Abby Collins is a young sweet wolf, but she sorely lacks confidence in herself and her physical appearance. She feels complexed, thinking that her body, less voluptuous than that of other louves in the pack, cannot draw the attention of males around her. This insecurity enormously influences his love life, and especially his feelings for his alpha, Callan Meison. Charismatic and powerful, Callan is not only the alpha of the pack, but also a notorious seducer. However, he never gives her a look, which hurts her deeply. She is convinced of it: if Callan does not notice it, it is because she does not have the physical qualities he is looking for in a companion. To get things done, Callan seems to focus all his attention on Susan Randall, a sedu Isante and provocative of the clan, which never lacks an opportunity to make fun of Abby because of its appearance. Determined to win Callan's heart, Abby decides to take extreme measures. If it cannot draw its attention to traditional means, it envisages unorthodox methods to achieve it. In her desperate quest, she inadvertently invokes a creature of darkness: Eros, a demon as cruel as it is possessive. The latter is intrigued by Abby, seeing in her a light that awakens her lonely soul. They then conclude a mysterious pact: Eros promises to give her everything she wants to conquer Callan, but in exchange, she will have to offer him something precious and unique ... her virginity. In this story of passion and jealousy, discover how a possessive demon and a young fragile wolf will get closer, despite their differences, and how Abby will discover an unexpected love in the arms of the one she never thought of meeting.

Chapter 1 Chapitre 1

Abby Collins stood aside, a little in the shade of the tall trees that lined the pack's training ground. She observed, in silence, Callan Meison, Alpha son, the one she admired and loved for so long in secret. Her gaze was unable to tear herself away from him, despite the pain that this scene aroused in her. He was there, smiling, bursting with charisma, with Susan Randall by his side. Susan, the wolf with the perfect body and generous curves, who never missed an opportunity to show off her beauty in front of everyone, and especially, under that of Callan.

Abby knew she wasn't like Susan. She was thin, slender, with a discreet silhouette, far from the shapes that most of the males in the pack seemed to prefer. This difference was eating away at her. Every day she compared herself to the other wolves, to their appearance, to their confident laughter, to the way they attracted attention. But in this moment, it was as if she could no longer bear this feeling of inferiority. She wanted, for once, to feel the warmth of a look of admiration, especially Callan's.

As she tried to look away, Susan burst out laughing, a clear, mocking sound that struck Abby like a dagger. She knew that this laugh was not innocent. Susan knew she was watching and taking advantage. Looking down, Abby heard malicious whispers coming from the group where Susan was standing.

"Honestly, I don't understand why she's still here, drooling over our Alpha," Susan whispered, loud enough for Abby to hear. "With this body, she'd be better off blending into the forest, instead of hoping for things that will never happen to her." »

Abby's heart tightened, and a bitter burn spread through her chest. She bit her lip to contain the tears that threatened to well up. She knew that responding would only make things worse. Susan loved to provoke her and see her reactions. Abby wanted to show that she was strong, that she wasn't affected by these remarks, but the truth was that they hurt her terribly.

She twists her claws, unable to bear this humiliation any longer. She walks quickly, through the woods to find a place where she could breathe, where she could be alone with her thoughts. The forest was dense and calm, providing refuge for tormented souls like his. She sat down on a tree stump, bowed her head and finally let a few tears slide down her cheeks.

"Why... Why am I not like her? » she whispered to herself, her voice breaking.

Abby thought back to the many moments she spent watching Callan from afar, hoping for a sign, a smile, a look, anything that would make him feel like he existed in his eyes. But he never noticed it. To him she was just a shadow, a simple member of the pack among many others. And yet, she knew that deep down, she wanted to be seen, she wanted him to know who she was. She wanted him to consider her.

Anger rose within her, mingling with her grief. She was tired of being this shy, withdrawn, ignored girl. Why should she continue to endure this feeling of invisibility? Maybe something needed to change. Maybe she had to become someone else for him to finally see her. An idea began to form in his mind. A crazy idea, maybe even dangerous, but at that moment, she didn't care about the consequences.

Remembering the ancient legends she had heard as a child, she recalled a myth that spoke of pacts with dark entities, powerful beings who could grant wishes in exchange for something valuable. These stories, while terrifying, promised immeasurable power to those who dared to summon these creatures.

An inner voice, soft but firm, reminded her to be careful.

"Are you serious, Abby? Have you really considered such a thing just for a man's attention? »

But the pain of indifference, of mockery, of crushing loneliness... all of this seemed more unbearable than the risk. She clenched her fists, feeling a determination she had never known.

She whispered, as if to give herself courage, "If that's what it takes to get him to notice me, then... I will." »

Abby sits up, taking a deep breath. His decision was made. She was going to try the summoning. She didn't yet know how, or if it would actually work, but she was willing to try anything to get what she had wanted for so long.

As she returned to the village, a strange glint seemed to shine in her eyes, a mixture of defiance and resignation. She had made her decision, and although part of her remained terrified of what she was about to do, she had never been so certain of anything.

When night comes, Abby waits for calm to settle in the pack. She knew that she had to be alone for this, that no one should see her. By the light of the moon, she quietly left her home and headed towards the clearing hidden deep in the forest, a place where ancient energies were said to be most powerful. The place was enveloped in a strange atmosphere, where the silence seemed to weigh like a heavy cloak.

She took out of her pocket an old grimoire that she had borrowed from the library, a forgotten book that no one would ever consult. She had spent the last few hours reading and rereading the instructions for the summoning, trying to memorize every gesture, every word. Her heart was beating so hard she felt like it was going to burst, but she refused to back down. She spoke the inscribed words, an ancient formula whose full meaning she did not understand, but she immediately felt that something in the air changed.

An icy wind suddenly rose, as if from nowhere, and made the trees around her tremble. A shadow seemed to form in the center of the clearing, at first fuzzy, then gradually taking on a more precise shape. She remains motionless, her throat tight, her breath short. She had never felt such fear, mixed with a strange excitement.

The shadow materialized into a silhouette, a man with dark, attractive features, with piercing eyes that shone with an evil glow. A smirk spread across his face as he stared at her, and a deep voice echoed through the chilly air of the clearing.

"So you called me, little wolf. What do you desire so much that you would risk your life to invoke me? »

Abby feels unable to speak for a few seconds, paralyzed by the creature's imposing presence. She finally gathered her courage, trying not to tremble as she answered.

"I...I want to get Callan Meison's attention. »

The demon burst into raucous laughter, a laugh that echoed through the clearing like a wave of darkness. "For that, you need me? Aren't you capable of seducing a simple Alpha by yourself? »

Abby felt shame wash over her, but she didn't look away. "I know I'm not like the others... I don't have their beauty, nor their confidence. I need help. »

The demon stared at her for a moment, his gaze almost softening, as if he saw a part of vulnerability in her that intrigued him. "Very good," he murmured as he approached, his voice becoming softer, almost caressing. "I can give you whatever you want. But in exchange, you will have to give me something valuable. »

Breathing short, Abby nodded, aware that she had crossed a limit, that she had just plunged into a universe whose rules she was unaware of. But, deep inside her, a feeling of grandiose challenge, nourished by all these years of darkness and insecurity. She knew that whatever it cost her, she would not back down.
