SYNOPSIS "I didn't want this Izan, this is all your fault" she said looking away from the mirror to look away from him. "I know but I need you and you agreed to this, so it's not my fault after all" he said forcing her face to look back at her. "I did not, you coerced me into this so don't you turn this on me, now please let's get on with what is necessary" "I am not sleeping with you, sex is intimate and sacred" she said standing to walk away from him. She couldn't believe she was denying a good night with him. Handsome King of the darkness Izan. "Trust me I know darling, it is sacred" he stressed on the 'is' but then continued, "but to you it's not" She narrowed her eyes finally looking at his gorgeous face. Sometimes he looked cute and she felt like she could pinch his cheeks but on the other hand, dark pleasure played on his face. "What do you mean Izan?" How did he know about her habits back at home? "Well, I did some digging and well, I found alot so this should not be a big issue for you Neera" "With you it is" "I'm sorry, but they're here and we need to do it" "No" her eyes snapped to the door when a knock interrupted their banter. "Yes Neera" he said his black eyes glinting the dark of the room. The door opened letting in cold air and three people. Why did she agree to his offer? *** What happens when you take an unwanted journey to find treasure. Treasure that you don't really need but end up finding more that just treasure. A new world in which you didn't really want any relation with. It was her one last time that she gave in but the results were much greater.
"Princess you need to go, His Majesty is waiting for you" the guards urgent voice said from right outside the door.
She couldn't speak as she rode away her orgasm. Her thoughts were incoherent but she'd definitely heard what the guard said.
"I- I need to go Jason" she whispered her voice barely a whisper.
"Can't my princess stay a bit longer?" Jason asked as he slumped beside her, naked as a new born child.
"I wish I could Jason but I cannot, I have Royal duties to attend to" she slung her feet off the comfort of the sheets and wore a robe and made sure to tie it to prevent showing off her nakedness to the world.
"Royal duties, royal duties all the time, this is the only time you've given me this month" he groaned rolling on his stomach.
"Because am busy Jason"
"Ok then princess, one last kiss before you leave"
"Ok" giving up and heaving a sigh of annoyance she let him come and kiss her.
She hated the kisses, sloppy and messy but overall he was a good guy. "Now go attend your duties"
"Thank You Jason" she swung the door open in her robe only to be met by her bossy guard.
.
"What does my father want?"
"There is something he needs you to do" he said looking away from the princess. She climbed her carriage ready to head back to the comfort of the castle walls.
"What is that 'something'?"
"You'd better hear it from His Majesty himself" always avoiding to tell her anything before her scolding father started her with.
The ride to the castle wasn't long and soon she was walking into the castle doors still in her robe. A few guards offered her wide eyed looks but she simply smiled.
'Should already be used to this, don't know why they're alarmed'
Her mother's face appeared from the top of the stairs, immediately her eyes landed on her clothing she paused still at the top.
Her entourage looked alarmed too, "Say it mother"
"Neera! What are you wearing!?" the alarm in her voice was evident. "I do not have the time for this, go get dressed right now Neera" she said waving her fan in a dismissive gesture.
"Yes mother"

As a princess she despised parties and balls since she had attended so many of them since she became a princess, it had become annoying to attend them.
Forced smiles and forced conversations weren't her cup of tea but her father had summoned her.
Earlier on she hadn't met him since he was busy but finally her time had come and she wasn't eager to meet with him.
Alot of scolding due to her misbehaviour as a princess. The doors opened to reveal her father sitting on his chair in his office.
"How are you Neera?" he asked sitting upright after eventually sighting her presence.
It was out of his norm to greet her first so this was a first for her.
"Am doing good, father"
"How was your day?" she frowned surprised at his politeness. He was a good father and King and she loved him dearly the only issue was that he never had time for his family ever since he became king.
"Rather uneventful and as you know I hate the balls and-"
"That's enough Neera, have a seat I have a request for you"
His patience for this conversation was wearing off fast and the mention of a request made her thoughts come to a pause.
A marriage proposal,,,but if it were a marriage proposal, it wouldn't be a request but a command. So she was utterly clueless.
"Am sorry please continue"
"Do you know about The Demon's Treasures?"
She'd heard of it but it was all but a theory, they were treasure's that had been hidden on an island, Nefeli.
It had not really been confirmed that there was really wealth on the island but books said there was.
"Have you?" her father asked after noticing that her silence had prolonged for too long and she was wasting his precious time.
"I have heard a rumour"
He relaxed on his seat then continued, "Well apparently it is not a rumour or a theory and this evening I've just been informed that it is true there is wealth on the island"
"And who was the informer?"
"You do not have to question that, there will be a group of scholars who will be going to the island for exploration and I was requesting that you might accompany them so that you can come back with the confirmation of this information" he said avoiding eye contact with her.
He too understood why this was wrong, first, why was she the one to go and not her brother, second, this was the third time he was sending her out due to baseless rumours of wealth and third;
he wasn't requesting but commanding for her to go. Even if she rejected he would scold her with, it was service to the crown and Kingdom of Acadia.
"Father you know that-"
"I know and this time am truly sorry, I promised I wouldn't send you again but please this one last time do it for me" he pleaded plus apologized. Wealth raised the ranks of a kingdom and since Acadia was in possession of an island was an advantage, the presence of wealth on the island was a bonus.
His gaze on her was solemn and sorry. He was truly sorry and as much as she hated travelling based on rumours, she had to.
Just this one last time, to prove to him and his scholars that everything they discovered was false.
"When do we leave?" she slumped back on the seat with a sigh.
A smile lightened up her father's features followed by, "Thankyou Neera, tomorrow early in the morning, is that ok?"
She would have protested that that was too early and immediate but she didn't and only nodded and walked out of his office to pack.
Just this one last time, she would not protest.
This one last time she would be a good princess and service her kingdom and the crown.
