(Her hell life)
ONE
Erskineville, Australia.
It was 8:30 pm on a Saturday, and the street was deserted with very dim streetlights which seemed to view no one's shadow if people were there but everyone had earlier gone to bed. You could hear sparrows and crickets chirping and a cool breeze circulating the city, that's to feel how lonely the street was, but yet the night was still young.
Bill's mansion stood here in the street. The house was in an elevated position, overlooking the town. It had seven large rooms in it and in one of the rooms, Lora stood, staring out of the window as different thoughts ran through her mind. She was an average lady in a pink mini nightie which didn't cover the cleavage of her breasts entirely. Her glossy dark hair was scarcely scattered all over her pretty weary face. Her lips were rosy and perfect for kissing, and her eyes... any other dude, excluding Bill, would stiffen just staring into those ocean eyes she's got.
The room she stood in was large enough to accommodate several people and the colorful lights, allotted beauty to it that anyone would want to die in here.
Lora didn't care about how beautiful the room looked because it inflicted nothing but pain and discomfort in her poor life that she tagged "beautiful hell" She was the only one in the room for now. She knew that she would surrender to Bill as soon as he comes into the room and in no time. Not that she wanted it, but it had become her anytime and everyday responsibility, so she doesn't dare to rebuff.
How can she make things right? What's the possible way to stop Bill from hurting her? Physically, she was fit but inwardly, she was going through anything that was worst than hell. She was tied up between Earth and hell, this mansion was her hell on Earth! She cries every single minute of every day that passes by but it seems like it was a huge mistake coming into the world. Why is all this happening to her? Lora was still staring out of the window while all these strange thoughts flowed through her mind. By now, her eyes were already welled up with painful tears.
Lora stared at the moon and stars. She allowed the tears to flow freely to her chin. Then she started wondering why the moon and stars weren't hearing her voice. Or could it be that they are hearing but not listening? Bill had suffered enough for crying out loud and everything stares at her without doing anything? She had even gone as far as reporting this sexual assault to several stations but as powerful and dangerous as her husband Bill, could be, he contaminated them with bribery, so Lora could do nothing other than accept her fate. If only she knew the world was this cruel, she would have died inside her momma's womb!
Now, she adjusted from staring out of the window to staring at the gigantic mirror that stood there. She saw the image in it and how miserable it appeared. She wondered why a lady as elegant as she would be going through hell. All the years she had lived, she knew no definition of Serenity and once again, she wished she never existed. The worst part of everything was that, she had no parents, no siblings she could complain to... the only one she called family was Paa, an aged man who took care of her right from her childhood. According to Paa, Lora was found lying by the roadside. It was obvious that she was either abandoned by her parents or they were murdered. It was just entangled.
Again, having Paa as a family wasn't the issue, the issue was the fact that Bill restricted her from having any liaison with him since she was married, if not he would skin the old man alive. Nanny Isha was her only comforter. The only one who offers a shoulder for Lora to lean on, sacrificing her time for her even though she was just a nanny.
Soon, Lora felt the need for a chilled glass of water. The thought of contacting nanny Isha through the telephone flickered across her mind but no, the nanny must have slept and she wouldn't want to disturb her regarding her age. Gingerly, she trod out of the room and traipsed along the long corridor that was connected to her room until she got to the kitchen where the fridge stood. Quietly, she opened it, released a chilled bottled water a glass cup from it, poured an adequate amount of water into the glass then gulped it down her throat at once. She exhaled sharply. Thankfully, she was regaining some energy back until she sighted Bill in the garden, through the kitchen window, lighting cigarettes and sipping from a glass of whisky, her heart cut off with a jerk. What even frightened her the most was that the devil was already coming in to devour her!
Gingerly and rapidly, she started making her way back to the room before Bill gets there because sometimes, he acts like an apparition and if he happens to get there before her, only she knows what would become of her. Yes, that was the beast she called her husband.
Lora was in the room in a jiffy. She paced to and fro as her breath came in short pants. If there was a way to get out of this mess, she would have considered it a long time ago but no one, under his control walked away freely.
"Woman!"
Bill's authoritative tone of voice came from behind that it jerked Lora back to reality. Slowly and frighteningly, she turned to meet the rage in his eyes which almost made her pee.
"What time is it?"
He inquired as he started approaching the nervous-looking lady while she gradually took a few steps backward. He was shirtless, with liquids walking down his body at a pace. The whiff of cigarettes and alcohol oozed out of his body. He got to where Lora was standing, held and looked her through with lustful eyes that she was unable to move an inch.
"It's time I have you on the bed"
He spat, believing she understands what he meant.
"Bill please, don't do this again. I am not feeling strong enough" she cried and he instantly dashed her with a hefty slap which made her stumble.
"You know you can't tell me what to do and what not to do when I urge for your body"
He bent his head on her chest, lowered his lips on her cleavage, and began kissing it. He wasn't in the mood, yet he wanted to be. Lora was putty in Bill's hands that's why she was easily controlled. Bill bites his lower lip as he adores her alluring figure, his fingers running through her body seductively in strokes and supporting it with slow kisses. This was the only time he realize how beautiful Lora was.
"Stop it, you are hurting me"
She confessed and again, Bill hits her and she landed heavily on the bed while he forcefully got on top of her body.
"Lora tell me you're mine"
"I...I am all urs Bill" she cried
"Tell me you can't live without me,"
Bill said, looking at her with lustful eyes.
"I can't..." she sobs "live without you Bill"
And in no time, he started making love to her while she cried in pain. When they reached the climax, they lay exhaustedly on the bed trying to catch their breath.
"I love you, Lora"
Lora looked sideways at him, she knew he was lying and Bill blinked twice trying to rephrase his word. Did I just say that to her? Damn, I must be crazy! He thought and straightened from the bed.
"Get dressed and go to sleep" He threw her nightie at her and headed for the bathroom leaving her to sulk alone.
