Inside the exhibition hall, the other participants were busy setting up their booths. Evelyn stepped into her own booth, which was already decorated with photos of her latest collection of designs. The mannequins wearing her gowns were carefully positioned to highlight their details and uniqueness.
"Good morning! You must be Evelyn," greeted a middle-aged woman with a warm smile. "I'm Lisa, the coordinator of this event. Your designs are very impressive. Are you ready for the big day?"
"Good morning, Lisa. Thank you very much. I'm a little nervous, but very excited. This is a great opportunity for me," Evelyn replied in a tone full of enthusiasm.
Lisa nodded. "I'm sure you'll do your best. The judges and invited guests will start arriving in an hour. So, make sure everything is ready!"
Evelyn replied with a nod and a warm smile. After Lisa left, Evelyn went back to check every detail at her booth. She made sure the fabrics were hung neatly, the brochures were organized on the table, and the mannequins looked perfect. Soon, visitors began to arrive. Guests were seen admiring the works on display at the various booths.
A man in a neat suit approached Evelyn's booth. "Good morning, I'm John from Famous Fashion Magazine. I'm interested in your designs. May I know more about your inspiration?" John asked as he looked through the dresses on display.
"Of course, John. My inspiration comes from various things, from nature, art, to traditional culture. I always try to combine these elements with a modern twist to create something unique and classy," replied Evelyn excitedly.
"Your designs do look very original. How do you choose the materials for your collection?" John asked again.
"Material selection is very important to me. I always look for high-quality materials that are not only beautiful, but also comfortable to wear. I also care a lot about sustainability, so I tend to choose eco-friendly materials," Evelyn explained.
John nodded, looking impressed. "That's wonderful. I'm sure your pieces will get a lot of attention here."
After John left, Evelyn interacted with more visitors. They asked various questions about her designs, the techniques used, and her future plans. Evelyn was happy to share her passion and vision with people who shared the same interests.
In the middle of the crowd, a young woman with an eccentric dress style approached Evelyn's booth. "Hi, I'm Chloe, a fashion blogger. I've heard a lot about your designs. Can I take some photos for my blog?" she asked enthusiastically.
"Of course, Chloe. Go ahead. I'm so glad you're interested," Evelyn replied with a big smile.
Chloe started taking photos from various angles. When she was done, she asked, "Can I know more about this latest collection? What is the main theme?"
"This collection is called 'Morning Harmony'. I was inspired by the beauty that can be found in the middle of the morning. Each piece is designed to express the balance between order and disorder," Evelyn explained.
"That's a very interesting concept. I like the way you combined seemingly contradictory elements into something harmonious," Chloe praised.
After Chloe left, Evelyn proceeded to interact with more visitors. The day passed quickly, filled with interesting chats and encouraging compliments. Evelyn felt like all her hard work paid off with the appreciation she received.
As the sun began to set, Evelyn stood in front of her booth feeling content. She observed the continuing crowd and felt grateful to have been given the opportunity to participate in an event of this magnitude.
Suddenly, an elderly man with an aura of wisdom approached her. "Hello, I'm Michael, a senior designer. I've been observing your booth all day. Your designs are amazing," he said in a calm voice.
"Thank you so much, Michael. It means a lot to me, especially coming from someone like you," Evelyn replied respectfully.
"Don't be shy. I can see the passion and dedication in every detail of your work. Stick to your vision and continue to create with your heart," Michael advised.
Evelyn smiled. "Thank you for your inspiring words. I will remember them."
Evelyn strolled through the bustling art exhibition, mesmerized by the works on display. That evening, the gallery was packed with lavishly dressed guests who had come to enjoy art and wine. Soft jazz music played in the background, adding to the elegant atmosphere. Evelyn wore a simple yet elegant black dress, trying not to attract too much attention.
While walking towards one of the abstract paintings that caught her eye, she didn't realize there was someone standing nearby. Her steps accidentally stepped on a man's foot. Evelyn gasped and immediately turned around.
"Oh sorry, I really didn't mean to," Evelyn said quickly, her face showing genuine regret.
The man, Alexander, a millionaire known for being arrogant and conceited, looked at Evelyn with a sharp gaze. "Do you know who I am?" he asked in a disdainful tone.
Evelyn shook her head, still feeling guilty. "No, but I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to..."
However, before Evelyn could finish her sentence, Alexander, with an angry face, took the red wine glass in his hand and, without warning, poured it over Evelyn's head. The red liquid ran down her hair and dress, leaving everyone around them shocked and speechless.
Evelyn was dumbfounded, unable to believe what had just happened. She stood rigid, feeling the wine dripping down her face. Silence fell over them for a moment, before the sounds of whispers and murmurs from the other guests began.
Alexander smiled sarcastically. "Maybe next time you'll be more careful."
Evelyn, still reeling from Alexander's harsh treatment, felt angry and embarrassed. Without much thought, she grabbed a wine glass from the hand of a guest standing nearby. With one swift motion, she poured the contents right in Alexander's face.
Alexander jerked back, his eyes wide. He never expected that Evelyn would reciprocate his actions. His face was flushed, not just from the wine, but also from anger and embarrassment.
