Twins Hernan and Gabriela Montes De Alba, are born to Gabriel Montes De Alba and his wife, Rebecca Lopez Montes De Alba. Gabriel is the heir to Montes De Alba inc, a company involved in the production of food and food related products. Rebecca cant handle giving birth to the twins and dies a few days later. Carlos Diaz, a senior executive at Montes De Alba, inc, who has always had secret ambitions of taking over the company, brings in Helena Alvarez, his secret lover, a year later, to seduce and marry Gabriel, which she does, when the twins are 2. The next year ,Helena receives news that her brother, Adrian and his wife Paulina died in a car accident, that leaves their only child, 2, year old Adrianna with mild injuries. Gabriel tells Helena that her niece can live with them. Meanwhile, one of Carlos exes Rosa Isela, dies of cancer, leaving behind, a 3 year old son Antonio. Carlos and Helena bid their time, as they learn about Montes De Alba inc. When the twins, turn 6 years, Helena and Carlos, start planning to actualize their plans to kill Gabriel. Helena however decides to get pregnant before killing her husband. She manages to convince Carlos to delay their plans for killing Gabriel. Gabriel is overjoyed and Carlos is furious, about the pregnancy. When Helena is four months pregnant, she and Carlos kill Gabriel. Helena gives birth 5 months later, to a daughter. To reduce suspicion they wait for some time. During a trip to an isolated forest resort ,they leave the twins in the middle of the forest, and they are found by Armando and Luisa, a couple who lives in a nearby small town. Hernan and Gabriela are taken in by Armando, Luisa and their family. Through it all, they will get through everything, because they have each other and they share a bond that is so strong and unbreakable.
