As the months passed, Elena worked tirelessly to regain Smith's love and affection. She showered him with attention, and she began to win him back. Emma, on the other hand, grew increasingly desperate, knowing that she was losing the man she had manipulated and controlled. And so, the battle for Smith's heart continued, with Elena and Emma each determined to win him over. The outcome was far from certain, as the two women fought for the love of the man they both adored. But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks turned into months, it became clear that only one woman could truly win Smith's heart. The question was, who would it be? Elena, the loyal and loving wife, or Emma, the manipulative and controlling seductress? The fate of their love story hung in the balance, as the two women engaged in a fierce and passionate battle for the heart of the man they both loved. Only time would tell who would emerge victorious, and who would be left to pick up the pieces of a shattered heart.
The hall was filled with many dignitaries as the heir to the Brandson industries is said to be getting married to a country girl. The atmosphere was filled with happiness and the music was played in the background. A man was seen to be on the stage, clapping his hands to call the attention of the people while he was holding the microphone.
"We are all here to celebrate with the family of Smith Brandson and Elena Helen as today is a day of joy as the knot will be tied between the two families. And as we can see, the couple looks beautiful, doesn't it?" The man in the suit said with a smile on his face. People were seen laughing and clapping for the couple coming to the main stage.
Smith was smiling at his beautiful wife as he couldn't get enough of how beautiful she was. The couple held their hands together as the knot was about to be tied but this was caught short as her chief bridesmaid came up in the same wedding dress as Elena presenting a drive to the Master of Ceremony and a shocking video was seen by all.
The audience was shocked at the sight of the absence video, they began to murmur among one another while the bride tried to defend herself.
"Elena, there is nothing that you can say that will make you innocent, this is you with Smith's uncle right before your wedding. You are a thief, you are not worthy of Smith. It's okay, despicable things are hereditary which is why you did this shameful act just like your father." Emma said as she approached the main stage.
"Smith, look, it's not what you think. I can explain, please listen... Elena tried to explain but was cut short with a slap by her Smith.
"Who is there? Take this bitch outside." Smith ordered and watched two hefty men carry Elena outside.
"I can't believe she did this," Smith screamed.
"Smith, I have known Elena for a long time. She has always been a bitch, taking what does not belong to her. I guess old habits die hard." Emma said as she rubbed Smith's back as a way of consoling him.
"No, No, No...I didn't do it...." Elena cried out from her sleep, hearing the voice of his fiance, Smith ran towards her bed in fear.
"What's wrong? Drink this water." He passed her a glass of water to drink.
"I had the weirdest of dreams."
"Weird? What could it be?" Smith asked as he rubbed her back gently and smoothly.
"You called off the wedding ceremony due to a paparazzi that broke out," Elena said with her hands trembling as she remembered the events that played out vividly.
Holding her hands to calm her down, her fiancee Smith said "Don't worry. Nothing like that will happen. You are my love and I will spend the rest of my life with you" kissing her on her soft and tender lips.
"I trust you," Elena said but Smith was interrupted with a call and quickly excused himself.
"Don't forget, tomorrow is our wedding and you have to look perfect for the day. See you at 5. Dinner time." Smith said as he dashed out of the house.
Trying to figure out what the dream was all about, she remembered his words and then muttered "It's just a dream. Stupid dream." Waving the dream aside, she got down from the bed, took her shower, and prepared herself as she had a meeting with a client even though Smith did not want her to work, she felt she had to support him with all she had. After staring at the huge mirror before her to see which dress was perfect, she headed outside, driving the red SUV given to her by Smith on her 24th birthday anniversary. A smile beamed on her face as she could recall those sweet moments. She rode to the restaurant to meet with her client.
"Mr. Albert, I am so sorry I am late," She said as she extended her hands towards the middle-aged white man in a suit sitting opposite her direction having a cappuccino.
"Miss Helen?" He said looking confused as he stretched out his hands to receive the handshake.
Elena smiled and corrected the confused man standing before her.
"It's Elena. My mum is Helen and I know I look so much like her." She said as she rolled her eyes.
"Yes, you look a lot like her. Your mum and I were best friends in school and I will be happy to help you with whatever you need." He said holding her hands and patting her gently.
"I need.............."
"Honey, I am home. And guess what, I got you something." Smith said as he removed his coat and gently laid it on the white sofa chair in the sitting room he headed towards the kitchen as he could hear the sounds coming from that area as well as the aroma.
"I am ...coming, my love. I am almost done in the kitchen." She said as she was engulfed in the smoke from a burnt chicken fry, coughing from the aftermath of the burnt meal.
"What do you know how to do? My beloved wife." He said as he gently removed the burnt fry from the fire and helped her out of the kitchen but could not help but laugh at her appearance.
"What? Why are you laughing?" She asked, feeling ashamed.
"You look beautiful no matter what." He said gently holding her arms and locking eyes with her.
"Smith, tomorrow is our wedding and we are going to spend the rest of our lives together," Elena said, holding his hands.
"Me, too"

Billionaire Bennett Graham urgently needed a wife to close a business deal but his fiancée wasn't ready to tie the knots yet. So his grandmother picked the most unassuming maid for him. Everything was supposed to go incredibly well, and all he had to do was wait until he divorced her a year later. But after seeing Maliyah's ocean eyes.it wasn't looking simple anymore. *** Before I could get her up, it was as if she felt the light and an uncomfortable sound came out of her mouth. "Uh-huh..." She raised her hand to cover her eyes. But I didn't have time to wait for her to wake up, so I told her to "Get Up." My voice seemed to scare her, and her light-fearing eyes suddenly widened and she kept moving to the corner. The only voice in the quiet art room was her fear-filled voice, "No...please...go away...don't come close to me." She was afraid of me? I hadn't even spoken to her before, what was she afraid of? This was definitely not going to work, I couldn't talk to her if she couldn't calm down. Then I moved closer to her, my hand on her trembling shoulder, and I whispered soothingly "Calm down.I'm not going to hurt you.I'm not going to hurt you."I assured and then she moved her hair away from her face as if to stare at me properly. Our eyes met.It was that moment. It felt as if I was enchanted for a moment. Those ocean eyes were the most beautiful eyes I've ever seen.
