"Marry Mr Devon and I'll pay for your mother's surgery"my father said as he looked at me with merciless eyes. A year ago,Emma Johnson's mother was diagnosed to have a tumor in her brain. With Jason Devon,Emma's father refusing to pay for her mother's treatment stating its a waste of good money,Emma is forced to take a bribe from her father to marry the oldest sonof the Devon family so that their businesses can merge and he gains dearly. With no other option,Emma marries James Devon reluctantly which changes her life for ever.
Today was my wedding day.The day I would get married to a man I did not know nor love."I'm all done with your make up ma'am" the stylist said as she backed away and let me look in the mirror. "Thank you"I said as I gave her a gentle smile. She packed up her belongings and exited the room leaving me alone with my thoughts.
I couldn't help but look at myself in bewilderment.I looked drop dead gorgeous though I did not have a lot of make up on plus my wedding dress looked divine on me.I wore a mermaid dress which was sleek and sexy.It fitted my body from my chest to my knees then flared at the bottom which made the silhouette show off my curves.
I sighed as I took the flower bouquet on the dressing table and headed downstairs to the hotel's hall were all the bridesmaids and groomsmen where. As I walked in they all starred at me only now seeing the bride to be.I didn't know any of these people except my best friend,Anne Frank who I begged my father to at least make my maid of honor.
"You look dazzling Emma"Anne said as she approached me with a big smile on her face."Thanks Emma"I said as I pulled her into embrace."How are you feeling"she asked as she pulled back and noticed the distress in my eyes."Im a bit skeptical about all this but im doing this for my mom"I said as I tried plastering a smile on my face.
"Don't worry Emma, everything will be alright"Annie said, trying to soothe my aching heart.
Suddenly a man dressed a black tuxedo walked into the hall and right behind him was my father."Line up everybody"the man commanded as all the bridesmaids and groomsmen lined up with their partners. After they were all ready, the man made a call and loud music could be heard from outside which was a signal as they danced their way out to the crowd leaving me and my father alone on the room.
"Make me proud Emma"my father said looking at me somberly.I nodded at him still anguished at how a man could do this to his own daughter. My father said nothing as he waited for the the music to end.Once the music ended ,my father took my hand and wrapped it around his as he waited for the music to begin."Remember to smile"he said as he smiled from ear to ear.
As the song better together started to play and that was my cue to enter. As we neared the doors that lead to the huge exquisite garden,I felt my heart stop at the site before me.The view looked breathtaking but what scared me were the hundred pairs of eyes which looked at me.There were prestigious people which I knew would be present but was not expecting this many people.I walked down the aisle as people looked amazed at how beautiful I was.My father on the other hand couldn't help but look happier than the bride. My father showed his excitement as he waved to all the guests as we walked past them to the alter. My father left me at the alter and went to sit in the front row next to the Devon's.
I waited at the alter for my husband to be.I only had to wait a few minutes before a Rolls Royce came into site. The driver got out and opened the door .
An attractive man walked out and took a glance at the guests as dominance radiated from him.He walked towards me until we faced each other looking into each others eyes.As I looked at him,I couldn't help but notice his well proportioned body which imposed both health and strength. He looked utterly munificent.
As the priest greeted all the guests,I couldn't help but see how the guy looked at me .The looked at me blankly and with emotionless and expressionless eyes.Who looks at his wife like this.
The priest opened the bible and read out some verses which were based on marriage. He then explained the scriptures and asked us to say our vows.
"Emma Johnson, you may go first"the priest said,as turned and looked at me.I smiled and nodded .
"I Emma Johnson vow to take care of you and love aswell as cherish you.As your lawfully wedded wife,I promise to be with you in sickness and in health all the days of our lives.I promise to add value to your life and make it worth every moment."I said as I took his hand and looked him into the eyes with a smile plastered all over my face.I could feel him shrug at the gesture yet he tried not to show it to much. The priest smiled after I said my vows aswell as everyone. They looked smitten by my sweet promises towards my husband. but If only the knew they were written by my father and that he had my rehearsing them two weeks before the wedding.
"Your next my son"the priest said as he looked at James .James sighed before starting.
"Emma Johnson,my beloved.Today is the day I make you mine officially. From the first time I saw you,I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.You are like a ray of sunshine in my life.I promise to treat you and give you everything you need and want but that isn't enough to show you how much I love you.Not even words can define how much I love you, till death do us apart my love"
"What the f*ck!"I thought to myself as I blushed slightly at his words. His voice was cold and deep yet so angelic.
For a minute I thought this was all real and I could imagine the love in his words but it wasn't real. The wedding continued and we said our "I do's" and we kissed.Cheers erupted from the crowd congratulating the newlyweds.
The rest on the night continued smoothly. We ate food prepared by the hotels five star chefs, had celebrity guests,we danced the whole night and drank until we couldn't no more.
As the other guests continued to have fun.I couldn't help but noticed that my "husband" didn't flinch and no one dare approach him .He sat on one of the couches placed all around the garden and had a bottle of whiskey accompanying him.I didn't mind him that much since I didn't want to bother him.As the day ended and morning began, we decided it was time the event ended. Some guests went home while others booked hotel rooms to stay the night..
I said goodbye to my in-laws with James on my shoulder. He was really drunk so preferred not to say anything and only nodded when they bid him goodbye.
"Promise you'll visit us soon"Mrs Devon said ,with a sweet smile on her face. "I promise"I said as I gave her a hug which was kinda awkward considering the fact the my body had to bear the weight of my husband on my shoulders. With great difficulty I managed to take James to our room and get him in bed .
Minutes after laying him down ,I headed to the bathroom were I pampered myself to a nice long shower .Half an hour later I got out of the bathroom with a towel hugging my body only to find James on his phone.
"Are you okay?"I asked as he glanced at me.He didn't reply as he stood up and brushed through me and entered the bathroom .I guessed he also wanted to take a shower so I lay in bed waiting to ask him about future plans.
Twelve minutes later James walked out of the bathroom looking rather sexy with a towel rapped around his waist showing of his abs which looked like those of a demi god.I couldn't help but notice his very appealing physique.
"Stop staring or your eyes will pop out"James said as the towel dropped from his waist."What the heck!"I squealed as I tried covering my eyes.I could hear foot steps approaching the bed and without warning he removed my hands from covering my eyes revealing his naked body.
"I don't love you....but as your husband it's my duty to fulfill your sexual needs"he said as he pulled me down and placed my legs on his shoulder. I said nothing as I watched the man remove the towel which embraced my body and throw it on the floor.I couldn't help but resist as I felt my legs go weak.I could sense he felt my feet quivering on his shoulders. He smirked which had butterflies erupting in my stomach. He was undeniably handsome and even the most stubborn could not help but love the blue gray eyes that pierced a soul, his deep yet angelic voice and his greek god body.My thoughts were interrupted by deep thrusts which had me moaning in pain.
