Being a hard-headed spoiled bratty young lady childish CEO, Brittany Saludes. She's in love with her childhood friend who hates her the most, aside from owning and running a company. Brittany flew out away from England to Philippines just to court the Mr. CEO, Octavius Sargent Guevarra. If she doesn't find a way to court the man then who will? There is no one else but her. Because she is madly in love with her Mr. CEO.
Third person's POV
She confidently walked through the entrance of the Guevarra Building. She almost killed people in her overflowing so-called cheap Figlia black heels, which are her favorite Linda Heel Sandals. For her, it's just a cheap, but for other people, it will be very expensive!
Her silky hair is saying hello down to her waist while her shiny leather red business blazer is seeking attention to her bottom, shiny red pants. She's slaying it!
The guards were welcoming her presence, but she just raised her eyebrow, ignoring the gossip inside.
The bouquet and a small paper bag containing a ring in her left hand also caught attention to everbody.
She stopped at the information desk, intending to show the staff her screaming Marc Jacobs handbag on her right.
She knocked the table three times and removed her cat-eye sunglasses.
She glances at the staff in front of her and makes her eye roll away and rolls it in the air.
"May we help you?" asked the woman in uniform. While recognizing her, she shot her a deadly look. She was shocked!
Laughed in disbelief at the woman's gesture.
"Excuse me? You don't know who the drop-dead gorgeous Brittany Saludes?" she snapped.
The woman gasped in surprise. People looked at each other, and a woman came quickly and elbowed the woman in uniform.
"Miss Saludes!" The woman stood and slightly pushed the uniformed novice.
"Fuck yeah," she answered boredly.
The woman panicked and quickly dialed their boss's number. But before it rang, a deep voice demanding attention was heard from behind Brittany.
"S-sir," said the woman, and the staff bowed.
Brittany's previously cold expression had now turned into a big smile before turning to the man.
But just like that, her shoulders slumped, knowing that this was not Octavius Sargent Guevarra. Her smile gradually disappeared as the man in front of her laughed.
"Sexy ass, Brittany." and looked at her seat and whistled, then smiled foolishly.
"Where is Sarge?" she asked boringly, ignoring what was said and the scanning of his body.
"I'm here."
She gave him a dark look and said, "I'm disappointed though, Cedric."
"Come on, Brit, it's not what you think---HEY!"
She turned her back on the man in front of him and turned the question to the staff, "Where is Sarge?"
"H-he's in the office. He's with Miss La-Laurel."
"Who is that bitch?" She asked calmly and artfully looked at the nail of the hand, she seemed to so calm, but deep inside her, it was spiced with anger and jealousy.
"O-one of M-Mr. Guevarra's business partners." stuttered the woman's answer.
"Yeah, and they're currently dating by the way." Cedric added.
She suddenly got bored with this. She thought that Cedric had left. But she was even more annoyed when he said, "They are currently dating." What the hell?!
Sarge is cheating on me! she thought.
She death glares Cedric, and her face is totally a mess while running through the elevator.
"How dare you, bitch," she murmured.
When the elevator opened, she stormed Octavius's office, full of anger and jealousy.
The elevator opens, and she furiously walks through his office.
The laughing on the couch suddenly appeared to her. She wanted to approach the woman who's back was turned to her, so she quickly went inside and pulled the woman's hair.
"The heck!?"
Sarge stood up in shock and stopped Brittany from pulling Maxine Laurel's hair.
It's a waste of her preparation if this girl will just ruin her return home from England. How dare she flirt, Sarge?
"Britany!"
When Sarge separated the woman from Brittany, her jaw snapped at him. She just gave Sarge a 'how dare you-look' as well as at the girl Sarge was holding in his arm.
"Maybe we'll continue this next week, Sarge." The woman said, as she looked at her intently, she just rolled her eyes and she almost spit at the girl. How dare she call Octavius by that name?
"Bitch, never return," she swore.
After Maxine came out, it was Liam who held her sensei. He can't bear to look at Brittany for what she just did---did she really do it?!
He couldn't believe it.
"Why did you do that?" Sarge stated unequivocally.
"Do what?" Brittany happily gave the flower she had forgotten to hold. Sarge shook his head, "Unbelievable."
"You almost ended my career."
But Brittany just seems deaf. She sat on the couch, but before that, Sarge was shocked to see her shaking the couch and the alcohol coming out and spraying the area around the couch that Maxine was sitting on.
Sarge was just watching her, and worse, she didn't sit on the sofa that had been cleaned and sat on the sofa where Sarge was sitting earlier.
Sarge held his head in frustration.
___________-------____________
After the two of them stared at each other for a minute, Sarge still looked the same at Brittany, looking at her nails.
Why did this kid come home? he thought.
In Sarge's eyes, Brittany is just little kid. Aside from her sophisticated dressing and model-like walk, he sees the woman differently. This is just a mean-spirited and spoiled brat. You wouldn't think Brittany is a CEO like him, and he is against it.
Brittany Saludes is not so firm when it comes to business and employees. When you're ugly, you're automatically fired. That is the standard of Maria Brittany Saludes.
"Aren't you happy to see me?" Brittany's tone was sad, but the focus was still on the nail.
"Yes." Sarge answered emphatically.
"Then be happy." Brittany looked happy and took her seat.
"I'm not happy to see you, kid."
"Sarge!" he artfully disobeyed.
"I despise that girl,"
he exclaimed, ignoring her.
"You don't care." Sarge answered.
"I do care!" she said and stood up.
Sarge is reading the file he's holding.
"You are not my girlfriend. Stop acting like we are connected. Remember, I'm angry at what you did recently. " His demeanor was calm, but there was anger in his tone.
"Why? Because you two are dating. " emphasizing the last word in bitter tone.
Sarge knew she was jealous. Throughout his life, Brittany did nothing and he's just ignoring her. His world only became quiet when she left for England three years ago to train for the handling of the company her grandfather had bequeathed to her. But he keeps receiving news from her with his cousins Cedric, Rowan, and Arci.
And now she is here in front of him again, and it wasn't a fake.
I think this is going to be a whole mess again.
