SAMANTHA
Loud noise, loud music, party lights, the smell of liquor, couples making out around, and people fighting. It's just a normal night inside a club.
They were all at the dance stage, at the center having so much fun. And I was just watching them while holding a glass of wine in my hand.
I wasn't having so much fun as I just argued with my father. It's rare for us to argue with that but in my 22 years of existence, it is the very first time that he shouted at me.
What I hate the most is when someone is trying to interfere with my life, mostly my relationship status.
---
"Samantha, you have to do this! Why don't you just agree with it!" My father said while following me.
"Dad, I have already told you! I won't marry anyone! I'm just 2----"
"You're already 22! You're already on legal age! This isn't just for me but also for you! For your future!" He said slowly raising his voice, he was already getting impatient, I can feel his anger.
"Oh come on!" I scoffed and stop from walking as I faced him. "We both know that this isn't for me but for your company's reputation! You want me to get married to your business partner's son for your partnership! Admit it!"
"I'm securing your future Samantha! And would you please don't talk to me like that! Where're your manners?! I'm still your father!" He shouted.
"Yes! You are my father! My father who only cares about his reputation, money fame--" I wasn't able to finish my sentence when he slapped me.
For the very first time, he raised his hands on me.
"Dad!"
"Sam!"
My brothers called, and they immediately rushed toward me. Evan held my chin as he made me face him, he then looked at our father with anger in his eyes.
"What is this about?! Why do you have to hurt her?!" Evan shouted.
Hiro hid me behind him as they both faced dad.
Regrets are now visible in our father's eyes. "Samantha. My princess, I'm sorry I didn't mean that I'm sorry..." He apologized.
"What is this about again dad?" Hiro asked with a calmer voice.
"I just want to discuss with her about---" Dad wasn't able to finish what he was about to say when I walked out away from there.
I can still hear them calling my name but I didn't look back as my eyes were pooling with tears.
---
And I'm now right here sitting inside the club while watching others having fun.
"What are you doing Samantha? Come on! Enjoy with us!" Jenny said.
I know her, she's studying at the same university as mine, we don't talk but we always see each other at the bar just like right now.
"Come on Samantha, don't be a killjoy!" Reymart said. I guess he's Jenny's boyfriend, they're always together.
"My friends aren't here, I can't get too drunk! I have a low alcohol tolerance!" I said loud for them to hear as the music was so loud.
Jenny and Reymart laughed. "Don't worry my dear Samie, we'll take you home. come on!" Jenny said as she walked toward me while holding a glass of wine in her hand. "Let's have fun!" She groaned and pulled me by the wrist.
"Fine, fine," I said chuckling as I stood up and followed her to the dance floor.
I guess this would help me to forget my anger, I know I'll get over it tomorrow or maybe later.
I joined them on the dance floor, I started swaying my body feeling the song and beat as if were a part of me. I don't care anymore if other people are watching me, all I was thinking is to have fun and forget what happened at the house earlier.
I was just dancing until I felt someone's hand on my waist, holding me from the back. I didn't turn around I just smiled and continue dancing. I'm in the club, what do I expect?
"You look sexy dancing like that with these clothes on miss" He whispered in my ear while still behind me.
I chuckled. "Do you find me, attractive mister?" I asked.
"Well, yeah," He said and chuckled huskily.
I leaned closer and leaned on his chest while continuously dancing swaying my body with him. I know this is already the effect of too much liquor that I have drunk but I have already lost control of myself.
There is a part of me that wants to stop and go home already, but there is also a part of me that's wanting me to stay and enjoy the night.
"Are you with someone?" He asked as he leaned closer and put his chin on my shoulder.
"My friends aren't with me, but Jenny said she'll take me home" I answered, we were talking casually as if we had already known each other for a long time.
"Oh," He chucked. "Well I guess you should never trust people like her, I saw her and her boyfriend earlier leaving the bar while kissing, they were probably having real fun already" He let out an airy chuckle, I can feel his warm breath on my skin on my neck.
"That woman" I groaned annoyed. "Do you know what I hate the most?" I asked him.
"Hmm..." He simply hummed while sniffing my neck.
"What I hate the most is those people who don't stick with their words, it's so annoying" I hissed.
"You smell so good, hmm..." He whispered diverting the topic as he continued sniffing on my neck.
I tilted my head as he started pecking on my neck, kissing and licking it. It feels so good and different.
"Hmm..." I moaned when he nipped the skin on my neck.
He squeezed his hold on my waist while continuously kissing, licking, nipping, and sucking my neck. It feels so good that I forgot to even ask who he is.
