When the most mysterious Mrs. Austin showed up in New York again, it became a trending topic on social media. Mrs. Austin was charged with attempted murder by driving the car that hit her husband's lover, and she was sent to prison. Alberto Austin stood outside the prison for days, but he only got the bodies of Mrs. Austin and a baby boy. Six years later... Martha Doyle came back, but she was no longer Mrs. Austin. And she was holding a beautiful little girl's hand. When Martha met Alberto again, she was smiling. "Mr. Austin, I am married. Please behave yourself." Alberto replied, "Yes, you are married, but I'm single. So it doesn't stop me from pursuing you." Martha was speechless.
Outside the operating theater
"I didn't, Alpha Landen, I didn't," a pleading voice with irregular sobs came, "Trust me, I didn't push your mother. It was Alyssa Nelson who pushed her... Alyssa did..."
Aaliyah begged. Her face was full of blood. When she raised her head, her teary eyes met Alpha Laden's cold ones. After seeing his deadly stare, her voice trembled.
Her lips dried and the moment she started speaking again, Alpha Landen reached out his hand and grabbed Aaliyah's slender neck with killing intent in his eyes.
"Do you mean Alyssa pushed my mother and killed herself to slander you?" He asked in a gravelly, dangerous and narrow tone.
Aaliyah kept trying hard to pull Alpha Landen's hands away from her neck but miserably failed.
Deep in her heart, she knew that the man who was standing in front of her was never going to believe her.
Her face was extremely red but she still smiled with her teary eyes and said, "I don't care whether Alyssa is dead or not. But nobody can change the fact that it was her who pushed your mother. If she dies, that will be her retribution."
Her words were stern and there was an indescribable expression on her face.
"Is this your retribution if I strangle you to death now?" Alpha Landen said in a mocking tone. "Alpha Landen, why don't you believe me?" Aaliyah roared.
When he didn't reply to her and kept his hands intact around her neck. He looked so dangerous, like a devil from hell.
"Aaliyah, why should I believe you?" He paused and then shouted the same question again,
"Why should I believe you?"
Aaliyah bit her lower lips, and she started feeling suffocated due to inhalation of less air.
When she thought that she was going to die the next moment. The door of the operating room was pushed open.
Without wasting time, Alpha Landen threw Aaliyah to the ground. Aaliyah hit the wall on the head, and blood started oozing from her forehead. When she was trying to stand up, Aaliyah heard the pitiful doctor's voice, "I'm sorry. When Mrs. Maddison fell, she hit directly on her head. That's why she died due to a serious intracranial hemorrhage. As for Ms. Nelson, her surgery is successful, but she is still in danger."
The news was dreadful, and Aaliyah understood that her coming days weren't going to be easy. She was about to turn around but stopped in her tracks when the doctor hesitated to say something more.
"Mr. Maddison was tightly holding this picture in her hand, please have a look," The doctor then handed a photo, which Luna Jessica was holding in her hand, to Alpha Landen.
Alpha Landen took the crumpled photo and then opened it. Two people were entangled with each other in the photo. Alpha Landen turned to look at Aaliyah and a hint of hatred flashed past his eyes. "Aaliyah, I never knew that you will be so cheap," he said distastefully. . Her face turned pale. Then Alpha Landen threw the crumpled photo away, and it fell to the ground.
Aaliyah frowned, and her eyes fell on the same picture and she froze right on the spot. She shuddered with coldness caused by astonishment and fear.
When she focused on it, she realized that the people in the photo were Aaliyah and Ronald Maddison, Alpha Landen's elder brother.
Aaliyah thought, when did this happen? Who had clicked that photo? Before Aaliyah came to her senses, Alpha Landen grabbed her neck again. Then he leaned forward and said in a low voice, "Aaliyah, did you kill my mother because of this?"
"No, I didn't. I didn't push Mrs. Maddison. I don't know where this photo came from. I don't know..." Aaliyah shouted at the top of her lungs, "You know that you are the only one I love."
"Love?" Alpha Landen sneered with disgust in his eyes, and continued, "You slept with Ronald when I was still lingering in the shadow of death. Is that how you love me?"
"No..." Aaliyah's face was already pale and she tried her best to hold back her tears.
She didn't allow herself to show a trace of weakness. No! She was not going to give him the satisfaction, so she added further, "Do you forget that I saved you three years ago? In that cabin in the mountain village, we..."
When she started Alpha Landen suddenly stopped her and shouted, "You got something out of Alyssa, didn't you? You believe in your lies, don't you?"
"I don't lie, but Alyssa does. How could she be the one who saved you? How could it be her?" Aaliyah raised her head and said stubbornly, "Alpha Landen, I am the one who saved you..."
"Unrepentant," Before Aaliyah finished her sentence, Alpha Landen said with anger in his eyes, "Aaliyah, a vicious woman like you should stay in hell forever."
Aaliyah looked up at the man, whom she had loved for ten years and protected with her life, and a sardonic smile suddenly appeared on her face.
Suddenly, a sharp pain came from her scalp.
She was wincing in pain. Her eyes were tightly closed. That's when Alpha Laden strode towards her, pulled her hair, dragged her to the door of the operating room, and then kicked her to the ground.
While lying on the ground, she touched her knees which was paining like hell but didn't complain at all.
Alpha Landen stood in front of Aaliyah like a devil from hell. "Aaliyah, you owe my mother and Alyssa. You will pay the price." Aaliyah knelt on the ground and suddenly felt a chill that almost froze her heart.
"I will make your life a living hell." He threatened her.
Then, Alpha Landen told his man to bring the bond-breaking papers to the hospital. After a while, he threw the papers on the ground for Aaliyah to sign.
"Do you want to reject me?" Aaliyah's face was pale. She was probably the only Luna who got rejected on her Coronation day. She laughed at her misery.
"I, Landen Maddison, reject you, Aaliyah Capper, to be my mate," Alpha Landen said coldly while
kneeling on the ground, Aaliyah looked up at Alpha Landen and asked stubbornly, "Alpha Landen, have you ever loved me over the past ten years?"
Tears were constantly falling down her cheeks. The memories of the last ten years started flashing in front of her eyes.
"Never," he said with such ease that it pained Aaliyah's heart.
The expression on his face deepened. Only then did Aaliyah realize that the most powerful weapon in the world was such a word.
"I wasted ten years of love and devotion for nothing," she thought. Then she knelt on the ground, signed the bond-breaking papers, and then burst into laughter.
Her mocking and hurtful laughter sounded abrupt in front of the operating room. However, Aaliyah was laughing at her own destiny. "Alpha Landen, I have loved you and mated with you for ten years. Now I know clearly that my love over the past years is only a joke.
From now on, I, Aaliyah, am no longer bonded to you, Alpha Landen. I accepted your rejection," she sternly replied.
With a sneer, Alpha Landen said nothing to Aaliyah but made a call.
Soon, the warrior appeared.
"Who is Aaliyah Capper?"
Aaliyah, who was kneeling, raised her head and saw him coming towards her.
Then, a pair of cold handcuffs were put around her wrists. Behind the warrior, a group of reporters were standing. They were clicking photos and shooting videos with their cameras. This scene caused quite a stir in the hospital.
"I heard that the eldest daughter of the Newmoon Pack killed her mother-in-law and Alpha Landen's lover."
"It's true. Mrs. Maddison's remains are still in the operating room."
"What a vicious woman!"
Aaliyah listened to those harsh and baseless comments quietly.
Her gaze were cold and her orbs were fixed at Alpha Landen and she asked, "Do you hate me this much?"
"Tit for tat. You killed my mother," Alpha Landen said with a smile.
"I didn't. I haven't killed anybody ..." Aaliyah roared. She struggled with all her might but failed to break free from the warrior.
Alpha Landen looked at Aaliyah, who was under the control of the warrior, "Aaliyah, spend the rest of your life to atone for your crime."
His words were as icy as snow. They left deep marks in her mind.
After listening to that, Aaliyah threw back her head, laughed, and roared at Alpha Landen, "I didn't kill anybody . Why should I atone for my crime? The one who should atone for her sins is Alyssa. That bitch..."
Without hesitation, Alpha Landen raised his hand, and a slap with a loud thud landed on her face, and roared, "Aaliyah, go to hell..."
"I will drag Alyssa down with me even if I die," Aaliyah said in a challenging tone and then added further, "Alpha Landen, I hope that you won't find out the truth for the rest of your life. When the truth comes to light, you will know that you are the one who badly hurt me. You let me down, you let me down..."
The warrior held Aaliyah down, then nodded to Alpha Landen, and took her away. Countless flashes were in front of Aaliyah, and those reporters recorded the most awful moment of Aaliyah.
Alpha Landen kept standing at his position. He wanted to say something but the moment he met Aaliyah's bloodshot eyes, no words came out of his mouth.
With a beautiful smile on her face, Aaliyah said softly, "Alpha Landen, the only thing I regret the most in my life is that I loved you. If there is a next life, I don't want to see you again."
Aaliyah thought, ten years of infatuation turned out to be a one-man show. He never trusted her. That is why he gave her a death sentence without investigation.
"Only I, myself, get moved by all those I have done for him over the years," she thought.
"Alpha Landen, you owe me too much,"
The smile on her face was peerless and impressed the others.
The crowd dispersed. A cool breeze came. Alpha Landen walked towards the window. There were complex emotions in his eyes, Alpha Landen watched Aaliyah get into the warrior car.
He firmly believed that this ending was what Aaliyah deserved. That was her retribution. He thought. Alpha Landen remembered the last sentence Aaliyah had said and felt that something had disappeared and could never return.

He was the only man who touched her right, and the crazy man took no small pains in ensuring he would be the last.
