Emily's P.O.V
"Are you ready to work hard for me?" he asks and I moan softly as his lips work wonders beneath my thigh.
He pauses for a while and locks his eyes on mine. My knees are shaking and I want him more. He moves his lips closer to mine and soon he is kissing me passionately.
"Will you work hard for me?" He asks again, his voice more commanding this time.
"Yes! Yes, I will," I whisper under my breath.
"Emily!" He calls and his voice sounds faint.
"Emily!"
I fall from my bed and land on my hips. Steve was yelling my name. I didn't know for how long as I was having the weirdest dream of my life.
My best friend and roommate Natasha were already taking a shower and I guess she didn't want to bother my sleep.
"Emily, get your lazy ass out of your bed and get yourself a job!" Steve yells again and I storm out of my cramped-up apartment angrily.
"You don't have to announce to the entire world that I don't have a job, Steve. I'll have your money for the apartment ready by tomorrow," I scuff and he laughs so hard it makes my ears bleed.
"Where are you going to get the money? From your life savings?" he mocks me and for a moment, all I want to do is slap that stupid smile off his face.
"Hey Steve, stop making the poor girl's life miserable!" yells a man from down the street.
"I'm not poor. And my life isn't miserable!" I snort but my response only amuses them the more.
"Says the lady who got fired from five jobs in one week," Steve utters and my anger gets the best of me.
I pick up an empty bottle of beer by the door and throw it at Steve which he catches with his hand effortlessly.
"That's the best you can do?" he teases and Natasha steps in just in time before I do something more stupid.
She is wearing a towel around her body and nothing more. Her wet hair is packed into a ponytail and I have no idea how she makes it work.
"That's enough Steve. It's my turn to pay the rent anyway," she declares and throws a few dollar notes for him on the floor.
Steve doesn't mind the attitude; he picks the money from the ground and counts it carefully. He raises an eyebrow at the both of us and chuckles.
"Fifty dollars is not going to be enough for all the money you both owe me," he announces and walks back into his apartment.
I walk back into our bedroom, Natasha following behind me and I fall on the bed, face first.
"He is so infuriating!" I yell and Natasha giggles.
"I think he likes you," she laughs but I do not find her joke funny.
"Just wake me up when the world is ending," I sigh.
"How about waking you up because you're going to be late for your job interview today," Natasha declares and I bolt up from the bed.
"Now this is why I love you," I respond, hugging her and then dashing into the bathroom to take a shower.
Not minding that I am running late, I take my sweet time in the shower as I enjoy the feel of the cold water on my skin. I come out a few moments later wearing only my bikini and find Natasha going through my laptop.
On the screen is the company website which I had gotten the job application from and I haven't been able to tell her what my true job would be if I got hired, but it seems she just found out on her own.
"You are applying to become a nanny?" she asks and I walk over to where she is, in an attempt to shut my laptop, I accidentally tap on an icon and the image of the CEO who I would soon be the nanny of his kid's flashes on the screen. The same man I was making out with in my dream.
"Oh my God he is freaking dreamy," Natasha utters.
"You don't have to tell me," I whisper, and she giggles.
"You had a dream about him, didn't you?" she asks and I ignore her question.
"I'm running late for my interview," I respond, changing the subject.
"You had better get the Job!" Natasha giggles as I get dressed and quickly dash out of the house.
"Going somewhere?" Steve asks and I scuff.
"You do know that it's weird to be stalking your neighbor?" I ask him as a taxi pulls over before me and I climb in.
I hand the driver the address of the company which I wrote down on paper and after what seemed like forever, he drops me off at the entrance to the company.
"Enzo Aviation," I whisper as I observe a plane taking off from the massive runway which is visible from where I stand.
My phone beeps and it's the remainder I set just in case I arrived late for my interview which I just clearly did.
I run into the large office and bump into a lady wearing very expensive cloth. She falls to the ground on her hips and I barely have time to help her get to her feet as I continue my journey to find the receptionist.
"I'm so sorry," I yell out to the lady.
"You must be Emily Willows?" another young lady calls out to me and I turn to face her.
"Yes, I am. I'm here for an interview with us the CEO of the company," I respond and she smiles at me, looking over my shoulder to the lady I had knocked down on my way to her.
"You should have helped her up," the lady utters.
"Oh, I wanted to but I figured that I was already late for the interview and I didn't want to miss it," I respond in my defense and the lady chuckles softly.
"It's alright. I mean the boss doesn't like people being late on their first meeting but you're the only person that applied for this nanny job so I don't think he has any other choice than to hire you. By the way, you look very beautiful," the lady informs me and I smile warmly at her.
"Thank you so much um, what's your name?"
"I'm Sasha, Mr. Christopher's assistant, and receptionist," she smiles and extends a hand for me to shake her.
"Sasha, I'm Emily. Shit you already know my name," I respond, realizing how stupid I was at the moment.
"The boss will see you in his office now, right this way please," she offers and walks me to the CEO's office.
