LUXURY POV
"Divorce," I read, looking at the paper, I couldn't help but laugh, it was the only thing I could do since I couldn't cry anymore.
"So, you two have finally decided to let me go?" I asked, laughing a bit. "Sign it and get out," he demanded, gritting his teeth.
Without hesitation, I signed it, throwing it on the floor once I was done. "Are you happy now?" I asked.
"Very," he replied, almost immediately. "Good," I muttered. "So, how did you plan on killing me?" I asked, taking him aback by my questions.
"You think I wouldn't know, if I'm dead, your grandfather had no choice but to finally allow you to marry Ava,"
"Isn't that why you locked me up the moment you found out I was pregnant, or why you paid the doctors off and why you plan to get rid of me tonight, because it's the only chance you would get," I explained, he grinned, dropping his gun and clapping his hands.
"So then, since you figure it out, I will let you choose your death, how do you intend to die?" He coldly asked after the clap.
"After everything I did," I mumbled. "I tried Michael, I really tried to make this work, I let you bring her in even when you were married to me, I tried knowing your hobbies, I tried pleasing you,"
"And what did I get in return, humiliating, torture and abuse," I listed. "You would strip me naked and flog me in front of your staff, you would let Ava pour ice water to make things worst, you would rape me, thousand of time, you would treat me, like I'm trash," I said, finally crying out
"You asked how you want to kill me, didn't you?" "Well, you can do anything you want but know this, a day would come, that would regret everything, that you would be haunted and you will seek my forgiveness, but heaven knows that you will never get it, dead or alive," I warned.
"Oh shut it, you knew how this was going to end, you deserve everything you got, the day you tried selling my companies secret out, I'm even regretting not torturing you enough, I should have left you scars, that could be marked down to your bones," he muttered, shaking his head in regret.
" Ava was the one I love, not you, " he complained. " And I let her be your mistress, I let you have fun with her on our wedding night, I let you bring her here," I snapped back.
" Yet, you only use me to get your bloody company and now you want to ditch me, but that's fine, because I know you will regret it," I mumbled, my voice cracking up at this point.
" I was already sick of this pretending to be your grandfather and I was sick of the suffering," I added, taking my phone and walking out.
I didn't bother carrying much, it was no use to drag any load when today would be my last day.
The road was quiet as I walked, not knowing where I was going. It was unusual for the street to be this quiet,no matter the time and I was guessing it was his handwork.
Finally tired, I decided to cross, seeing a chair opposite. It all happened in a flash. One minute, I was wanting to sit down and the next minute, I was slamming the floor, after rolling the car.
No headlight, no horn, it was definitely Michael. And indeed, I was correct, as the driver got out, a smirk on his face as he saw my condition as he came close.
"And to make sure the work is complete," He says, squatting in front me, his hand pulling my head and smashing it hard, blurring my vision.
"That's not how to treat a pregnant woman or at least kill the child first," Another male voice complained, making me realize he wasn't alone.
Slowly looking round, I could see they were a lot, each of them using their car to form a barricade.
The one that spoke, was already in front of me, using his legs to march my stomach.
"Now see, in that way, we know that no one will suffer," He smirk once he was done as warm flowed out, followed by a sharp pain in my stomach.
My child was gone and soon I would join him. Closing my eyes, I let the numb feelings take over, I slowly awaited death.
MICHAEL POV.
"Just in, Mrs. King was involved in a fatal accident, putting her in a coma....,".
"A coma," Ava repeated from the tv. "I thought you were going to kill her?" She muttered, biting her lips and I knew she was trying to prevent herself from crying.
"Baby," I softly called. "Don't," She snapped. "You don't love me Michael, if you do she would be dead, I thought we were supposed to be together, but now there is a high chance of her surviving,
"Relax," I calmly tell her. "Look, she has a thirty percent chance of survival, she needs to be on life support. After four days, I will send someone to cut her oxygen, so calm my dear, she will die and we will get to be together," I assured, pulling her in for a hug.
"I'm sorry, I overreacted," She apologizes. "You don't need to dear but never doubt my love for you," I said, while patting her hair.
Resting her head on my lap, it didn't take her long before she fell asleep. "Thomas," I called out, slowly releasing myself from her grip.
He understood what to do, carrying her up and making sure she was sleeping comfortably.
I, on the other hand, had goons to take care of. The stupid set of humans that couldn't do their job well.
Seeing them tied up and badly beating somehow comforted my soul. "You were supposed to quietly wait, till she was dead, wasn't that the plan?" I yelled, watching them nod their head.
"We thought she was dead, she has lost quiet a lot of blood, we didn't," one decided to explain. Earning him a bullet in his skull.
"Don't talk, unless I give you permission to," I warned the rest. "As you guys, I decided to wait, till you guys are dead also, meaning no food, no water and I will slowly release carbon in the room, till each on of you is actually dead,"
"I'm teaching you how to do your job," I said, leaving the room and shutting the door, ignoring their helpless cry.
"Sir," Thomas called, the moment I was out. "You need to be in the hospital," He informed me.
"Any news from the old man?" I asked, heading back in to collect my key's. "I will check on that," He replied.
"No need, I want to send you someplace else," I informed. "You will go and pick up something for me and make it fast," I instructed as we headed to my room, writing the address down and giving it to him.
It was a week's journey, but knowing him, I knew he would beat it down to four or three days, that was why I had chosen him.
"Alright sir," He said with a bow, before leaving. "Where are you going?" Ava asked, making me realize she was half awake.
"To the hospital, the old man would be coming soon, so I need to be there," I explained.
"I will be back by tomorrow at most," I assured, dropping my card for her. "Take care love," She slowly mumbled, closing her eyes.
"I will," I whispered, planting a kiss on her forehead. With this, I set off, with the determination to get this over with.
Arriving at the hospital, I was surprised to find him already at the hospital, seated close to her, while holding her hand.
"She didn't deserve this Michael," Grandfather whispered slowly. "I know it you, this could be the only doing of Michael king," He went on.
"Well, it was all your fault, I told you I didn't love her, you pushed this marriage, too bad she is the only one who gets to pay for it," I replied, sitting across.
"You are indeed your father's son," He muttered. "Please, don't bring my father into this, she wasn't all that innocent, she nearly sold out our company secret files, she was a gold digger and I did punish her," I snapped, slowly getting angry.
"So I can now marry Ava, I fulfilled the condition of the will by getting married to her and now we are divorce, with she signing everything back to me," I said, showing him the divorce papers.
"Get out," He yelled. I couldn't help but smile, knowing in the end, he lost and I won.
"Gladly, I have a girl at home that I need to propose to," with this, I left, off to celebrate my freedom.
I didn't even need to wait for him to come, I didn't need to stay at the hospital for too long, I didn't need to pretend to care about her condition.
I was happy with the way things worked out. "Now time to surprise Ava," I muttered as I thought of ways to propose to her this evening.
I was excited by the fact that she would bear my last name. I finally decided a date in a restaurant would be nice, thus I decided to park my car outside, since we would be going out.
Walking down from the gate, imagining her reaction when she knows we can finally get married.
To my surprise all the servants and guards was nowhere to be found. From the window, I could see Ava, seated on the couch, the remote in one hand and her phone in the other.
She wanted to make a call and I eagerly bought my phone out, knowing it was me she would call.
I imagine answering the call while staring through the window, to my surprised it wasn't me as a deep male phone answer.
"Her baby," She called, dropping the phone on the table, wanting to pour herself a glass of wine..
"Is he around?" The voice asked. "He won't be, till tomorrow," She replies. "He went to see his dying wife," She mocked, laughing to her sick joke.
"And don't worry, I sent the servant out," She assured, explaining why there wasn't anyone around.
"Poor Luxury, I would have left her, but she threatened to expose me and I only had to rush the plan," She continued, putting the phone right back.
"Relax babe, Michael loves me to a fault, he is obsessed with me, I have the powerful Mafia at the tip of my fingers," She boasted, her words coming as a blow.
"How about I come see you tomorrow, it's been so long, I miss you, I love you so much, I can't wait till everything is over," She confessed, her voice going low.
Taking aback by her words, I didn't notice when my phone fell from my hands, alerting her as she looked at the window, her face pale as she saw me.
"Ava," I muttered in disbelief.

"You're mine, little puppy," Kylan growled against my neck. A soft gasp escaped my lips as his lips brushed my skin. He pressed his lips against mine, and his kiss grew more aggressive, more possessive as I felt my legs weaken. What was I doing? In a split-second, I pulled away and slapped him hard across the face. Kylan's eyes darkened, but the smirk on his lips exposed his amusement. "You and I both know we can't fight this, Violet," he said, gripping my wrist. "You're my mate." "And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
