beating so hard in my chest as I try my best to create more distance between a ray of light suddenly shone on my face and I looked at the direction it was Coming from and found it to he an exit and a path to a large cleaning.
I knew that once I was able to get to that cleaning, I would be safe seeing as that things were scared of the sunlight.
"Raaaaa" another roar resounded and this time it was so closed I could almost taste the bad breath.
'Benjamin, faster! You are almost there. Just a bit more.' I thought to myself as I had almost reached the entrance.
I could already feel the peeking rays of sunlight leaking at my skin as I approached it. I could already tastes that sweet victory and man did it taste really sweet.
Just when I am about to step out into the light, I didn't look down so I suddenly stripped on a branch and fell.
"Ughhh" I groaned as I fell and had the air knocked out of me.
I hit my head hard so I was sure that there would be blood from the impact.
'Well that was definitely going to leave a mark.' I groaned as I massages the part of my forehead that was not injured.
I suddenly heard a growl right above my back as something wet and slimy kept continuously dripping on to my back.
'Oh my god! How could I be forgotten that I was running for something before I reached here? I chided myself as I slowly flipped myself on to my back to get a glimpse of what was behind me.
'On my god! It's even bigger than what I could imaging.' I thought with a wide eyed as I stared at what was hovering over me.
"Easy big boy! Easy now." In said softly in a bid to calm down the monster.
Well, this was a monster called Dramus.
It looked like a fully developed dragon but it had no wing at all. There were two dark red horns on the top of its head that was complementing its deep red eyes. It had green shiny scaled scattered at different part of it body as well as its horn. The color of it body was brackish grey color and all in all it looked ridiculous hideous.
Well now this hideous monster had its jaw wide open, ready to bite my head off.
'Well I am screwed' I thought to myself as I closed one of my eyes and leaned back to accept my fate.
A roar suddenly left its mouth and it lunged at my neck with the intention to kill.
And then.....
