An angel, a human portal to different realms and a telepathic queen of the afterlife. A revelation was aired to every mystical creature about three creatures that were the redemption of the world, giving the mystic creatures the power to rule Earth one more time. On a full moon, they were meant to lay these creatures under the reflection of the moonlight and kill them. The angel was to be burnt, the telepathic queen of the afterlife slaughtered and the portal to the realms was to be killed by her magic. Will they willingly concur with the prophecy or fight for their freedoms?
She snoozed her alarm and kicked off her duvet, her body was embraced by the cold breeze from the air conditioner. A yawn escaped her lips as she hopped off her bed, she stretched her cramped limbs while staring out her bedroom window, down at the busy street of Hempstead town.
Her lazy legs moved gently towards her bathroom door, she raised her hand in midair and her fingers wrapped around the door knob to twist it open.
Genesis walked in and began her face therapy for the day, she applied face cleanser cream and immediately grabbed her toothbrush afterwards, she squeezed the toothpaste out of the tube and began to brush her teeth.
After a few minutes Genesis heard her alarm go off again and the realisation that she was running late for work hit her hard in the stomach causing her physical pain. Her mind went haywire and suddenly her body moved into a panic mood.
She moved swiftly out of the bathroom, she flung her wardrobe door open and fished out the outfit for the day.
It was a beautiful Monday sunny morning and Genesis was spotted wearing a black long sleeve suit,a pencil skirt and a pair of white sealihot.
Genesis is a twenty years old fresh out of college with a two years working experience as a news reporter and an author of a few hidden best seller novels.
She gracefully strolled out of the elevator turning heads and judgmental eyes to her direction, she was a bold and confident black woman who believed in hard work or no pay.
Her hair was always a statement and never found undone. She waved as a form of greeting to the receptionist who smiled heavily at her.
"Where are you?." She asked on the phone with her personal driver.
He signed in exhaustion then briefly replied to her. "On my way ma'am."
Genesis stood at the front of her apartment block waiting for his arrival, she glanced at her watch from time to time while she stood and waited, her nerves began to tense and her eyes moved around eager to get a glimpse of his car but he was nowhere to be found.
With little or no time to waste she immediately booked an Uber which was just two minutes away and around the estate, with joy that brightened her heart a little she waited for her new ride to arrive but it felt as though the world was against her today and it was a Monday.
A Monday when she needed to be at the most important meeting of the year.
"Genesis Daniels?." She heard the voice of a man say from her blind side.
Genesis jumped out of her thoughts and turned around to see a man in a red tinted car staring at her.
She google eyed his car for a second and then her phone to be sure she wasn't hallucinating on how she met her Prince Charming. "Yes..?" She replied puzzled.
"You ordered an Uber, here I am."
She took a deep breath and opened the passenger seat door and sat in the car.
"Are you sure?." She asked him while staring at the interior of the car and most especially the man who was sitting behind the steering wheel .
"As long as you're Genesis Daniels then yes I am sure." He smiled at her and nodded at the end of his statement. "Please close the door." He spoke politely to her.
Genesis nodded dumbfoundedly by what was going on.
'He looks so handsome, like the men from fantasy novels.' She thought while staring straight ahead.
She didn't dare look at him but yet she could not get him off her mind, she took deep breaths and tried reading every traffic sign they came across.
While she was busy having a fever over him he was focused on driving and humming the lyrics of a song that was trapped in his head all day yesterday and he has carried it over to today.
'Look at those arms.' She sandwiched her lips while staring at him from the corner of her eyes.
Her phone rang interrupting the peacefulness of the drive. Genesis looked down at her phone. She rolled her eyes when she saw the caller ID which said 'Driver Ken'
"Yes Ken?." She said the moment she answered the call.
"I am at the front of your block, where are you?."
"On my way to work." She replied and ended the call angrily.
The moment she ended the call she went back to daydreaming of her sexy Uber driver who didn't pay any attention to her.
"End the ride." She signed.
The working day had just begun but she was already exhausted from the work stress she was about to begin.
Genesis ran up the stairs, she ran across the reception floor and slid into the elevator as though she had a pair of sneakers on. She pressed the button that had the number '4' engraved on it.
"Genesis you are late!." Her colleague told her while handing her a file.
Genesis walked alongside her, "I know that, when exactly is the meeting?."
"Now!!."
Genesis felt a heart ache when the words slipped out of her colleagues mouth, Genesis held on to the file and her bag while running towards the conference room, she could hear the voice of her boss who sounded angry as usual.
Genesis rolled her eyes at the sound of his bickering. She pushed the door inside and walked in.
"Good morning everyone." I spoke out loud with my head held up high, I placed one foot in front of the other without a smile on my face like a runway model.
"Late, late, late!!." Mr Gorge clicked his teeth.
Genesis turned her head slightly to get a glance at her boss's facial expression.
"Sorry sir, it won't happen again." Genesis apologized .
Just as the words stumbled out of her mouth she felt a sharp pain on the left side of her stomach that brought her down to her knees, tears ran down her eyes. The excruciating pain she felt made her yell.
Mr Gorge was fast enough to get on his knees and pull her up, her temper rose in seconds and she suddenly collapsed.
Mr Gorge cradled her in his arms as he ran out of the conference room.

I watched her place her cigarette in an ashtray and take a step closer while I continued dancing on the pole. I heard the sound of her palm hitting against each other as she applauded. “Get down.” She spoke with a stern voice and an unreadable look on her face. I wasn’t ready to argue with one of the highest paying customers so I did as she said. She turned her back towards me and walked into the darkness and I mindlessly followed her. I stood in the darkness without knowing what to expect and neither could I see her. It happened so fast and I felt my back pressing against the wall that was once across from where I previously stood. “I don’t like the way they stare and fantasise about your body.” She whispered and I couldn’t help but get turned on by how dominant she was. “But I love the way you gawk at me when you see me take off my robe but must especially when I dance.” I bit my lips trying to hold back my passion. ___ Sent by her stepmother to bring down Genevieve Rodríguez as an undercover agent for an old drug queen, Cattleya is found crazily in love with Genevieve, her dark knight. “I can’t do it!!.” Cattleya cried. “You can’t what!?.” Her step mother asked her angrily. Elodie took a deep breath and knocked, the sound echoing in the quiet corridor. A moment of silence passed, broken only by the pounding of her heart.
