MARRIAGE??
Rosie's POV
"Girls, you all get whatever you want, pick any dress, shoes, makeup and anything that Interest you. Don't hold back your shopping talents. Shop and make Mama proud. Bills on me." I boasted to my friends.
"You serious now girl, you of all people should know we are shopaholics." Sara said to me.
I sighed and looked at her. Why can't my friends accept a kind gesture for once in their godammed life. I rolled my eyes at her.
"Sara, you think I can't afford a few million dollars with just the snap of my fingers?" I asked with contempt.
"It's not what I was saying. It's just that..." she started.
"Please hold it. It's not what I would want to hear." I said cutting he off.
I looked around and saw the other three looking at me with amusement.
"Are you guys gonna stand there and listen to her or you're gonna get in and shop to your heart fill?" I asked smiling.
I watched with satisfaction as they all squealed and ran towards the clothing racks lined up and started looking for the most expensive things they could buy. Including Sara, of course. I already knew that's what they would do at this given opportunity.
My friends are also freakingly rich but I always beat them at everything. Beauty, brains and even money. So they always are in a haste when I offer to pay the bills so they buy things they can't dream of buying with their parents credit cards.
While they were busy sorting out things for themselves, I walked round hoping to find something to interest me as they was no trend of clothing that I don't have. Nothing is ever new to me.
I had it all. My dad was a big business man and my mum owned the biggest makeup companies on the whole of New York. I am a model by profession and I make lot of money. Not like my sissy friemds who depend on their parents for livelihood.
I was admiring the garden at the mall when my phone started ringing.
I looked at the caller ID and smiled. It was my mum.
"Hey mum." I said.
"Sweetheart, where are you." She asked.
"Oh. Went to the mall with my friends. I think Sara is in one of her good mood today because she told took the girl to the mall to get them a little something. More like a little get together with them." I said plainly.
"Ok dear. I want you to come home as soon as you can, we have something to discuss." My mum said frantically.
"Can't you just tell me over the phone?" I asked.
"Rosie" she yelled.
Once she tells my name like that, it means what she wants to tell me is serious.
"Ok mum. I'll start coming." I said.
"That's good" she said and I could hear a sigh of relief on the other end.
I picked up my handbag and started heading towards my car that is packed outside the mall. I guess Sara would not mind spending a few thousand bucks for the girls. Afterall, she has money. I don't care. She once told me she's wealthier than me. Let her prove she has enough money.
The ride home was almost an hour because of the traffic. My phone buzzed and I answered it at the second ring.
"It was your plan right, how could you do this?" Sara asked.
"What did I do this time. Sara" I asked and smiled within myself because I saw Sara pick up the most expensive thing she could find at the mall.
Sara is not the kind of girl I'd like to keep for a friend though. She's always competing with me. Not like she can beat me but I hate competitions.
"How could you ask us to pick up things and then leave us all alone at the mall. You knew the girls didn't have money on them and I'd have to pay for those things." She said angry.
"Come on, remember when you said your family much more wealthier than mine? Am sure a few thousand dollars would do no harm to your personal account though." I said snickering.
"You evil trained demon, I'll get you for this." She threatened.
"Be happy to see you try. Better lucks next time. And for the note, i don't want to see you around me. You disgust me." I said and hung up.
I drove into the house driveway and parked my red sports car and walked into the house. I headed straight to the wine storage and poured out two glasses of whiskey and went upstairs to my mum's room.
She was sitting down on her reading table working on some files. She stopped when she saw me staring at her.
"Oh you're back " she said and I went over to give her a hug.
"Yes mum. And what is the important news that is so urgent that made me blow up my friends at the mall just now and one of them raining abuses on me." I said jokingly.
I handed he one glass of whiskey and she smiled at me and collected it.
"I think you should sit down." She said escorting me to the armchair.
I tried to read out her emotions but she was just like dad, holding all emotions within them and in check.
"Mum, spill the beans." I said.
She smiled at me. I know whatever she wants to say isn't good news and am ready for it.
"You know everything we do is for you right?"
"Yes I know quite alright." I replied. That was a sign.
"We sent you to the best schools and when you wanted to go for modelling, we stood in the gap for you. We always support you till the very end. We love you immensely and would never force you to do what you don't want to do." She said and paused. As if waiting for my approval to continue.
"I get it and am happy. Am grateful to you guys for that." I said.
"I and your dad are working so hard to make life easy for you."she continued.
I was already running out of patience by this time and couldn't wait no longer.
"Mum, what is it?" I demanded.
"When we started this company, it wasn't that good but with time, it became the best in country. People respect us." She paused and took a sip of her wine.
"But now, our company seem to be facing a rough phase. We need power. And the only company that can assure us that is the Cistern company." She smiled at me.
"That's Mr Leo''s company" I said recalling my worst nightmare, Leo. I didn't like him one bit and would never want to see him in my life.
"Yes, and he has promised to help us on one condition." She said.
I rolled my eyes at my mum. Of course with a condition. Would that kind of massive company partner with us for now thing?
"What's the catch and where do I fit in here?" I asked.
"He wants to marry the woman he was bethroted to." She said and I looked at her.
"Don't tell me..." I began.
"You are betrothed to Leo and you have to marry him" mum said and looked at me.
"What in the world" I yelled.
"Am sorry." She tried to say.
"Mum, yes I know that I am bethroted to that cold man but how can you just make a decision without asking me?" I inquired.
"It also came as the only way out. You don't want your dad to loose the company now, do you?" Mum asked.
"I don't care, I just want to be free for a long time in my life." I replied and stormed out of the room fiercely....

"You're mine, little puppy," Kylan growled against my neck. A soft gasp escaped my lips as his lips brushed my skin. My mind screamed at me to push him away-the Lycan Prince who had humiliated me again and again, but my body betrayed me, leaning into him before I could stop myself. He pressed his lips against mine, and his kiss grew more aggressive, more possessive as I felt my legs weaken. What was I doing? In a split-second, I pulled away and slapped him hard across the face. Kylan's eyes darkened, but the smirk on his lips exposed his amusement. "You and I both know we can't fight this, Violet," he said, gripping my wrist. "You're my mate." "And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
