Plain Jane

"Ma'm! Ma'm! Watch out!" Frantic voices screamed urgently as the screeching sound of a Mercedes Bentley came to an abrupt stop with a fragile looking lady frozen in front of it.
"What a crazy bitch!" He cursed in frustration winding down he peeked out of the car as his eyes widened in amazement at the unmoving lady.
"What shit is she trying to pull huhn let's see how it goes then." Restarting the engine he steered the car towards her direction all the more then suddenly she slumped while a crowd of hotel staffs gathered around her noisily, wailing for help.
"Serves her right for wasting my precious time." He muttered coldly moving into a parking space after which he alighted and walking past the commotion he created nonchalantly as he knew other pressing issues mattered gravely than some unconscious brunette lying annoyingly on the ground for no reason in broad daylight.
"Welcome Sir it's this way please." The chubby looking doorman courteously motioned to a direction.
Then almost immediately the entrance doorway bustled with racing employees holding up the lady that had fainted outside earlier.
"Today happens to be a fun day in here." He said sarcastically in a frigid baritone voice along with an expressionless face after glancing back at them, placing both hands in his pockets he idly turned away.
"After you Sir." The doorman watched patiently as the haughty young man dressed in expensive clothes wordlessly walked past him.
"Mr Buckley call the emergency team now oh my goodness this is all my fault." A petite looking blonde wearing blazers with sunglasses screamed at the doorman running behind the huddled employees and hurrying into the elevator.
"Yes Ma'm." The doorman replied rushing off to the adjacent room.

"You guys can leave I'll inform her folks myself." She waited for the employees to move out completely before fumbling for her cellphone.
"Where's the damn phone?" She cursed in frustration with her golden hair covering her face and taking her hand bag off her arm she emptied the content roughly on the floor.
"Goodness gracious looking like you could beat up the poor piece of civilization relax." She chuckled weakly at her friend's messy attitude lying on a make-believe hospital bed in a luxurious room filled with warm lightings.
"Well you look like you just escaped hell and I'm so sorry for being such a bi..... sorry a snub I might have overreacted a lil bit or more but are you really going to marry him Callie?" She asked worriedly stooping to pick out her cell phone from the pile of makeup, credit cards and perfumes littered on the floor.
"I know what you're trying to do but don't call them Chloe I really have to do this." Adjusting her spectacles while her blue eyes followed Chloe's motion to place a call.
"Seriously? What else should I not do? You're scaring me honey." Chloe's green eyes widened in disbelieve moving closer to the bed as she placed her fingers slightly brushing strands off Calista's face.
"I must meet him trust me everything's going to be fine and who knows he might just be my Prince Charming." She said cheerfully heaving herself up the bed to get off.
"And where are you going?" Chloe's perplexed tone rang out holding her back with both hands.
"To my blind date!" She suddenly blurted almost regretting immediately as her lips pressed tightly knowing what next to expect from her best friend.
"Don't tell me, today is D-day! wait did you just almost get ran over with your hair rumpled and looking like this?" Chloe rapped in total shock.
"I look just okay." Her slender fingers ran down her dress already upright, she grabbed her handbag in readiness.
"Don't let him see you like this it'll ruin our reputation as besties let me give you a complete make over come on." She assured in eagerness.
"See you later Chloe." Calista shouted delightedly rushing off to the door and knowingly fully well she wouldn't be let off so easily from her best friend's fashion lecture.
"Come back here Callie!" She yelled going after Calista but the door slammed just in time.
"I already hate that jerk." She mumbled blowing on her hair strand in exhaustion.

"So you're Calista Madison?" He repeated as his grey eyes scrutinized her almost shabby appearance and watching the way she brushed her ruffled chestnut brown hair timidly to the side of her face, wearing a dull looking floral dress with little or no jewelry her spectacles hung dutifully on her red nose giving off a nerdy vibe.
"Yes I am and I'd take it that we're already acquainted Jason Rodriguez." Stressing the last word that she almost bit her tongue in a comical manner while the corner of his lips twitched into a sly smile her heart skipped.
He did look much of the MD guy her grandfather had described even from the way he was seated she could tell he was a tall muscular guy with expensive tailored suit clung onto pair of broad shoulders, sharp pointed nose and daring grey eyes, gorgeous too.
"Don't be so formal aren't you the brown head that ran crazily in front of my car, ready to die twice in a roll." He teased watching her expression turn pale as he relaxed his back gracefully on the seat with the hotel's atmosphere seeming a little bit too romantic and soft jazz music blaring out of the speakers making him hate being there especially in front of this Plain Jane,he cursed silently.
"I wouldn't want to put it like that anyway it's obvious we won't even pass off as friends in the future so it'll both be in our best interest to reject this marriage I mean you precisely." She said politely despite her heartbeat pounding vigorously at the sight of the cold hearted man that she was seated in front of made her shiver, sipping on her iced tea for nerve relief he shifted in his seat.
"In other words you want to use me how bold of you." Jason retorted amused by the audacity of this nerdy looking brunette then he took out a file from his briefcase gingerly slipping it to her side of the table.
"I call the shots here sign it." He didn't know why but this timid-looking brunette excited him oddly and most importantly she wasn't boing him.
Then a loud splatter of glasses reverberated throughout the lounge,
"Heyyy!
