Story of a girl who met a stranger at cafe and her life changed.

Chapter 1 The Stranger At The Cafe

I always order the same drink-iced caramel latte, no whip, two pumps of vanilla. It's the kind of consistency I crave-a little slice of control in a life that feels like it's always teetering on the edge of chaos. I wasn't planning on meeting anyone that day, much less *him*.

The café was its usual mid-morning self: soft chatter, the hum of an espresso machine, sunlight spilling through the windows. I had just slipped my sunglasses onto my head and was reaching for my laptop when I felt it-his eyes on me.

Normally, I'm good at ignoring things like that. A glance, a lingering stare-whatever. But this wasn't just a look; it was a presence. Slowly, I turned my head, and there he was, sitting at the corner table like he owned the place.

He was tall, with dark hair that fell just a little too perfectly across his forehead, and those eyes... sharp, calculating, like they were cataloging every inch of me. My body betrayed me before my brain could kick in-I felt a flush creep up my neck, my stomach tightening.

He raised his coffee cup slightly, a silent toast. Bold. I didn't know him, but something about the way he looked at me made my heart pound in a way that no amount of caffeine could explain.

I turned back to my laptop, trying to focus, but it was useless. I could still feel him watching me. And then, just as I was about to gather my things and leave, he stood up.

I didn't even notice he was walking toward me until he was already there, his shadow falling over my table. "Is this seat taken?" His voice was smooth, confident.

"No," I replied, a little too quickly. "But I was just about to-"

"Don't," he interrupted, pulling the chair out and sitting down. His confidence was infuriating, but intriguing all the same. "You look like someone who doesn't scare easily."

I narrowed my eyes. "And you look like someone who assumes too much."

He smirked, leaning back in the chair as though he had all the time in the world. "Fair enough. But tell me this-do you believe in fate?"

I rolled my eyes. "Is that your opening line? 'Do you believe in fate'? You've got to be kidding me."

But then he did something I didn't expect-he reached into his jacket and pulled out a small, folded piece of paper. "Look," he said, sliding it across the table.

Curiosity got the better of me. I unfolded it, my eyes scanning the handwritten note.

*You'll meet her in a café. She'll be drinking an iced caramel latte. Two pumps of vanilla, no whip.*

My heart stopped.

I looked up at him, my hands trembling slightly. "What is this?"

His expression softened, the smirk fading into something more serious. "Let's just say... I've been looking for you."

And that's when I realized my life was about to change forever.
