Freya Lawson, who grew up in the countryside, married a disabled man from the Austin family. Her husband was not only physically disfigured but also blind. Rumors circulated that he was heartless and had no interest in women. On their wedding night, Freya had had enough of his constant harassment and told him, "Bradley Austin, it's been said that you are incapable in doing that." "Do you want to find out for yourself?" smirked the man. Everyone laughed at them, saying that a mentally challenged person and an ugly monster were a match made in heaven. Bradley Austin, on the other hand, removed his glasses and mask and got out of his wheelchair just as everyone began laughing hysterically at them. Suddenly, all of the city's women fell in love with him. It was surprising for everyone to learn that the man once thought to be disabled and hideous was, in fact, the most desirable man in town. "Who said my wife is blind?" Bradley said coldly as he embraced Freya. Freya revealed herself to be a mysterious doctor, a master of hypnosis, a famous singer, and even the leader of a secretive organization. They joined forces as a couple to confront and punish evildoers. Freya fiercely guarded her husband, and Bradley's love for his wife was limitless. "Darling," says Freya, "I want to eat candy." "I am sweeter than candy," Bradley replies. "Try a bite of me." And the end result... Freya Lawson couldn't get out of bed and had to clutch her waist all day long.
As night fell on the mansion where the Lawson family resided in Wrocester, Freya Lawson pushed open the doors and heard a scream from the living room.
"Mum! Why has the Austin family sent so many engagement gifts? The jewelry and diamonds alone are worth a fortune, let alone the billion-dollar contract. We not only get rid of a knucklehead, but also cashing in big time!" Freya exclaimed.
Freya took a look around the living room and noticed the numerous pieces of expensive jewelry and designer clothing, the total value of which was about a million dollars. She couldn't help but be impressed by the opulence. The Austin family lived up to their reputation as the city's most wealthy family, flaunting their wealth even in engagement gifts, even though they allowed Freya to marry into their family to break a curse.
"Hush, don't say that! She's back!" Sophie Lawson, Freya's stepmother, glanced at the door and exchanged a knowing look with Lola Lawson after she saw Freya coming.
Lola was unimpressed and sneered as she wore some jewelry she had taken from the table, "She's just a retard! She wouldn't understand a word I said even if she heard me."
Sophie reprimanded her quietly, "Even a mad dog will bite, let alone a living person. You'd better behave and not cause any trouble before she married."
Lola rolled her eyes and ignored the warning. She didn't take it seriously because all of these gifts would be hers after Freya got married. She had nothing anything to lose.
Sophie, despite her aversion to Freya, approached her. She pretended to care about Freya as she said, "Freya, you must be tired. I made you dinner. Why don't you take a shower now? I'll have someone bring you your dinner soon."
Freya nodded silently and proceeded to her "room" as usual, but Sophie hastily stopped her after she had taken only two steps.
"You must sleep in your own room tonight because the Austins will pick you up the following day. I'll make sure you're dressed to the nines for your wedding."
With a goofy grin, Freya said, "Freya is getting married! Freya is going to make a beautiful bride.
She seemed overjoyed as she jumped up the stairs.
Lola sneered as she saw how cheerful Freya was, "Idiot! Why should she be happy when her future husband is a ugly freak?"
"Lola, please deliver the meal to Freya's room now," Sophie gave the order, concerned that her daughter would ruin her perfect plan.
The Austins told Sophie that they would only sign the billion-dollar contract with her after Freya got married. She knew she must cherish Freya and treat her well until that time came.
Lola grumbled to her mother, "Mom, can't you see I'm trying on new clothes? Why don't you just have the servant bring it to her?'
Sophie approached Lola, snatched the clothes from her grasp, and exclaimed, "Just go! Everything she gets after she got marries will be yours, so you need to butter her up. But if she becomes greedy and hard to control someday, you'll definitely regret it.'
After hearing this, Lola reluctantly went to the kitchen to get the food.
Freya stood by the railing on the second floor at the same time, overhearing the conversation downstairs. She clearly heard every word. Her eyes were clear, making her appear clever rather than the fool she had just pretended to be.
She realized then that Lawsons had brought her to town because they intended to marry her into the wealthy Austin family.
Freya gave a gentle smile.
"Do you want me to make a sacrifice for you in order to bring in money? You wish!" she thought to herself.
Lola came upstairs with the meal while Freya was thinking, so she regained her silly expression and made her way to her room.
Freya, your dinner is ready. Please come and eat." Lola forced a smile on her face as she served Freya her meal.
The dishes in the bowl were a vibrant red, and the room was filled with the pungent aroma of chili sauce.
Lola did it on purpose. She had purposefully poured almost an entire jar of chili sauce into it to tease Freya because she wanted to see her make a fool of herself.
She enjoyed teasing Freya since they were both little girls. The joy she felt inside whenever she saw Freya cry out in pity was beyond words.
Lola acted this way because she was envious of Freya's beauty.
Freya looked at the food before shrinking her body and shaking her head timidly, saying, "No, I don't want to eat that! Freya's afraid of spicy things."
"It's not spicy at all! It's tomato sauce, and it tastes sour and sweet!" Lola coaxed her, believing she could easily fool this fool.
Freya lowered her head, but her eyes flashed with icy malice. She pretended to be curious and reached for the bowl.
Lola found it most enjoyable to bully Freya. When she noticed Freya was about to eat the food, she quickly took out her phone and prepared to take a photo of her.
Lola planned to take photos of Freya when she got humiliated and post them online so that no one would ever think she was attractive again.
Freya smiled gently as she took a delicate bite of the dish and held it in her mouth. She then sprayed a mouthful of chili sauce all over Lola's face with a "puff" sound.
Lola screamed in frustration after three seconds of stunned silence.
"You stupid idiot! You did that on purpose!"
Lola's chin and cheeks were covered in red chili pepper, which dripped onto her designer dress.
It was the most expensive item sent by the Austin family, and she intended to flaunt it to her friends in high society tonight.
The dress was now splattered with chili sauce that resembled bloodstains and had a spicy smell.
Lola clenched her teeth tightly together in her rage and raised a fist to hit Freya.
Freya, however, yelled out of the blue, "Ahh! There's a cockroach there! Freya is so scared!"
Freya grabbed Lola's waist and pushed her down to the ground while she was yelling.
That bowl of hot, spicy food spilled over Lola's head, making her eyes sting so much that she couldn't open them. She was only able to let out screams.
In agony, she shouted, "It hurts! Get the hell away from me, you moron!"
However, Freya didn't want to leave Lola alone. She then yanked on Lola's hair, pretending to be innocent, and said, "The cockroach hid in your hair! Kill it now!"
Lola felt so painful, as if her scalp was about to split in two. She cried out, "Freya, you idiot, let go of my hair! Ah! It hurts!"
But since Freya was too strong, Lola could do nothing except scream while enduring her attacks.
"Mom! Help! She's trying to kill me!"
Sophie was trying on jewelry downstairs when she heard the cries for help, so she ran upstairs immediately.
Sophie noticed Freya pouncing on Lola and hitting her as soon as she entered the room. She became so enraged that she couldn't breathe and yelled at Freya after she calmed down, "Freya, what are you doing?"
"Look, a cockroach! A cockroach is on Aunt Sophie's body!" Freya rushed Sophie after she had pranked Lola for long enough.
Freya also had chili sauce on her, so she stained Sophie's dress with red marks. Sophie felt like crying out of rage.
"Freya, stand up! We have maids cleaning the house every day. How is it possible that there;s a cockroach?"
"I saw it! The cockroach is attacking Aunt Sophie!" Freya suddenly widened her eyes and yelled, "It's inside Aunt Sophie's dress!" as if she were scared.
She went insane after that, frantically pulled at Sophie's clothes, grabbed a slipper, and smashed it directly into her stomach.
"Ah!"
Freya hit Sophie hard, which made her keep screaming in agony.
Steps could be heard coming from downstairs at that precise moment.

Kylan's eyes darkened, but the smirk on his lips exposed his amusement. "You and I both know we can't fight this, Violet," he said, gripping my wrist. "You're my mate." "And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
