The men didn't speak to her, and she couldn't see where they were going. She was trapped in the van for what felt like hours, until they finally arrived at a remote cabin in the woods. The men locked Emily and her mother in a dark room, and Emily knew that they were in grave danger. She could hear the men talking about a ransom, and she knew that her family was in trouble. Emily had to find a way to escape and save her family before it was too late. Sure! Here's an ending to the story: Emily knew that she had to act quickly if she wanted to save her mother and escape from the cabin. She remembered that she had a hairpin in her pocket and began to pick the lock on the door. After several tense minutes, the lock clicked open and Emily pushed the door open. She saw her mother tied up in a corner of the room and quickly untied her. They crept through the cabin, avoiding the men who were guarding them, and found a phone in the living room. Emily dialed 911 and whispered into the phone, telling the operator their location and that they needed help. The police arrived within minutes and apprehended the kidnappers. Emily and her mother were taken to the hospital to be checked out, but they were both physically unharmed. Emily was hailed as a hero for her bravery and quick thinking, and her family was grateful to have her back safe and sound. The story ends on a positive note, with Emily and her mother reunited and the kidnappers brought to justice.
