Sold by my stepfather, I married a cruel Lycan King who only knows how to play with my feelings. Used and neglected, my life couldn't be any worse. "I only need her as a breeder. She's of no use to me," His words couldn't stop ringing in my head and my tears wouldn't stop flowing. Escaping was my only route, it was my only way out and I've decided to do just that! Wait, I'm pregnant? Oh No, This is bad!
FLORIDA'S POV
"Mother please don't leave me!" I desperately clung to my mother's legs, begging her not to leave.
"I have to go, Florida," my mother said, trying to push me away as she held the door. Her fingers clutched her bag, and her makeup-filled face was laced with contempt as she stared at me.
My eyes watered and streamed down my cheeks as I sobbed, "Please, Mommy, don't go! I need you! Please don't leave me!" Though I could read and see everything on her face, I still held on to that tiny hope that my mother wouldn't ignore me. I really hoped she wouldn't...
However, my mother's face was cold and hard, and she nonchalantly pulled away from my grasp.
"You can't stop me," she said, her voice devoid of emotion. "I can't stay here any longer. You'll be fine without me in the pack." She added coldly, not minding the tears that kept rolling down my pained face.
"No!" I cried out vehemently, shaking my head vigorously as I held her as if she was my last breath... Of course, she was.
Regardless, my mother shoved me aside, grabbed her luggage, and left, never to be seen ever again.
"MOTHER!!!" I screamed my lungs out, my heart broke as I watched her walk out the door until she faded away.
I collapsed on the floor, my body trembling with grief mixed with sadness.
I was left all alone. All alone in this wicked world!
My beloved father died two years ago in a rogue attack, and it didn't take my mother a second thought to get remarried even when the man wasn't her second-chance mate!
Soon after, Damian, my stepfather, started to show his true colors. Every second, minute, and hour, he was always in his beastly form, tormenting my life.
Each time, my mother would try to keep me protected from him, but it wasn't enough, and now, my mother had left me.
She has left me behind to deal with the monster she brought into my life. She could no longer protect me, not more than herself.
Just as I was wallowing in sorrow, the devil incarnate chose to show up!
"What's all this crying about, girl?" he growled with malicious eyes. "Didn't your mother teach you not to be a mutt?"
He entered the living room, his presence reeked of alcohol and cigars.
Just as he attempted to approach me, with his cruel hand outstretched, I recoiled from his touch in deep fear.
"Plea-please, j-just leave me alone," I stuttered, begging, but my stepfather seemed not ready to heed me.
He aggressively lung forward, and I gasped in terror. He snatched my arm more tightly and with his claws digging into my skin.
"You are just a weak wolfless idiot," he glared at me murderously, "You'll do as I say, girl," he hissed.
"Y-yes stepfather," I shuttered fearfully, not wanting to agitate him.
"Good girl," he sneered, showing off his ugly brown set of teeth.
He hesitated for a moment, grabbed my chin forcefully, and whispered dangerously. "If you ever dare to act stubborn, I'll send you straight to the packhouse," He threatened.
My eyes widened, and I knew he could feel my body tremble in a nightmare.
"You know what they do to wolfless girls like you there. I'd be doing you a favor if I just got rid of you now." He smirked.
My heart knotted in fear; I knew he was right; I mean when he mentioned the packhouse, it was a place of horrors for wolfless girls like me.
The pack members hated us with disgust and hatred. Their loathe grew increasingly when I was unable to transform into my Wolf like every other average Wolf would.
If he, by any means, sends me over to dwell in the packhouse, I would be overly mistreated like a slave, beaten and abused like never before.
I was already frightened of my stepfather, but the thought of the packhouse filled me with even more dread.
"I... I will be good," I stammered like a fish out of the water, I promised him just to keep my head alive. He moved closer to me and tried to kiss me, but I covered my mouth with my hands and lowered my head with my eyes closed.
This wasn't his first time. He had tried kissing me several times, but my mum would always walk in on us, and he would let me go.
There were times he had grabbed my boobs from the back and times he had felt my ass out, I would try fighting back, but that would only earn me more beatings.
Thinking back to where it all began, Damian started changing toward me the day he walked into my room and tried to make out with me, but I refused.
He looked very disappointed that day after several failed attempts to convince me to give in, and he later left when he saw that I would never let him.
My heart raced, and it threatened to explode out of my chest. Who would save me now that my mother was out of the picture? His hand fell on my boobs and he squeezed it hard, causing me to yelp in pain.
"Oops! You're on bra!" He said irritatedly and grabbed my chin to make me stare straight at him while his other hand remained on my boobs. My body crawled, and I felt like throwing up, but I knew fighting back wouldn't help... I was going to think of a different way, but what way? I was helpless.
He stood up abruptly and yanked my hair to pull me up. "Ah!" I cried, but that only earned me a slap from him as his grip on my hair tightened. It was painful~ Too painful
"Shut up!" He scolded. "Your mother's gone, and you're mine today, Florida! It's over for you!" He added and laughed manically as he dragged me toward his room.
"You've got no choice, Hazel. You either marry me or die in my hands." I bit my lower lip as I was at a crossroad and there was no way out anymore. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I walked down the alter with a man that hated my entire being. Why would he suddenly marry me? "Why did you marry me?" "I needed a substitute before "She" shows up and you are the best choice." He replied, breaking my last thread of hope. If hope was a person, I would hack it a million times just to make sure it never rise again. I was a hopeful young girl until I met Alpha Watson who not only dash my hope but also showed me the other side of love. Just because of my race and a sin I knew nothing of, I lived a life of hell and was forced to close my heart. Alpha Watson gave me no choice than to hate him. I was fated to hate him forever~ FATED TO HATE YOU...
