The mating system has always been an angel mated to an angel till I was born and tagged the course of my kingdom, with two odd powers, I could predict death and as well read the minds of every creature I came across. How could I be mated to a Demon king, death himself, the very creature that was the enemy to the angels. --- In a world full of mystery, sexual relations, war and love; two separate worlds struggle but are fated to be together. 'An angel' and 'Death' find themselves on earth as mates despite the nature of the weak angel in human form and the haughty owner of souls, their love blossoming in harmony, would faith be enough to keep them together or will their worlds fight against their union?
Hazel's POV
I brushed my hair off my shoulders, a yawn escaped my lips, with my eyes still slightly closed I made out an image of a man standing right above me, I rubbed my eyes forcefully and stared in awe at the well defined muscles in front of me and then I raised my line of view to his face, I let out a low gasp when I saw his eyes.
"How was your night?!." His voice rang in my head, my eyes began to spin and my mind went blank.
I was clearly awake and I could still see him but I felt like I was frozen, with no idea what to do or say. A smile straightened his lips and then he sat beside me.
"How was your night?!." He repeated and just like a spell that was casted on me I began to recall all that had happened. I pushed myself back and rolled, I felt a space underneath my back though my legs were still on the bed.
I could tell I was falling but how high was this bed of his!, and just in a second I hit something hard, I had closed my eyes when I realised I was falling. The moment I hit the hard surface I opened my eyes with the thought of he had saved me but instead I had fallen on the floor with my left foot partly on the bed. I growled in pain, holding my sides and tears dropped from my eyes in pain.
"You should be more careful!." He chuckled.
'What a heartless man he is!!.' I thought in anger while trying to get back on my feet or at least on the bed. But none of my attempts were futile.
"Help me!!." I yelled at him but instead he stood there staring down at me with a smirk on his face like he was pleased with what he saw.
'Where was my manners, I was yelling when I was meant to beg.' I thought sarcastically
"Please help me!." I cried and just as the word stumbled out of my mouth I watched his eyes soften and his hand stretched out to help me.
I stared at him trying to figure out who exactly he was, my neck turned slightly while I tried to break eye contact with him. My brain ran in overdrive while I tried to process where I could be in and who the strange man was.
"Who are you?." I said in a murmur while trying to sound calm.
"Guess."
I could feel veins popping up at the side of my neck due to how irritated and agitated such a reply had made me feel.
I shook my head and turned to him with raised eyebrows. His soft pitch black eyes caught my attention but I could not possibly be admiring the eyes of a man I knew nothing about, though I found myself doing just that. It felt as though gravity had found a new law to obey as I was slowly pulling towards him as though it was a tugging feeling.
"Who are you?."As hard as i tried to keep my tune down and my voice calm i could no longer hold back the fright that had occupied my brain as though it was a virus, but one thing that got me thinking was what the odd attraction i felt towards him.
"Death." His voice blew into my ears with a slight chuckle.
My eyes widened in fear, i gradually pushed myself off the bed, i took to my heal, running as fast as i could, with my arms swinging at each side.
My eyes could barely see where i was heading to due to how crowded they were. I pushed the door open just to realise i had taken my first step out of the room where i had woken up.
'How huge is that room?.
I shook the thought out of my head while trying to focus on the task at hand which was gettin as far away from this strange man, though i knew nothing of this civilization i was willing to run out to the streets which was what i would do.
I began to hear noises, it felt like running from the dark part of the tunnel into the light. I was slowly running out of the house or so i thought.
"What is this ridiculousness!!." I heard my voice echoed around the large room that was filled with at least a hundred people or even more. Even as the large amount of people and their goods or what so ever they had in their hands, the room was still so large that my voice echoed as though i was a single choir in an empty hall trying to hit a high note.
With all this playing in my head, i had long forgotten why i was breathless, until i heard a loud thunderous voice that shocked me back into reality.
"Bring her to me!!." The man instrucked.
I shook my head and facepalmed my forehead to make sure i was back into the reality of being on the run. I took deep breaths trying to keep myself conscious as i pushed through and mauved the crowed.
I pushed a black wooden door open and it felt as though i had walked right into paradies, the heavenly light blinded my eyes making me hiss in pain but unlike any other pain i had ever felt, this was sudding and loving as though it had kissed my skin delightfully.
But there was no such time to describe how grateful i was for being blinded by a light. My legs moved before i could process my thought and just like a frightened cat i jumped out and ran wild not minding my status as a Princess.
I ran into an empty store, i slammed the glassdoorad be staring at each one of them carryon with their trading but at the sound of his voice they all turned to me, with this dull eyes as though they were weak
"Why did you kidnap me?!." I asked him while in his arms.
He carried me like an infant into the bathroom and laid me with my clothes in the bathtub filled with soap and water.
I tried not to complain even though I could feel my underwear beginning to get wet and my clothes completely soaked.
"I just took who belonged to me." He replied and turned around to leave.
What did he mean by what belonged to him?, when did I become an object to be owned by him or anyone else.
I waited patiently for him to leave the room but I didn't hear him leave, neither did I hear him in the room, I pushed myself up and took off my wet clothes and underwear that had stolen a large quantity of water from the bathtub, I turned on the shower and then got into the bathtub while the water refilled.
I closed my eyes and immediately began to recall the commotion that had happened the previous day.
^^^
I had woken up to the yelling of my father, I rushed out with a robe covering my nightwear, I stared in awe at my parents who were engaging in a serious argument, I looked around at the elders who as well were busy arguing but there was one man who sat down with his legs crossed who seemed not bothered about a thing.
"Go back into your chambers!!." My father yelled the moment his eyes laid on me.
I wonder what made him so angry but I did as he said, I immediately turned around to leave when the very man who was seated stood in front of me with his eyes scanning me. The room had fallen silent while I stared back at him.
He licked his lips and approached me, he was so fast that I could not move away, his lips fell on my forehead and then he spoke.
"She's mine." His tone was so calm that if he was a rock dropped in a river it wouldn't make a sound.
"She can not be!!, she's a guardian angel and you're the demon king, you're dead!!." My father yelled.
I suddenly began to feel a burning sensation inside of me, I took deep breaths trying to calm my nerves but something kept burning inside of me.
My father took a step forward, with his guard beside him, he pulled out his sword and held it up towards the man he had called a demon king, he began to swing the sword around, he approached the strange man with great speed and anger,I could tell he was about to stab him from the way he moved.
I felt something different, something very new to me, and all I can remember was I stood in front of the strange man, and right before the sword could hit me, I somehow stopped it in mid air and then threw it far from the reach of my father.
^^^
"Why did I save him?." I asked myself, while trying to turn off the shower.
"Because you were meant to." I gasped in shock, his voice was right above my head, I buried my body underneath the water with fear but all he did was turn off the shower, he brought in a towel and then left.
I heaved a deep breath, I got out of the bathtub, with the towel around me.
"You can wear the hoodie in the closet and the shorts." He told me when I suddenly stopped with realisation, he had just nabbed me without any chance to pack.
I ran into the closet to get dressed, I wore the pair of woman booty shorts I found which gave me the idea he must have a girlfriend or even a wife!, but for the hoodie I was confused which to wear.
The closet door flung open, his legs moved majestically, and with his hands moving suit, his eyes didn't leave my face, with his lips in a straight line and his eyes staring, I could not tell his mood but he sure had a strong aura.
He grabbed my waistline and pinned me to the wall. I struggled to keep my lungs receiving air.
"Wear this." He said and turned around to leave.
I watched her place her cigarette in an ashtray and take a step closer while I continued dancing on the pole. I heard the sound of her palm hitting against each other as she applauded. “Get down.” She spoke with a stern voice and an unreadable look on her face. I wasn’t ready to argue with one of the highest paying customers so I did as she said. She turned her back towards me and walked into the darkness and I mindlessly followed her. I stood in the darkness without knowing what to expect and neither could I see her. It happened so fast and I felt my back pressing against the wall that was once across from where I previously stood. “I don’t like the way they stare and fantasise about your body.” She whispered and I couldn’t help but get turned on by how dominant she was. “But I love the way you gawk at me when you see me take off my robe but must especially when I dance.” I bit my lips trying to hold back my passion. ___ Sent by her stepmother to bring down Genevieve Rodríguez as an undercover agent for an old drug queen, Cattleya is found crazily in love with Genevieve, her dark knight. “I can’t do it!!.” Cattleya cried. “You can’t what!?.” Her step mother asked her angrily.
