"We are here, Miss." The cab driver's voice brought Roxanne back to reality. She had been contemplating her decision to work in Club D'lux as a pole dancer. "Here's your money." She stretched out a five dollar note to the man who gladly took it. Roxanne stepped out of the cab clutching her purse as a way of numbing her nervousness. Two bulky muscled men in suits stood at the club's entrance. They had some sort of wire connected to their dark shades. Roxanne noticed the pods in their ears. She wondered if they had started as she couldn't hear loud music blasting from the insides.
Taking a deep breath, she walked up to the men. "Hello gentlemen." She greeted. One of the men looked her head to toe. She was dressed in free pants and a blue sweatshirt. Her golden hair was tied up in a messy ponytail. "May I see your reservation card?" One of the men queried. "Uh.. I don't have a reservation." "Appointment?" The bulkier one asked. "Yes, uh I have an appointment with Madam Loo." Roxanne tried her best to hide her nervousness. "Name please?" "Roxanne.. Roxanne Santos." The man made a quick call to confirm. After a few seconds of call conversations, he let her in. There was the music blast she had been waiting to hear. The club was soundproof. There were masked waitresses putting on flashy colored bikinis and carrying trays of expensive wines from table to table. Some of the waitresses flirted with the customers. Roxanne's eyes scanned the clubhouse for Madam Loo. She soon saw the lady sashaying towards her. Madam Loo wore her silky black hair in spring curls and was wearing a leopard print gown that had slit up to her thighs. The lady was voluptuous and had very bold makeup going on. "Good evening, Madam Loo." Roxanne greeted the lady. Madam Loo looked at her dressing, obviously disgusted by her appearance. "You are right on time, Roxanne. Come I'll take you to go get dressed." Madam Loo led her down to the dressing area. Other girls were getting dressed up. " Freddy." Loo snapped her fingers twice and a lanky guy with a bizarre haircut came running. "Fix her hair and makeup and get her something to wear. She goes on stage in twenty minutes." Loo radiated an air of authority. Roxanne already made up her mind not to cross her feisty boss. Freddy led her to an empty chair in front of a mirror and began to work his magic. He arranged her hair properly and gave her smoky eyeshadow and red lipstick. Roxanne couldn't recognize herself when he was done. She thought she looked like one of those foxy models that posed for magazines. "That's the wardrobe, baby girl. Pick whatever suits you. Oh and here's your mask." Freddy handed her a pink mask. Roxanne wanted ask why she needed a mask if she had makeup on but Freddy was whisked away by another female that had just arrived. Roxanne stared at the large closet filled with exotic clothes. Having just five minutes left, she went for a pink swimsuit. The swimsuit held her chest firmly and had a thick rope in the center joining with a skirt. Her stomach, sides and back were bare. She donned on her mask. "Quit looking like a fairy princess and get set. You are up." One of the dancers that had just finished performing said to her. The club's emcee called on Roxanne as the fairy princess. Roxanne was revealed on stage by an underground lift that took her up stage. Numerous eyes watched her. She gulped and took a deep breath as the song started. She walked sexily around the pole for some seconds. Her eyes glanced at the crowd again and found a particular one smiling at her. She quickly averted her gaze and began dancing. Jaxon stared at the amber contents of the brandy snifter and analyzed why he didn't want it. He sipped. It was tasteless. He couldn't appreciate it any more than he wasn't ready to appreciate the seductive efforts of the lady with him. Loo's outfit could arouse any human male. She leaned in to kiss him, giving him ample view of her bossoms. "What's wrong?" She asked him as she began to go low on her knees to work his zipper. The booth had covers on the sides so no one knew what was going on. He had no problems. He had money. Clothes. Cars. Women. Loo had a banging body and a crazy reputation in the city. Jaxon's eyes stayed glued to the sexy pole dancer on stage. He had finally seen a body that could compete with Loo's. He could tell that the dancer was shy from the way she had first started. Normally Loo's talented hands could stir him up in seconds. Tonight they just don't seem to work. "I'm not in the mood, Loo." He said to her as he gently removed her hands from his pants. He wasn't in the mood or was he just in the mood for someone else? His eyes were still glued on the dancer. Loo immediately got up and kissed his lips. "I'll be back stage with the girls, if you need me." She winked at him and walked out of the booth. Roxanne got catcalls and claps as she rounded up her dance. She took a bow and went down the stage straight to the changing room. "You were on fire, baby girl." Freddy said to her. "Thank you." Roxanne was left alone to change out of her clothes. Just as she took off her mask, someone approached her. He had blonde hair and was handsome. "You performed really well, princess." He said as his eyes roamed her body. "Thanks. I, uh have to change. Please excuse me Sir." Roxanne tried to move but the man held her tightly. "How about you give me a private show huh?" His mouth was close to her face and she could smell the alcohol in his breath. Roxanne pushed him backwards but he came swift on her, his lips forcefully trying to claim hers. Roxanne pushed with all her might but he wouldn't budge. She kicked his groin which made him stagger backwards a bit. "Ooh, I like them feisty." He came upon her again like a beast. Roxanne found a scissors and stabbed his hand with it. "You slut!" He cursed and pulled her hair backwards. Roxanne was anticipating his slap on her face but it didn't come. Instead, she heard groans and someone getting punched. Another man had come in and was punching the one who had tried to take advantage of her. "You'll leave her this instant, you son of a bitch!" He shoved the man roughly. "Your boss will hear about this." The abuser cursed before leaving the room. "I'm so sorry about that." The man who had rescued her said to her. Those eyes! Green and gold and black swirled together in a most unusual harmony- both dangerous and alluring. For a moment, she was lost in them. "Thank you for saving me, Sir." She finally got her voice to speak. " Pervs like him shouldn't be allowed in here." He replied with the sexiest smile she had ever seen. His phone began to ring as he spoke to her. "But I'll sure be doomed if he carries out his threat of telling my boss I stabbed him. Madam Loo will surely evoke this job." Roxanne was beginning to worry. The man picked his phone and placed it on his ear, still smiling at her. "That won't happen because I am the boss of your boss. Excuse me, Miss I've got to take this call." He gave her a smile and walked away speaking into the phone. Roxanne couldn't believe what she had just heard. How can a sexy man dressed in grey tee-shirt, faded jeans and beanie be the boss of her boss?
