The resolution

"The plane will take off in about 30mintues" a voice echoed through the speaker in the airport.

Annabel MacMillan was in the line waiting for her luggage's to be checked .the queue was so long as she wondered what all these people where going to do in Newyork

Annabel, going to a new country was not only a new experience for her but a new beginning,a second chance to live her life the way she always imagined it to be, to accomplish her goals, dream's, motive , make her parents proud and most importantly make her self proud.

She was about going to a new city, not just a new city a new country too. Having lived all her live in South Africa Anabel decided that for college she will go to a new country far away from home so as to acomplish her dreams. Beign a brilliant young lady in her mid 20s she got a scholarship to study in any college of her choice , not that her parents could not afford to take her any where to study but she wanted to do something for her self as she knew that what ever college her family will tell her to go to must be within them so they can monitor her and guarantee her safety.

Her father MR.MacMillan being a famous business tycoon and a renowned and retired lecturer of so many prestigious University , within and outside South Africa Anabel knew fully well that she was sure to get into a prestigious school within her country. But she decided she will get what she wants her own way.

Still on the line she assured her self she was not making a big mistake. She said a silent prayer and within minutes it was her turn for her luggage's to be searched.her luggage wasn't much as she had decided to change her wardrobe and get some other necessities when she arrives newyork

After what seemed to be like hours every one finally emerged the plane.she checked her seat number and went straight to her seat , she lowered the seat a little trying to make it comfortable for her as it was a night journey and she will likely sleep . While lowering the seat she looked back to check if she was making the people at the back uncomfortable, but they where good.

She took her best position on the chair and put on her neck rest. She was about closing her eyes when a handsome guy sat next to her. She tried to maintain her composure as she tried not to look, it wasn't possible. As the guy was so handsome and cute .

Annabel reminded her self that she has a future ahead and she needs to focus but

"dammmmn this guy is so cute " Annabel thought.

"It was such a long line in the luggage check point right?"he asked

"Yeah it was I am glad it is over" Annabel replied.

"Pardon my manners I am Steve by the way, Steve Andrew" he said, saying his name in full.

"Okay Steve" Annabel replied

And you, can I get to know your name? Steve asked.

Annabel have this habit of not answering a question without being asked more reason she didn't say her name immediately after steve said his name.

"I am Annabel MacMillan" she told Steve staring her him.

Well she hoped the name MacMillan is not familiar to him cos she some what gets embarrassed from the unaffectionate love people show to her when they hear her name or when they notice she is in the building.

Unfortunately for Annabel Steve knew the name.

"Who would have known I would be sitting beside mr MacMillan daughter who i must say is very very pretty" Steve retorted.

"funny you Annabel replied laughing a little.

"Nice to meet you miss MacMillan " Steve said giving her a nod.

"Same here Steve , I actually prefer Annabel."Annabel prefers being called Annabel or Anna as her friends would call her. Ahhhhh her friends she will miss them so much and they will miss her.

She assured her self that she would communicate with them as there are technologies now. She must times wondered what she would have done with out technologies and how the world would have been presently.

smiling showing all his white perfect teeth . She tried not to look but once again it wasn't possible.

The conversation went on pretty well that Annabel forgot she planned on sleeping through out the journey, she was enjoying the conversation so much that she didn't even here the announcement the air hostess made about the plane taking off.she knew the plane took off when she felt the budge as it went high in the sky.

"Finally we are going" they chorused together and giggled after realizing that they said the same thing at the same time.

"If I may ask what's your mission in ****"?setve asked.

"Mission?lol if someone actually here's you they would think that my secret team sent me to go and assassinate some one , little do they know I am going to college."Annabel responded hysterically.

"College hmmmm I see well that's nice" setve told her smiling.

"So what course are we talking about?"

"Well masscommunication , journalism to be specific" . Anabelle said trying to be specific.

"Okay that's nice , why mass communication? I thought all mr macmallin children will either study business or any other course I honestly didn't think of masscommunication tho. "Steve questioned Annabel.

We'll Steve was right her elder sibings studied business management and medicine. She had her own plans and she must surely accomplish it .she loved communication, writing and many other things and they all are associated with mass communication.when she took the scholarship exams she did excellently well.

She had to explain to Steve her reason for studying mass communication . He perfectly understood her .

She realized she had being telling him so much about her self and decided to ask him some questions too.

What are you going to do in ***** or rather whats your mission there she said whilst laughing . They bought laughed.

"Well I am going to see my fianceed we are getting married soon."

"Finaceee ! Marriage" she mumbled shocked.

Immediately he said these words Annabel heart was shattered . Not that she had plans for both of them or anything , well she kinda hoped things will work out between them as they really vibed well. And she slightly liked him even tho they just met. She wasn't the type to catch feelings fast but this one was different. Maybe because we are sitting together and not being able to move She was now absent minded and lost in thought and some what shock.

She imagined what he might be going to ****to do but she never imagined marriage. She didn't even know he wasn't single . She didn't ask tho as it was the first time they where meeting and it will be awkward.but fiancee was the least thing she thought of honestly. She thought she he was there for either business or fun. We'll you seem lost ? Are you okay. Steve asked Annabel.

Of course I am not okay why are you not single Huhh , Annabel questioned her thought as if she was talking to him. You even told me I was pretty is that not cheating arghhhhhh Huhh huhhh . She continued questioning him in her mind.

"I am fine she finally replied just having a slight head ache nothing much" she replied smiling.

Annabel wished the Trip will go so fast eventually it did and they both left the airport without exchanging contacts what so ever.

Annabel thought about why he didn't ask for her number , well even tho he is getting married he should have asked and probably invited me for his wedding. She thought.

We'll this is not a good way to start in a new country , bad engery please stay far away. Annabel told herself reminding her self of what she came to new York to do.
