" Oops! ... I'm sorry" I apologized to the man I bumped into and moved to the side a little. Where is Abena!!!?
I have been waiting for my friend Abena for the past twenty minutes, she's used to keeping people waiting.
" Abena, I don't think I can wait here anymore. I think this car is trailing me. Meet me at our spot."
I texted Abena and started to walk away from where I was standing initially, I kept looking back and back and this goddamn car kept following me. I think I'm in danger.
I started to speed up the pace, running and running with no direction. I ran into a store breathing heavily, I walked to the clothes section, picked an oversized black hoodie, and put it on. I wore the hood and sat down for a while, I was already tired
I'm just going to have to wait here till they leave. I stood up and started walking around the store so as not to look suspicious, I still kept the hood on.
A man in a suit approached me. I looked down from his neatly polished shoes to his neatly ironed suit pants to his Fancy and expensive suit jacket and his face. He is wearing a nose mask with his hands folded behind him.
" Follow me", he said in his husky male voice.
" Why should I?" I asked my heart almost beating out of my chest
" I don't like to talk much, " he said, still maintaining his balanced position.
" Get away from me or I will scream" I gathered the courage to reply before kicking him hard in the knee and attempting to run.
He didn't even bulge, I guess my kick wasn't hard enough to hurt him. I felt his strong grip on my left arm. He slowly turned me and pulled me closer to him. He opened his suit jacket and brought out a gun. He placed the cold metal on my ribs and smiled trying to avoid attention from the other people in the store
" Ok," I replied and gave up, following him out of the store.
He led me into the car that had been trailing me all evening. There were two other men in the car, the car screens were tinted, and I could barely see the outside through the back window.
The man who led me into the car tied my hands to the back and also taped my mouth. I was already really tired and sweaty from all the running, foolish of me to think I could outrun a car.
" Drive," the man said and the car started to move.
I had a lot of questions in my mind. Where the f**k are these guys taking me to? Why were they after me? What did I do? What the hell is happening? Am I dreaming or something? As soon as my hands are untied I will pinch every part of my body.
I knew my father was involved in some very dangerous businesses with dangerous people before he died. I thought they made my whereabouts secret enough, how did they find me? What the fuck is happening?
" Hey !! Get up. That same husky voice woke me. I guess I fell asleep. He untied my hands and removed the tape from my lips forcefully, that hurt.
I didn't forget, I started to pinch myself hard.
" Get down, " he said, stepping out of the car. I did what I was told to and followed the man. As much as I hate the miserable life I have lived. I do not want to die. Maybe this is an opportunity for my life to change, I just hope these guys don't kill me in the end.
I think this is an airport. We walked into the airport and walked through a door, a man in a fancy suit and white Gloves greeted us.
" Good evening sirs and miss," he said.
I just smiled in turn. He walked us towards a plane and I just followed the men into the plane. I walked inside and found a man in gray suit pants and a blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves eating a fancy American dish. Hmmm my mouth watered for the meal, I haven't eaten a meal this good since I left America.
" Good job ... take the girl inside, " the man said. I'm starting to think this is a private jet.
He led me into a really fancy bedroom. The man who abducted me from the store asked me to stay there and showed me the bathroom also before he finally left.
I landed on the soft foam and almost slept off when the same man walked in with a plate of food in his hands and bottled water.
" Hey eat this ", he said, placing the food and the water on the table and walking out.
Mac and cheese, I'm so happy. I haven't eaten this since I left America. I rushed the food quickly and thought of showering before I went to sleep. It's so funny how I'm so comfortable with these men, whatever they do with me just has to be better than the life I lived before now.
I removed my clothes without considering that anyone could enter. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower letting the cold water wash all the sweat off my body. Just then I remembered Abena, I needed to call her. She has to make sure maMamases her drugs.
I rushed out of the bathroom and picked up a neatly folded towel I found in the bathroom, tied it around my body, and went into the room to search my pockets for my phone. Omg, it's nowhere to be found, maybe those grumpy men took it. It must have fallen while I was running. It was in my back pocket. Now I'm stranded with several men, in an airplane with no means of contacting Abena or Mama
The man walked in again.
" Are you fine ?" He asked me, seeing my worried expression.
Wow. The first time he used appropriate words with me.
" What is your name ?" I asked, completely disregarding his question.
" I can't tell you that ma'am "
" Why ?" I asked him, confused.
Miles was livid. His father had to be joking, right? Marrying a nineteen-year-old girl? Who does that? He was twenty when she was born, for God's sake. The very idea disgusted him. Not because of what anyone would say-Miles didn't care about public opinion. Reclusive, cold, rude, and emotionally unavailable, he had no interest in the world's judgment. But this? This felt wrong. She was undeniably beautiful-soft curves in all the right places, her presence igniting desires he thought he could suppress. Suddenly, Miles found himself fighting not just his morals, but his erection. But she was his wife. He could touch her, right? Or at least look? She was going to be his undoing
