"I have a job for you. You will achieve all your dreams, ambitions and more. Sign here." He placed the documents on her desk, not waiting for her response. Alicia looked up at him, irritated. Just because he was tall, tanned and handsome didn't mean she wanted to do absolutely anything possible to please him. "I haven't even agreed. What's the job description?" Alicia tried to appear sensible but it was a difficult task, due to the intoxicating presence of the Greek god before her. "Angel, you don't need to agree to it. You must. You really don't have a choice in this, considering that I can end your career with just a phone call or text." "So, why don't you be a nice, little hussy and sign the damn papers?" Alicia knew very well that he meant business. This was Adrea Miller and he never left empty threats. So, she hesitantly signed the papers. "Now, that wasn't so hard, was it, girlfriend?" He asked, as he circled the desk, making his way towards her. "Wait! Girlfriend? What..." Adrea silenced her efficiently as his lips claimed hers. *** A therapist and a wild billionaire who never played by the rules. Alicia was just a normal woman, with a normal dream; to be a world known psychologist. How did she get herself entangled with the deadly billionaire, Adrea Miller?
Adrea Miller wished his father was dead. How could a father knowingly create a rift between two brothers?
"Father, I have a simple question. Do you want Austin and I to murder each other? Though, it's highly impossible that he will harm me, but your intentions are getting suspicious."
"Adrea, this is a serious matter. It concerns the future of our companies and our corporation."
Adrea regarded his younger brother and his father. Austin has always been the perfect son; perfect and loved by all. While, Adrea was the black sheep.
Nevertheless, he didn't care or try to change. After all, he was bound to succeed his father as the first son.
"Do you think this is a joke? Let me repeat this. The seat of chairmanship is open to anyone, not just you two. But as my sons, I believe you can do better than them, therefore I'm giving you two my full support."
"Adrea, this position is supposed to be just for you. But because of your errant and distrustful..."
"Let me guess, I have to prove to you that I'm as boring as Austin. Here's my answer; no."
Chairman Miller barely smirked at his son's rude tone. He was used to it and knew very well how to make him dance to his tune.
"Then, why are you here? If you can't offer anything good, please leave."
Chairman Miller wasn't surprised when his first son stood up without thinking twice. Adrea was halfway across the room, heading for the door.
"Once you leave this room, your chances of succeeding me are gone. You will also be kicked out of Miller Corp."
Adrea stopped in his tracks, turning to face his father. He looked dead serious as he stared at his father with so much anger.
"What do you want?"
"Prove to me through a specialist, that you're mentally stable and have acquired the social norms and etiquette."
Adrea sent him a single nod, before leaving the office in cold fury.
***
"Mr. Adrea Miller! Isn't he rumored to be the crazy, ruthless CEO?"
"Alicia! As a psychologist, you shouldn't judge. Well, he's here and I can bet that he will be assigned to you."
Alicia glared at her colleague as they returned from their lunch break.
They were about to walk into the office building when they caught sight of the car parked in front of the building.
"Hey, Licia, how about a few pics? Violet, her colleague asked, rushing to snap a few shots of the sleek, black sports car.
Adrea, who had just stepped out of the building, caught sight of them. His eyes narrowed, and he strode over, anger radiating off him like heat waves. "Excuse me, what do you think you're doing?"
Violet froze, phone in hand. Alicia, however, stepped forward, her chin held high. "We were just admiring your car. Is that a crime?"
Adrea's gaze locked onto Alicia's. She was striking, with fierce green eyes and a confident stance. For a moment, he was taken aback. Even Austin or Winifred hadn't spoken to him with such a tone.
"Admiring? Or invading my privacy? Didn't you notice that's a private plate number?"
"Relax, Mister. It's just a couple of pics." Alicia said, her tone dripping with sarcasm.
"No one's planning to sell your car pictures to the tabloids. Besides, you look like someone who loves publicity so it shouldn't be a problem."
Adrea's jaw tightened. "Who the hell do you think you are?"
"I'm not anyone. So, don't look down on me. Work on that." she replied with a smirk.
"And I think you also need to work on your anger issues."
Adrea's eyes flashed with irritation, but also a hint of amusement. "Great. Just what I need. Another person to tell me how screwed up I am."
"That means you're really The Grinch and right now you're stopping an innocent and beautiful lady from taking some pictures."
Alicia shot back, not missing a beat. She was trying to be nice because she really wanted Violet to be happy.
"Who's The Grinch?" Adrea hated being ignorant about anything or anyone.
Alicia gasped dramatically. Was this man an alien?
"You don't know The Grinch? What are you?"
Adrea was about to reply but decided that it was time-wasting. He was already frustrated that his therapist wasn't around at the moment.
"Look, Miss. I will spare you today, but you won't be so lucky next time." He scolded Violet in a cold tone.
Before Alicia could retort, a security guard approached. "Is everything alright here?"
Bianca gave the guard a reassuring smile. "Yes, everything's fine. This young man and I were just having a... friendly conversation."
Alicia walked in with Violet, heaving a sigh of relief.
"That went well."
"Well? That was scary! How could you even talk to him? He's super scary."
Violet shuddered as she remembered the experience. She had been so speechless when the man had arrived.
"Yeah, he was."
Alicia was more concerned with how handsome he was. The man was breathtaking! If it weren't for the situation, she would have asked him out.
"Licia, you're crushing on him, right?" Violet nudged her, her smile mischievous.
Alicia blushed furiously but didn't deny it. Any hot-blooded female would crush on him.
"Smith!"
The duo turned to see the manager scurrying towards them.
"Where have you been?"
"Um...on my lunch break?" Alicia was wondering why the manager would suddenly be interested in her routine.
You have a patient waiting. Hurry now! A very important patient. I trust you on this. Please treat him extra special. If you mess this up, I'm sorry, but you won't have a job."
Alicia gasped, but her boss just sent her an apologetic look before running off.
Alicia didn't even listen to Vivian's words of encouragement as she ran to her office. The thought that she had kept her client waiting was torturing
Alicia ran into the office, apologizing.
"I'm very sorry..."
"You!" She spat out without realizing her words as her eyes met with her very important patient to be.
Before her sat the man who didn't know The Grinch.

"Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
