In a run-down apartment in the outcast of the city where people with different bad lifestyles live. The street was filled with dirt and portholes. It rained that morning so everywhere was filled with mud but the people there weren't bothered especially the children.
Roars of men arguing about unnecessary matters, mothers calling for their children, and the sound of crazy laughter from the ladies who had nothing to do other than smoke and gossip and when it's nighttime, they go out to sell their bodies.
It was Afternoon and the sun pierced into the room of Merina, shining on her sleeping face making her scrunch her face while using her hands to block the light. The blasting voices were like an alarm that made her wide awake. She sighed and sat up on the bed. Her head throbbed with pain, that's the consequence of getting drunk. She rubbed her forehead hoping to ease the pain but it won't just go away so she just stood up and walked to the bathroom to do her daily routine. After she was done bathing and brushing, she came outside with a towel wrapped around herself. She didn't bother using a treatment or rubbing cream on her body as she deemed it unnecessary, since she felt no one was looking at her anyway, she didn't even have the money for it. All the money she gets from singing in the club and on the subway has been spent on alcohol and drugs. She opened her wardrobe which had just little clothes, everything in it was black and full of trousers and a shirt which she had bought for cheap prices at the night market. She picked one and wore it, not bothered with the fittings or the torn shirt.
Merina looked at herself in the mirror, she looked badly battered, she sighed and walked to the cabinet to bring out her makeup bag to cover up her puffy eyes as she decided to set off to the bar to have a drink.
She was greeted with the crisp and cool air after stepping out. She inhaled deeply but her nose twitched when she mistakenly inhaled the pungent smell of cigarettes, her face remained indifferent as she was used to the pungent smell. She adjusted her clothes and walked forward, not looking at anybody, she looked like a wandering soul that mistakenly ventured into a new place.
The bar was not far from where she lived so she chose to walk there, as she had always done when she didn't have enough money. The sound of music attacked Merina immediately as she walked into the bar, her eyes scanning for a space to sit.
"Hello, pretty! Can I sit with you?!" A man's voice sounded next to Merina who had just sat down and was about to order a drink.
She looked at the man who just asked her a question, she saw the mischievous light in his eyes and knew he was up to no good, but she wasn't scared, as this was not the first time encountered scumbags since she started this crazy lifestyle of hers. Since he was the one who said he wanted to buy her a drink, she saw no reason to reject a free drink, so she nodded which got the man so excited as he thought she was so easy to catch. He immediately signaled to the bartender who bought some drinks after a few minutes.
"So...pretty, what's your name?" The man asked as he looked lustfully at the still-indifferent Merina.
"Why aren't you answering? I bought you a drink so I think I should have your attention, right?" He asked irritatedly. He didn't know why the person who had accepted his drink wouldn't even look or pay attention to him. Her face wasn't that beautiful, but he wouldn't deny she had a sexy figure man would die for, even if she was wearing something baggy it still couldn't hide her shape. But he wondered why her face was full of makeup which looked a little upsetting to look at.
"Scam!" Merina's cold voice sounded in the space, freezing the man. He looked surprised at first then suddenly anger filled his eyes.
"How dare you tell me to scam after taking my drink? Do you know who I am?! Since you took my drink then you are mine for the night!" The man said as he pointed at the cold Merina who still sat stiffly on the couch. She had maintained the same posture since she came and only moved when she raised her glass to her lips.
Her lips suddenly curled up in a smile when she saw the finger pointed at her, she raised her hand and grabbed the finger and bit down so hard making the man scream which disturbed the nearby people who were dancing and drinking but when they saw there was no danger, they ignored the screaming man and focused on what they were doing.
"Sorry! I hate being pointed at, it reminds me of some bad memories." Merina's voice sounded so soft as she apologized, but only the person who was bitten knew the terror he felt when she bit his finger, it was like she wanted to cut off his finger. He looked at the indifferent face as she raised her hand like a robot to clean the blood stain on her lips, making her look like a devil. He couldn't stop the chill that covered his body.
"You are crazy! Crazy human, you ought to see a therapist, your brain needs to be checked! Don't worry about the drink anymore, take it!" He said in horror before running out of the bar, he didn't want to stay here at all.
"Yes, I am crazy... you don't need to tell me as I have been told many times before, haha! It's nothing new!" Merina laughed crazily as she muttered to herself still drowning the drinks that were bought by the man.
After drinking her fill, she suddenly felt pressed, so she stood unsteadily and walked around. She knew the toilet was just nearby as she was a regular there, but she was so drunk today that she couldn't find her way to the toilet. After so many unsuccessful attempts to find the toilet, she found an open door, and thinking it was the toilet she entered and immediately rushed to the toilet of the room which she was glad she found because she had almost wet her pants. After urinating she came out of the toilet, with an unclear eye, she decided it was time to go back home as she knew she was dead drunk, but who knew she would bump into a hard body immediately she came out of the toilet.
"Ouch! My nose!" Merina cried out in pain as she touched her already red nose.
"Who are you? And what are you doing in my room?" A male voice sounded which scared Merina awake.
She looked at the person who she bumped into and was immediately shocked by what she saw. Though she was still drunk, she was not blind and knew how to tell a high-quality man when she saw one, she also knew when there was danger just like now.
"Your room? You are so weird... how can you call the toilet your room?" Though Merina sensed danger she was drunk.
Adam Nart looked at the drunk girl who was spitting nonsense out of her mouth speechlessly. He had gone for a dinner party somewhere nearby but he wasn't careful enough and drank a spiked drink given to him by the waiter. He had let down his guard as he felt no one would dare drug him but he underestimated human greediness. He had immediately left the party when he noticed something was wrong with his body, he didn't even wait for his assistant as he drove himself out of there but he didn't expect what he was drugged with to be so strong, so he decided to find a place to stay for the night so he could calm down and by coincidence, he saw this bar and immediately ordered for a room.
He was trying to take off his clothes and soak in cold water to clear his head when he saw the lady barge in drunkenly, he had wanted to yell for her to get out but he decided to watch and see what she was planning but he never expected it to be a drunk lady who had mistakenly his room for the toilet. Looking at her caked-up face which was still scrunched up in pain, he couldn't help but find it amusing.
"I think you should open your eyes wide and see if this is a toilet or a room," Adam said coldly to the girl. He had no time to argue with a drunk woman as he could feel his body heating up so badly, his eyes couldn't help but roam the girl's body and he found out she was well endowed. Realizing what he was thinking about, he held his head speechlessly. This drug was so potent.
"Get out! I don't want to hurt you, so get out before you regret it, lady." He warned as he pointed at the door signaling her to leave immediately, but would Merina listen? The answer was obvious.
"I hate being threatened the most! So I won't leave! I will sit here and see what you can do!" She said stubbornly as she sat down on the bed with her beautiful eyes looking challengingly at Adam.
"Then don't regret it!"
