Brandon lived all his life in darkness, being the strongest alpha of all, a king to the wolves and an important businessman in the human kingdom. After centuries of loneliness, one day a little human girl appears, which Brandon immediately recognizes as his mate. But she is human, so the Alpha King despises her from the first moment, since Brandon hates all humans, considering them weak and useless, intruders in a world that should be only for wolves. Amanda, a young human girl with a terrible past and many secrets, is reunited with Brandon on her 17th birthday. But she is no longer a helpless child, and she will teach the great Alpha king that not all humans are helpless. For Amanda has a great power, which no other wolf can match, not even Brandon. *** "Take her away, I want her out of my sight." Brandon ordered his servant with disgust, looking at the girl in front of him. "Brandon, she's just a child." The servant reproached. "I don't care, put her away before I kill her myself." Brandon shouted angrily. "Sir, please!" Amanda stammered nervously, looking at the big wolf with fear. And that was where they saw for the first time, a werewolf full of hatred, and a human with no will to live.
Brandon's POV
I stand up slowly to resume my walk to the office window. I close my eyes trying to find peace for the first time in so long, but it's impossible, my Alpha will never find peace.
I look outside and find a dark and gloomy night. I observe carefully how the snowflakes cover the branches of the trees of the mansion, leaving them white.
I hear how someone is heading towards my office, to what I give myself in expectation of hearing the typical knocks on the door.
"You can come in, Isaac" I speak in a neutral tone before I hear the knocking.
"Brandon, I need you downstairs. Now." He mumbled, then vanished without another word.
Without further ado, I make my way out of the office, closing the doors behind me. However, the scent of chocolates and mints waft into my nostrils, causing me to clench my jaw tightly, as well as the doorknob.
I feel my wolf purr from the joy of feeling his mate nearby. To which I quickly leave towards the place where my Beta, Isaac, is.
I watch as the employees fade away in my presence, but I don't blame them. However, when I get to the place, I open my eyes with a bang when I see the owner of that exquisite smell. I look at her with eagerness, however, I cannot help but feel the bile stagnate in my throat, an insignificant human.
"A human...?" I growl furiously.
But it is inevitable to feel that very delicious aroma invade me.
In front of me stands a little girl who is about seven or eight years old. Her feminine features are genuinely tender and exotic, with a completely shaped and perfect nose. And the delicacy of her lips is simply a lovely pink. The girl's hair is brown and the length of it reaches her small hips, accompanied by beautiful curls. And her little body; dirty from the mud. As is the garment she wears, which is only a white dress with no details down to her knees.
An involuntary growl broke free from my lips as I continued to smell her scent.
Suddenly, I see her sapphire-colored eyes widen suddenly from hearing me growl, at the same time as my eyes gradually darken from her unusual presence.
I look at her expressionless, as she stands in front of me, watching me shivering from the cold of the night.
"Girl, I recommend you get out of my sight." My wolf roared.
"Sir, please!" She stammered nervously, looking at me with fear.
But I didn't listen to her, deciding it was better to interrupt her.
"Take her away, I want her out of my sight." I order my Beta servant with disgust, looking at the girl in front of me.
"Brandon, she's just a child." The Beta rebuked as he looked at me pleadingly.
"I don't care, put her away before I kill her myself!" I shouted angrily as I stormed out of the room and slammed the door.
And that's where I saw for the first time my little mate, a human with no will to live.
"It can't be! She's a damn child." I exclaimed in annoyance, slamming the office door as I entered.
Moon goddess, why have you condemned me like this? I formulate in my mind angrily.
"Brandon!" Isaac shouted as he stormed in.
I look up and stare at him impassively.
"What?" I ask, almost on the verge of exploding.
"You just let your mate go, are you an imbecile? She's the moon of our herd." He proclaimed, spewing venom from his mouth.
I rush up to him and grab him by the collar of his shirt to whip him against the wall.
"You talk to me that way again and I swear I'll kill you." I pronounce slowly showing all my fangs, being more than explicit when I am talking to him: "And I don't care if you are my Beta." I swear, releasing him suddenly so he falls to the ground.
I listen to him coughing as he tries to catch his breath. Then I can get out of that place where I just condemned myself for letting my mate go, after so many years of loneliness.

Amanda's POV
9 years later.
I smile with a warm smile as I hear the joyful singing of the employees, while they give me lots of hugs and gifts.
"I told you, it wasn't necessary to do all this, but still, I thank you." I happily declare as I hear Eiden's reproaches in my mind for saying such things.
Suddenly, I see Mr. Isaac enter accompanied by his wife, Katherin, into the room where it's a struggle to walk through all the papers and balloons that were scattered around the place.
"You deserve this and much more for your seventeen years!" Katherin shouted happily as she wrapped me in an affectionate hug.
Instantly I let go of the balloon in my hands and Eiden just goes somewhere else, as always, Katherin was to overwhelm him with her shrieking.
"Help... I... I'm choking..." She stammered, trying to get out of her arms, so he could catch his breath.
"Kath..." Isaac warned amused while smiling sideways.
"I'm so excited!" She explained as she let go of me, then carefully wiped away her tears of joy. "Our little girl is growing up!" She exclaimed even happier, to which I just laughed.
The love and affection they gave me nine years ago were wonderful, they treated me like a daughter, even though I was not. However, my thoughts are overwhelmed by the face that comes to my mind.
"Isaac..." I call out to him in a faint whisper.
He looks at me expectantly as he hugs his wife.
"He's back..." I nervously reassure him.
"Follow me to the office, please." He says relaxed as he leads me into the office.
I sit looking straight ahead, then watch as Isaac settles into his chair.
"So that man showed up in your dreams again." He says with total amusement looking at me over his glasses.
"I don't see anything funny in all this! And yes, he did design to show up. Exactly, I don't know what dreams mean, they have become more constant... Maybe it's just my nonsense, but it's just that..." I hesitated excitedly, only for all traces of joy to be erased from my mind. "I don't know, Isaac..." I end resignedly as I jump to my feet.

"There will be no falling in love, we will only act as a loving couple when we are in public, we will share a room to make it believable, but no intimacy, touching is off-limits. We'll only have sex once a month, and that's solely to produce an heir. You won't interfere in my business, and I won't interfere in yours.
