He couldn't blame them because he knew they wanted the best for him.
He sighed and walked into the room where he heard his grandfather laughing. "I came to say goodbye."
"Oh, my boy, Grandma loves you sooo much!" She bent down and hugged him.
"Let him go!" Grandpa sounded irritated, while Grandma whispered, "He's just jealous."
He chuckled, and she released him, giving him a light kiss on the forehead. "May the Almighty be with you."
"Thank you, goodbye, Pa."
"Bye."
He got into the car and left for the airport.
********************
Once settled in the penthouse, he took in the lovely view. He pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and passed the time while going through the schedule created for him by his assistant: explore the beach, make new friends, try some cuisines, attend parties, get a good massage, date the masseuse, have good sex, get drunk... He deleted the email and even uninstalled the dating app from his phone. He didn't want anything to do with dating during his break from work; he needed rest but found it hard to relax. Sometimes, he felt as though love didn't exist, but his grandparents had proven that wrong over the years, and he envied them for it. He just hoped there was a woman out there who could handle him and his difficult attitude.
He had tried blind dates set up by his grandparents and one-night stands, but nothing worked out. He felt destined to be alone until the day he died. His parents had fallen in love through the typical boss-and-secretary dynamic, but he didn't mix business with pleasure. If he found himself falling for someone, they would be fired.
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
He woke up early today and spent the entire morning in the gym. He arranged for a chef to prepare breakfast for him. After showering and eating, he put on the beach outfit Josh had prepared for him.
"What do you think?" Mason asked.
"It would look good if you took off your shirt."
"What?"
"No offense, sir, but if you want a girl in your bed tonight, you need to flex those muscles. They'll be dying to get a chance with-"
"That's enough. Get in the car."
"Yes, sir."
He followed Josh's advice, and it kind of worked. When he stepped out of the car, he felt unsure of what to do. Should he play volleyball, tennis, build a sandcastle, swim...? Nothing seemed appealing; it all felt too childish. He could hardly imagine himself playing with a sandcastle; he'd prefer to be at work than here. Ladies were watching him as he applied sunscreen, and he allowed them to gawk.
Whoaaa! She never expected to see him in California. When she first spotted him, she thought it was his lookalike, but since she saw Josh with him, she realized it was really him. She was used to seeing him in suits and initially doubted it was him. But to be honest, he looked hot. The night they spent together was fun, but she hadn't had the chance to truly admire his features. It felt like just a one-night stand before he left. He looked like a male model-damn, he was hot! She loved his chest and could already imagine what was below that sharp mermaid line. As she turned to look one last time, their eyes met.
"Shit!" she exclaimed, quickly putting on her sunglasses. But it was too late; he stood up and walked in her direction. "Oh no, he's coming," she whispered. She considered standing up and running but thought, what if he was going to meet someone else? She knew she wasn't the only one staring at him; some women approached him, but he declined them. She couldn't run away like a chicken; she was here to relax, and she would.
She sighed and realized she should have minded her own business, but she couldn't resist looking at the hottie. She could feel him behind her; his shadow said it all.
She turned to face him, and he extended a hand, signaling her to stand up, but she ignored him.
"I'm talking to you."
"Me?" she touched her chest in disbelief.
"Yes, you," he replied.
"Mason, leave me alone. Let me be."
"Bethany, I said get up."
"Fine," she reluctantly stood up without his help.
"What do you want now?"
"A walk."
"I'm sorry, but I'm enjoying the sun."
"You'll still get the sunlight."
"Unfortunately, I can't walk."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I am."
"Should I carry you?"
"Don't you dare!"
He smiled and suddenly broke the gold clasp that held her bikini together.
"What?!" She tried to reattach it, but her curves made it impossible. Mason stood there, grinning.
"I never knew you were such a pervert!"
"Will you follow me, or allow this to become more complicated?"
"Would you follow me or allow the whole beach to see those boobs"
He has seen them once so what's the need
"still taking long to decide then I'll leave and your shade will be gone".he said as he started walking slowly
She dragged him closer and hugged him then she whispered
''i hate you'' he laughed then took off the bikini and threw it on the floor, she wrapped her legs around his waist attracting the vies of other ladies. She could tell that he's happy due to his laughter. Well this is awkward....
He loved the feeling of her soft flesh on his hard chest,he took her inside the car but she still clung to him like a koala and he smiled
"you can let go now there's privacy here"
"you're still here"
"how can I leave, here you can have my shirt ". She collected it with one hand while her other hand was still on his neck
"close your eyes'"
"why". She buried her face in his neck and gave him a hickey
"now will you close your eyes"
"and miss those beautiful tits,no way"
"you caused all of this"
"I did,when?"
"you crashed my fun"
" I gave you an option "
"this isn't work you know everyone is free"
"yes,if only you had simply followed me. We'd have walked together, bought some ice cream, talked like you'd simply say what you've been up to all this while but no you were fierce you wanted it the hard way"
"fine close your eyes so I'll wear this shirt and get out of your car"
"no you're following me home"
"I'm not "she protested
"why, you're afraid of falling into my bed"
'"I'm not a slut"
'I didn't say so,did I?". She bit her lip for a while and he remembered that she did it when he deflowered her,she always looked so cute
"I'm not going to your place."
"it's not an option, you're coming". To
