Chapter 1 The beginning of things

Elizabeth's POV

He held me close, his lips exploring every part of me, making me gasp for breath while yearning for more of this stranger I had met at the club. His voice was the sweetest sound I had heard in a while. As he caressed my body, he pinned me to the wall, his fingers exploring with gentle persistence. I felt a rush of sensation, my body overwhelmed with a pleasure I had never experienced, not even from the arrogant man who called himself my boyfriend. I watched him as he continued to explore, his eyes locked onto mine, filled with intensity and focus. He began with a gentle touch, and I instinctively responded, lost in a wave of delight. As he increased his rhythm, the pleasure intensified to such a degree that I wanted to shout out, but I didn't even know his name to call. After what seemed like an eternity of exploration, I felt alive and craving more. He savored every moment, pulling back slightly to look at me with a smile that spoke volumes. The satisfaction in his gaze fueled a fire within me, heightening the desire that was building between us. "Do you want more?" he asked, his voice a low, seductive rumble that sent shivers down my spine. I nodded, breathless and desperate, my heart pounding in my chest. With that, he leaned in closer, his lips brushing against my ear as he whispered, "Then let's see how much you can take." He kissed me fiercely, his lips igniting a fire within me that felt both intoxicating and overwhelming. I lost myself in the moment, yielding to the passion that surged between us. His hands roamed my body, exploring every curve and crease, igniting senses I never knew were dormant within me. As he pulled away slightly to look into my eyes, I could feel the heat radiating between us. There was a wildness in his gaze that both thrilled and terrified me. "I can give you everything you've been missing," he promised, his breath warm against my skin. "Then do it," I challenged, my voice barely more than a whisper, but fueled with longing. In that instant, I drowned in the urgency of our desires, ready to surrender to this stranger who was peeling back layers I had kept hidden for far too long. We got interrupted by a call that made this stranger jump to his feet, packing his clothes he had dropped on the floor and zooming off. He didn't even care to explain what had happened. I lied down covering myself up and feeling so ashamed of myself. Just then a thought came into my mind, I wore my pant and gown I wore then ran out to find this stranger"I don't even know your name, and I don't have your phone number either". I scream as he was out of sight. I came back to the room and prepared to leave for the house as it was already morning. I sat on the bed thinking about this stranger and how attractive he was, even Liam wasn't that attractive. We have dated for a while but I didn't find him attractive, I was just there to help my Aunt who has been my only source of hope with some money for treatment as she was battling with cancer. This stranger had the softest hand and every touch from him made me feel like he was just the perfect man for me. I had just wanted to get myself drunk that night In order to give myself the pleasure I had denied myself after dating a man who didn't care about me but was just doing me a favour by dating me. We started dating to fulfill the requirements of a truth or dare game that was organized by my department in college after writing ourfinal exams and we were made to do anything we were asked to do without backing out.I had hated Liam in college because he felt the world was under his feet, he treated everyone else with discern including me, there was a day he beat me up in school for excluding his name during one of the practicals we had and because he didn't participate. I reported to the HOD but he couldn't do anything because Liam's father tips him when ever he comes visiting. His father owns one of the biggest oil companies in London and rumor has it that Liam has properties and companies of his own and he will control all of them when he turns twenty and he was just nineteen. In order to settle our differences, the school dared us to date for a while, I refused dating someone as arrogant as Liam but since he doesn't give up, he called me to a corner on the day for the prom. How about I place you on a monthly allowance just to date me, I know you wouldn't say no". Thinking about how useful the money will be to me I had accepted the offer with a condition that we will only act romantic in school and go about our normal lives when we are out of school. The plan worked and no one suspected us; everyone thought we had settled our differences and were so in love. They even tagged us as the cutest couple in school. Little did they know that I didn't like him a bit. I played my part well, laughing at his jokes and pretending to enjoy our time together. But deep down, I was counting the days until I could break free from this charade. This continued until Liam's twentieth birthday, and I had not prepared for what was to come; it indeed took me by surprise. As the day approached, excitement buzzed in the air. Friends were planning a huge surprise party, and I was expected to be the star of the show, the loving girlfriend. On the night of the party, I watched as Liam entered, his face lighting up with joy. Everyone cheered, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt. But then, as the night unfolded, something unexpected happened. Liam pulled me aside, his eyes sparkling with a mixture of hope and uncertainty. He leaned in closer, and for the first time, I felt a flicker of something real. In that moment, everything changed.
