He had promised his mother that he was going to marry the girl of her choice; however, fate has played a twist when he falls in love with Sophie Gomez, and thus he has forgotten about his long-term vow to his late mother.

The story begins when Selena returns home after five years of staying away. Her parents welcome her back with smiles and all.

Unknown to her, fate has taken a twist in her life. Thus, when she is about to tell her parents about her engagement to someone that she is in love with, They bring up a topic about her marriage, which actually surprises her.

She is shocked when she hears the news of her marriage to a man she has never seen. Her parents insist on the marriage, and thus she has no other choice than to marry the billionaire " frederick milton "

Selena is married to Frederick in a loveless marriage. As she finds out about his death, she is devastated and shocked as she looks at his obituary paper right in front of her.

She vows to seek revenge on whoever the preparator is, unknown to her the perpetrator is someone really close .

Yes, both Selena and Frederick enter into a loveless marriage based on the reasons or facts that are best known to each of them.

Selena and Frederick have both fallen in love as they leave their past relationship far behind them .

However, in another vein, Sophia [Alexander's past ex] is deeply obsessed with him; she is shocked and broken when he breaks up with her, as he now claims that he loves his wife "Selena".

Sophie leaves Frederick's life for good, not until the day when she resurfaces, determined to get him back. She merges forces with Alexander:Selena's past ex.

He ( alexander shan ) agrees to fake date Sophie in order to make both (Fredrick and Selena) jealous . He is actually determined to get his girlfriend back since he is still deeply in love with her .

However, during their course for making the latter get jealous both ( Alexander and Sophia ) plan a mastermind in order to get their loved ones back .

Selena leaves the house, and she is determined not to come back home. She learns a bitter truth when she learns that In the meantime, she meets her ex-boyfriend Alexander as they rekindle old flames once again, thus bringing them back together again.

In the background, Sophia tries her best to win her once hot boyfriend, but he doesn't give her a chance to stay happy in his life as he sends her out of his house.

Climax Showdown, Mica: Alexander, once perceiving a dead sister, comes back to the house after she loses her memory and concurrently meets her brother.

Denouement

Frederick feels remorse and guilt as he realizes he is the cause of the pain he had caused " selena " .

He realizes he is actually the mastermind behind the death of " Noah" ( Selena's brother ) .

Thus, he goes in search of her in order to beg for both forgiveness, redemption, and love.

However, when he finds Selena, he meets Alexander, her ex-boyfriend.

Frederick is determined to make her his once again and to love her passionately.

Both Alexander and Frederick fall into a huge fight for Selena's heart. However, Selena's love for Frederick has started to burn slowly.

She forgives him and lets the bygones be bygones .

Thus, she goes back to Frederick not as an arranged bride but as his lover .
