IN THE BEGINNING,
There was peace, calmness, love, hatred and you know how things were supposed to be until these creatures were formed, they called them the night creatures, coz they're from the dark, strike when it's night. They don't appear when it's daylight, they were the Vampires. We don't call them the Vampires but rather the killers' coz their main aim is to kill and suck blood from humans.
Once the peace were broken, everyone now afraid of the dark, refused to go out nor work in the dark. Some cared about their lives, stayed at home with the windows and doors shut, children bounded with their parents WHILE those that doesn't valued their lives will rather found themselves been killed. One way or the other the Killers still had a way to break into houses to feed.
No security and no where to run, the Mayor of the city has issued that anyone who can capture the 'killers' and have them killed will be rewarded more than the Mayor's wealth. Dollars were agreed upon and this could be capable of feeding themselves and providing for their families coz this opportunity were rare from the Mayor to say. The brave ones began to haunt, they called them the 'haunters' and we're highly respected by the citizens. Without them, it could be the opposite of life for them. It was rather a tasked and volunteered job working for the Mayor, some of the haunters were lucky enough to kill more than the expected numbers, while some of them lost their precious lives.
But the Mayor doesn't care about the lives of the citizens but that of his families and friends, he wasn't willing to loose them that's why he has to increase the price for the greatest haunter to kill the most Vampires. Although competitive, but so dangerous.
The dead ones (haunters) were being conducted a memorial service with their brave pictures been hung on the wall for others to see, probably they were called heroes and taught in the schools.
These haunters were more like a life saver to the people. Everyone thought it ended, when two brave couple haunters, they were husband and wife, skilled, great, Wealthy and highly respected. They killed thousands of these night creatures by setting up deadly traps, they called them the 'deadly haunters'. The Mayor loves them and greatly awarded them the biggest share more than the others. Well there was a smell of jealousy seen in the other eyes of these haunters, their plot were to get rid of them. They tried to be like them but loses their lives at the process.
But unfortunately they died, when they were been tricked to go to the woods. Again, no one was told to go there, coz they may be a possibility of death rate, the couples died when they were battling the 'killers' to get out. Their bodies were lost in the woods and no where to be found, no one was willing to go there or else they can also die too, it was risky. A short clip of their recorded death when the Vampires split them in halves. It was also a record that lots of the 'killers'(vampires) died with them.
Their memorial was greatly honored by the Mayor himself, every year they celebrated their braveness. Their death honored the stop of the killers. They wasn't any death rate, no sign of Vampires attacking the people, everywhere was peaceful just the way everyone wanted it to be and the people were meant to go back to their Normal lives. They don't know how they did it. No more killers, no money for the haunters. The Mayor actually forgotten about them...
