She urged them to quicken their pace, leading them through passages that seemed to twist and turn in impossible ways. As they walked past crumbling walls of stone and fragile wooden beams, the darkness played tricks on their eyes. Shadows danced, taking on menacing forms that left Eva's heart with fear. But she pushed her fear aside, focusing all her energy on protecting her family. Suddenly, a loud crash echoed through the tunnels, followed by footsteps approaching rapidly. Eva's heart leapt into her throat as she urged her siblings to run. Panic coursed through her veins, her thoughts consumed by the urgency to keep Millie, Eddie, and their newborn baby safe. They stumbled around sharp corners, their feet slipping on damp stones, as they desperately searched for an exit. Eva's mind replayed Sebastian's voice, guiding her through the intricate maze. "There's a hidden passageway," he had told her. "Look for a carved wolf symbol above a small alcove. That's the way out."
