Today is the happiest day of my life, I am just coming back from the cafe were I went to check the scholarship result and as predicted I was among the five student selected I'm so happy right now, happiness is an understatement to how I feel. Since I finish high school I thought I won't be able to go to college since we are very poor but thanks to my only friend who told me about Starlight college regular college intake and I tried the exam and then boom I pass.

Thank goodness I have been working a part time job so I could use the little money I saved to get the necessary things I need like stationary and some clothes.

Mama! I shouted for my mum, though she hate me since she believes I'm the reason for

her misfortune but who knows she might be happy to hear this good news from me.

Mama! I shouted one more time as I stood happily in the small cozy sitting room I was about rushing up to her room when I felt a shadow behind I turn back and the next thing I knew was that I fell yes I was been push by my little sister though I'm the senior but I can't do anything since she and my mum are always gang up against me.

Why screaming like a mad woman huh ? My little sister Bella said with a frown on her face and I dare not resort or I will receive the worst beating of my life and since today is a happy day for me I wouldn't want to spoil it with tears.

Bella I said with a gosh forgetting the fact that she was been rude a while ago. I got admitted into Starlight college I announce happily.

Thinking my sister will be happy with me Instead a big frown settle on her face. What did you just say, she asked with a doubt .

I got admitted into Starlight college bella I said again and the next I saw was her rushing to mum room, was she not happy with me I thought. I happily jog to my room and brought the safe though the money won't be much but at least she could get the necessary then maybe get a part time job not far from the school to support herself.

Her mum won't help so she has to do all this by herself.

Later in the evening during dinner normally I eat on the floor while my sister and mum used the dinning but now I was just invited to sit with them on the dinning table is this double celebration or what are they happy for me cause it has never happened.

We were dining with vegetables,rice and fish it my favorite this is really celebration.

Adriana my mum suddenly call and I look up at her she drop her fork then lock her fingers I was a bit tense cause the way she looks at me right now is kind of scary it was calm and the last time I saw my mum calm face was 8 years before my dad death.

You know I always maltreated you cause of my husband death which you cause, she said and I frown but quickly masked it up with a sorry expression.

But I never send you out from this house neither did I ever deny you food, she pause after saying that.

But I can try to act better like a mum you deserve she said and my eyes widen, Really! I exclaim and Bella who was sitting beside me scoff which i clearly heard she was annoyed.

But you have for something to earn it my mum spoke up and my eyes lit up and I nodded my head indicating that I will do anything.

You will give your scholarship to your sister my mum drop the bombshell and my eyes immediately wide with disbelief.

I was lost of words I gritted my teeth not wanting to insult this woman I call my mother.

I can't and will ever do it, I said and my mum immediately slap me hard on the cheek I look up to meet her gaze on for water to be poured on me it was bella doings.

I have take care of you since 11 when you kill our benefactor just this little favor I ask from you, you refuse is that how ungrateful you are my mum ranted.

I suffer for this you've never take care of me I bring money for feeding I pay the rent I do the house chores I still work in 3 different places just to do all this and I'm doing it alone so tell me how have you been of help. I shouted back for the first time and she was shock to see this side of me even bella was shock to even close her mouth.

I won't give my scholarship to bella and if you wants to send me out no problem you can afford the rent anyways with that I walk angrily to my room and took bags I got to the dining and saw them waiting in the entrance.

You can't leave you have nowhere to go, My mum said I look at her in disbelief but said nothing I walk out from the hell call home.

I know they might be thinking I will come back but fuck them even if I lose everything I won't step feet into this house with that I boarded a taxi no particular location so I just call Priyanka my friend she attends Starlight college too and she is the reason I will be attending that school too. After explaining my situation to her she agrees to let me stay over at get place.

Suddenly the taxi almost lose it control I gasped thinking it was the end for me, but then like miracle it stop I rush out first I needed to catch my breath cause I was so scared.

Stepping out I saw a handsome guy on a bike though I couldn't see his full face since he was putting on a helmet but his blue eyes which was visible it was so damn attractive and he was looking at me too I felt goosebumps immediately, his aura looks cold and scary

But I shouldn't be admiring him right he is the reason we almost had an accident and so I roll my eyes and turn to see the taxi driver gesturing me to enter the car which I did and he immediately turn back to look at me.

Ma'am next time don't look at a stranger that way, he is not someone to mess with the driver said with all seriousness in the world and with that he resume driving leaving me to think overt what he said.

I just don't want more trouble so I will just be careful, I thought and rested my back on the car sit but you know my consy ( conscience couldn't get over that blue eyes which gave me goosebumps earlier I could still feel my hair standing.
