I am the white moonlight of Jiang Qinian, who has been in a coma for three years. When I woke up, everyone told me that Jiang Qinian had fallen in love with my substitute, Nan Huaizhi. He brought Nan Huaizhi back to our wedding room, set the door lock password to her birthday, and fell asleep in an embrace on the mattress we had chosen together. He seems to take care of me in every way, but his heart has always leaned towards Nan Huaizhi. Jiang Qinian's good brother advised us to break up. But I insist on pretending that nothing has happened, repeatedly pulling and tormenting them. I want them to know that angering a madman will not end well.
I was the woman of Jere Howard's dream, having been in a coma for three years.
When I regained consciousness from my coma, everyone told me that Jere had fallen in love with my substitute, Bethany Rowe.
He brought Bethany into the house we shared, set the door lock code to her birthday, and they slept together on the mattress we picked out.
He seemed to protect me in every way, but his heart was always with Bethany.
Jere's good friends advised us to break up.
But I insisted on pretending that nothing had happened and torturing them over and over again.
I wanted them to know that crossing a madwoman is a dangerous game.

When I regained consciousness, there was only a young nurse wiping me down.
She saw me open my eyes and excitedly shouted, "Miss Fuller is awake!"
Immediately, two doctors in white coats rushed in.
They said that I was able to stay awake was a medical miracle.
With multiple brain hemorrhages, it was a blessing just to be alive.
The nurse measured my blood pressure while chattering away at me.
"Miss Fuller, you're truly blessed to have such a caring and loving boyfriend. Over the years, Mr. Howard has invited many world-class doctors just to help you regain consciousness."
I asked, "Where is Jere?"
The nurse was stunned, thinking seriously for a moment.
"It seems like he hasn't been here for a while, maybe he has been busy..."
"Oh." I responded softly.
The gardenias in the glass vase on the bedside table had long wilted and dried up, looking so ugly.
The nurse noticed my gaze and quickly explained, "Mr. Howard didn't allow us to touch them, so we didn't dare to handle them ourselves."
"No worries, throw them away."
I borrowed a phone from the nurse to call Jere, but the call was hung up, and the text message I sent went unanswered.
I frowned, borrowed two hundred dollars from the nurse, and took a taxi home.
Back to the house Jere and I shared.
Standing in front of the familiar villa, I had a feeling of being transported to another world.
Everything here, from the plants to the furniture in every room, was carefully chosen by Jere and me.
My parents had passed away, so Jere said he wanted to build our home with me.
Unfortunately, we had a car accident on the way to our engagement.
In a panic, I threw myself onto Jere's body and used my body to shield him.
I reached out to wipe the tears from my face and slowly ascended the steps.
"Beep, access denied." The door lock's prompt sounded.
I was surprised and tried to enter my birthday.
"Beep, incorrect password, three attempts remaining."
I tried again with Jere's birthday, the date we got together, and the engagement date.
The door was completely locked.
I sat on the steps, a wave of inexplicable grievance washing over me.
Perhaps I was still fragile from just regaining consciousness; I began to sob.

After what seemed like an eternity, a pair of high heels came to a stop in front of me.
A gentle female voice came from above my head.
"May I ask who you are?"
I looked up and locked eyes with her, and both of us froze for a moment.
She looked just like me, even her style of dressing was the same as mine used to be.
"And who are you?" I stood up, only to find that I was half a head taller than her in heels.
"I'm the lady of this house." The beautiful woman frowned slightly, as if she was getting impatient.
She was the lady of the house, so who was I?
"Bethany, why aren't you coming in?"
Jere naturally and intimately wrapped his arm around the woman's shoulder, only then lazily glancing at me.
The moment he saw me, his eyes widened in shock.
"Makenna? Is that you, Makenna?"
Jere was so moved that he choked up a bit. He let go of the hand he had around the woman and rushed over in a few steps, pulling me into his embrace.
"Makenna, I've missed you so much." He buried his head in my neck, his tears sliding down my neck.
The woman's face turned pale, her body swaying slightly.
"Makenna, Makenna."
She kept murmuring, suddenly her voice took on a sobbing tone, "Jere, are you abandoning me?"
Jere's body suddenly stiffened, and he slowly let go of the hand he was holding me with.
He looked me in the eye, and I could see an endless sense of guilt in his eyes.
"Makenna, during the years you were in a coma, it was Bethany who stayed by my side. I'm sorry..."
Although I had guessed part of it, hearing this cruel fact in person still caused a painful sensation in my heart.
"So what?"
His expression was extremely complex, and it was almost a struggle for him to say those words.
"Bethany, you can leave now."
Jere didn't look back at Bethany, perhaps unable to bear it.
Bethany's eyes were filled with tears. She covered her mouth with her hand, as if she had suffered a great humiliation, and stumbled out of the gate.
She had a face similar to mine, but she was showing such a fragile expression that I was getting annoyed.

The furnishings in the villa were exactly the same as they had been three years ago, with a fresh bunch of gardenias on the coffee table.
It seemed they had been picked just this morning.
Jere poured me a glass of warm water and then sat beside me.
His hands rested on his legs, appearing somewhat uneasy.
"Makenna, why didn't you call me when you regained consciousness from my coma?"
I took a sip of water.
"I did call."
Jere was taken aback, his face turning a bit pale, "I was in a meeting today, and my phone was with Bethany."
There was no need to say more.
Bethany had deleted my messages.
"Why was the door code changed?"

I never expected that the daughter of the nanny I sponsored for her education would be having an affair with my "phoenix man" husband, mocking me as a boring old woman while sleeping in my big bed. They caused me to have a miscarriage and are plotting to take my house and swallow my company. I am carefully planning my counterattack, digging one pit after another for this pair of scoundrels, so they can jump in themselves. I want them to understand just how great the consequences of betraying me will be!
Once by chance, I discovered that my husband had two phones, and one of them contained secrets I was not allowed to touch. In that phone, he and his mistress were like a family, while I was just a pig waiting to be slaughtered. They had prepared a trap for me, wanting to take everything I had and leave me with nothing. When a woman no longer talks to you about feelings, it's hard to say who the real loser will be in the end.
