Ophelia Everest wanted to find and kill that one person who had said from the start that first love don't work out.
How dare that person jinxed her relationship?
Layla paused as she thought of this.
Was it really that one person that jinxed her relationship? Or was she the only one immersed in this relationship of hers?
How come she was so blind?
Blind enough not to see the red light and clues.
Many questions were running through her mind but no answers, she really needed answer.
She really needed someone who could give her answers to her questions.
Tears trickled doen her cheeks as she remembered the discussion and event that had happen 45 minutes ago.
45 minutes ago...
" You're getting engaged?" Ophelia ask, hint of happiness could be heard In the tiny sweet voice of hers.
"Yes " Fiona answered nodding guiltily.
" Woah, who is he? Do I know him? Your mystery boyfriend who you still refuse to tell me his name or show me to him?" Ophelia asked, obviously she knew the answers but just wanted to check fact.
Fiona had been going on with the mystery boyfriend of hers, whom she ( Ophelia ) knows nothing about.
Most time late night text, video call, numerous dates, shanshan talks about him a lot but had refuse to show her ( Ophelia ) who the guy is.
" But I'm really gonna show him to you now, please don't get too shock and rey to understand" Fiona said with that guilty look in her eyes.
"Really? " Ophelia sky blue eyes lit up curiously with excitement, she couldn't believe Fiona is finally going to show her to the man whom she talks about a lot.
She had asked her to show him to her countless times but Fiona is always coming up with different excuses that makes no sense. But this time she volunteerily wanted to show him to her now.
" Dearest Fiona , what are you talking about, I'm so excited to finally get to be meeting the guy you love so much" Ophelia squealed happily.
Fiona suddenly stood up slowly and walked to towards the door.
Ophelia sat down anticipating so eagerly, her patience was running out she badly wanted to meet the infamous guy.
Fiona heaved down heavily before summoning up courage to open the door.
The door squeaked in opening and slowly revealed a 4.2 cm tall man.
He was putting on a navy blue suit on with buttons, the suit shown how well it has been ironed, his long feet was claded in a black shiny Toluse shoes, giving him the pass of a a gentle man.
His face could pass an average model, his black hair was styled and gelled making him look splendid.
He stood there shining like an hero .
" Francis " Ophelia squealed happily as she saw him.
" You came just right in time, Fiona was just about to show me to her anonymous man, come in, you can meet him too" Ophelia happy voice urged the man in.
But just as if he didn't heard her speak, or he wasn't the one she was talking to, he stood still avoiding Ophelia, his gaze were fixed on the pretty Fiona.
" Honey " she yelled and rushed into Francis's arms like she had been expecting him.
" Are you okay ?" Francis asked as he bent to Fiona's height before giving her a kiss on her forehead.
Ophelia sat there Gobsmacked as she watch her boyfriend being intimate with her elder sister .
" Is something wrong here?"
She could accept the fact that Francis was drunk again but is Fiona also drunk.
Of course not.
" What's going on here ?" Ophelia asked confusedly as she stared at Fiona and Francis.
" Sorry sister.. this is actually my fiance Francis, we are getting engaged the day after tomorrow because I'm pregnant " Fiona said and turned to smile at Francis .
" Wait --- what do you mean?" Ophelia questioned as her eyes turned red and a bang of headache hit her from no where.
"Look Ophelia , you're not the woman for me, I've tried to cope up with your boring nature, but I just can't, I can't anymore, I've been looking for a way to tell you this, I mean I've been giving you clues and signals just for you to see that I'm tired of you but you're just too dumb to understand, look Ophelia, your sister is pregnant with my baby and she's the one I love, we're getting engaged, it's a good thing right? " Francis confessed ending his abrupt confession with a smile before turning to face the grinning fiona .
" Sister, you're also invited, I'll leave a spot for you" Fiona blurted to Ophelia , happiness clearly in her voice.
The guiltiness in her eyes were now erased and nowhere to be found.
Ophelia sat still astound as she stared at the two people in front of her.
Two people in front of her..
Is this a dream?
Is this some nightmare that won't come to existence.
This was Francis paige, her boyfriend and this was also her sister Fiona Everest..
Her sister and her boyfriend...
Did Francis just said she's not the woman for him ?
She was too dumb to take the clues that Francis had given that he was tired of her.
She glanced at the pair of two who were smiling at each other
