When art forger, Ailey Hobbs, infiltrates the world of reclusive billionaire Damien Voss, she plans to destroy him by exposing his darkest secrets. But as their game of seduction unfolds, Ava discovers her own identity is tied to the Voss family's bloodstained legacy. Can she make Damien fall in love with her before his family's brutality claims them both?
Taking a deep breath in and out, Ailey mustered up the confidence she knew she needed to complete this task, then without glancing round her nor hesitating, she tugged the file in her hand under her arm and pushed open the gigantic doors of Voss Empire.
The view in front of her left her gaping. From the pure white POP ceiling to the gold chandeliers hanging off it then the spotless and shiny white walls and the gold and milky colored interlocking tiles, everything screamed grandiose. She didn't notice when she stepped in and the doors shut behind her
She got distracted by a lady demanding her right at the corner by her left, there, she noticed there was a reception unit. It did not look out of place. Looking around from where she stood, apart from the reception desk and the two doors beside it that probably leads to the elevator, it was just a wide empty room.
"Do you know who I am? What gives you the right to deny me entrance to Mr. Voss?" the woman dressed in an expensive looking dress berated.
"I'm Sorry Ma'am but it is company policy. Without an IV or having a booked schedule with the boss, I cannot let you in" the receptionist replied professionally.
"I've tried to be reasonable with you but since you want to show how stubborn you can be, then I'll show you that i have the power to make sure you do not work here again neither would you find anywhere decent to work for the rest of your forsaken life" the woman sneered as she took out her phone from her gucci purse.
"Calm down ma'am. I think this case should not be that difficult to solve" noticing the woman paused and turned to listen to what she had to say, Ailey turned to the receptionist in an amicable manner and suggested
"Why don't you put a call across to the boss and..."
"Do you think the boss is open to receive calls from the reception unit?" the receptionist retorted
"Then i am guessing the boss has a secretary or receptionist close to him, why don't you try to reach them?
"I already suggested calling Mr. Liam but this know-it-all thought she's wiser." the woman could not help rebutting.
With a sigh, the receptionist picked up the telephone and dialed a number. Within a split sec, they all heard
"Miss Cowrie, how may I help you?"
"Mr. Liam, a lady is here, miss..."
"Tammy"
"... Miss Tammy to see Mr Voss" the receptionist completed
"Miss Tammy? I'll get back to you" Mr. Liam ended the call
"It's all sorted out ma'am. Please don't get angry anymore, okay?"
Seeing the effort she put into calming her down, Miss Tammy's could not help smiling. She walked up to her and held her arm
"Just Tammy. Call me Tammy"
"This fine lady, what is your name?"
"My name is Ailey" she smiled sweetly
"Oh, my darling Ailey. Thank you for your effort"
"It's nothing ma'am"
Watching them get familiar with each other, the receptionist could not help rolling her eyes.
With a ping sound, the elevator doors opened and a trio of a leader and two subordinates stepped out.
Checking the man in front from head to toe, Ailey couldn't help noticing his roughly tousled black hair, almond shaped squinted eyes, pointed nose, thin sexy lips and that angular chin. To crown it all, he was tall, tanned, muscular and his suit did nothing to hide what he really looks like underneath it. All of it pointing out to one thing, this was Mr. Damien Voss, the young CEO of Voss empire, her target.
"Damy!" Miss Tammy whispered lovingly. "My Damy"
"What are you doing here? What if someone saw you?" the helplessness could be felt from his voice albeit being a whisper.
"Don't worry about me" she waved at him then went back to hold Ailey's arms. "Here, meet Ailey. She's a sweet little girl" she patted her on her hand. With a confused look, Damien asked "from where?"
On getting a look from Miss Tammy, Ailey took it as her cue to speak.
"My name is Ailey from New Jersey. I am a graduate from Havard University and i studied advanced AI manipulation. I wish to apply to intern at the Voss Empire, that way, I get a practical implementation of what I've been taught, do research and learn more to expand my knowledge and also pour my efforts into the Voss empire and I might help in its growth.
"Did anyone tell you Voss Empire was hiring?"
"Damy! Give her a break. If she wants to intern here, then let her intern. I'm sure she is intelligent and has a good result to back her up. Right darling?" Tammy got a shy nod as a reply.
"Now I'm curious what you actually did to Miss Tammy to get her speaking up for you in this manner?" He couldn't help sizing her up.
Although she was on the petit side, he could not deny the glaring fact that she was a very beautiful woman. She was curvy at the right places and her slim waist was begging for his arms wrapped around them. She wore a white shirt, tucking its ends into her blue flair trouser. A fancy belt was used and a casual old looking canvas on her feet, still did not stop his eyes from dilating in interest. Trying to distract himself, he took his eyes up to her face. To him, her facial looks did not complement her body. If he started, he is very sure he would not take his hands off her body but her face was an epitome of innocence, the type he wouldn't want to taint.
Without any emotion on his face, he took long strides walking towards the Company's entrance.
"What about her?" Tammy asked while running after him
"Liam, deal with it" was the last thing Ailey heard before the gigantic doors shut behind him, one of his assistant and Tammy
Turning around, she was faced with Mr. Liam. With narrowed eyes, he waved her to follow him as he turned nd went back into the elevator.

"And yet you don't want me," I replied. "You told me you were ashamed of me, that l'd never be your queen, that you'd never love me. So please, accept my rejection and let me go." "Never," he whispered, his grip tightening as he pulled me closer. "Soon enough, you'll be begging for me. and when you do-I'll use you as I see fit and then I'll reject you."
