What happens to a perfect housewife? After seven years of marriage, I am known as the perfect wife. I love my husband Ron, and I've always thought our marriage was perfect except for the lack of an heir. However, on our seventh anniversary, my husband told me that my little sister, Gina, was pregnant with his child. At this moment, I feel my world collapse! I frantically went to Gina's apartment to ask her why she was trying to break up my marriage, only to see her clutching her stomach as she lay on the floor in pain, and I was arrested as a murderer. "Let me out! I want to see my husband!" In prison, I found out that I was pregnant. I was anxious to tell my husband the news, but Gina's dagger came instead. At the moment of death, I shouted from the bottom of my heart: I am willing to pay any price to revenge. When I opened my eyes again, Ron was urging me to go to the funeral. What's going on? I'm back in my house? I grabbed my phone and looked at the date. It was seven days before our 7th anniversary. Yes, I was reborn, and this time I won't let it happen again. All those who betray me must be punished. But why is there a dangerous man following me?
It is said that every wife expects a surprise from her husband on their wedding anniversary, and so do I.
"No matter what I did wrong, you'll forgive me, right?"
My husband, Ron, sat across the table from me and looked at me gravely.
"Yes?" The lights in the fancy restaurant made me dizzy for a moment. I thought I was hearing things.
"You know how much I want to have a baby. He will be the heir to our company. But we've been trying for so many years and we're always disappointed. I even thought about giving up."
"I'm so sorry!" I put the unopened box back on the table. I felt a bit uneasy that my husband had suddenly brought up the subject. My gut tells me that the following discussion may not be a pleasant one.
I looked down, afraid to meet my husband's eyes, only to catch a glimpse of his thin lips pressed into a line. When I graduated from college at the age of 22, my father married me to him, Ron Moore. I knew it was my destiny to marry a businessman and turn my happiness into a tool of family bondage, but the moment I learned my fiance's name, the 22-year-old me still covered my mouth in surprise.
Ron Moore, the youngest Moore heir. The man all the girls in the merchant's family want to marry.
"Marry him, help him, give him an heir, be a good wife, so that our family can be protected forever," my father whispered in my ear on our wedding day.
I nodded. "I will."
After I got married, I did everything my father asked me to do. I became the Mrs. Moore that everyone admired and imitated. I provide my husband with emotional support and business advice, help him socialize in high society, and deal with secret and tricky issues. I can assure you that, apart from not being pregnant, I am doing better than any other lady in high society.
During those seven years, Ron would occasionally complain that he didn't have children, but he never expressed much dissatisfaction because he needed me in his business and in his life. But today, on our seventh wedding anniversary, he brought it up again.
"Good news, your younger sister Gina is pregnant," Ron said in a cheery tone. "You should be happy for that unborn child."
I was stunned for a second. Gina never told me she had a boyfriend. I always thought my father would choose a business marriage for her, just like mine. I looked at Ron and nodded. Anyway, I should be happy for my sister and her unborn child. That's a good thing.
"That's my baby," Ron said casually, as if saying something unimpressive.
His words struck me like lightning, and my hands trembled. My head was full of loud buzzing sounds which made me only see Ron's moving lips. I felt like I had sunk to the bottom of an icy chill lake, completely unable to hear what he was saying.
It probably took me a few minutes until I shook out of my stupor. I knew that my world was collapsing!
He always said he would be loyal to me, but now he has easily broken the oath we made in front of God!
Why my sister? When did they start?
Why was I never aware of that?
D.amn it!
By the time I got my wits about me, I was madly running out and driving straight to Gina's apartment.
An hour later, I staggered out of the car and knocked on her door with trembling lips. I wish I were sick. I wish I'd realized I was just having a bad dream and I would open my eyes the next second.
Please, let me wake up from this nightmare.
But the reality was still cruel--Gina opened the door with a bathrobe, and her curly red hair was dripping with water.
She seemed to know why I was there. She leaned against the doorjamb and shook her hair deliberately. The water in her hair was flung into my face, and my skin stung as if she had slapped me.
"Why you?" I screamed. "Why do you take everything that belongs to me? Why?"
She didn't answer me. She just looked at me provocatively and then looked behind me.
"Answer me! Why are you doing this? Do you know that this is a real blow to me?"
Gina still hasn't answered. A few seconds later, she suddenly squatted down in pain. Then someone ran up behind me. Gina shouted, "Help! She...She's going to kill me and my baby!"
I saw blood flowing down the curve of her leg on the floor.
"No, not me!"
I was caught by a pair of big hands. "No! Let me go! I'm Mrs. Moore. You can't do this to me!"
But no one replied to me, I was held down like a criminal, and my ears were filled with my heavy, painful breathing.
..........................................
I woke up again. The windowless room told me that I was still in prison. The damp, rancid smell brought me back from my dream. I'm still in this d.amn prison, where the Moore family secretly executed prisoners.
Yes, Gina miscarried. She claimed I was the murderer, but I didn't touch her at all.
But my explanation didn't help. Ron locked me in here!
"What were you shouting about?" The ugly bald guard with the scar on his face opened the door with his key and came in. He raised his whip and threw it directly at me.
"You need to learn how to shut up!"
"I want to see my husband, Ron, and tell him I'm pregnant," I told the guard, enduring the pain of the flogging.
Just a few days ago, I realized that my period had been delayed. So I traded the only valuable watch I had on me for a pregnancy test by bribing another guard, and it turned out I was pregnant!
The guard grinned scornfully. "Are you sure it's not mine?"
He squatted in front of me and stared at my breasts with a perverted look. "I've never enjoyed a boss's wife. Is your wet garden salty, too?"
I spat in the guard's face in disgust. "Shut your mouth," I said, "As Mrs. Moore, I order you to tell Ron I want to see him!"
The guard wiped the spit from his face with his hand, and his lascivious eyes continued to scan my body, "There is no Mrs. Moore here, only the prisoner, and I think Mr. Moore must have known that the female prisoner was being ridden like a horse in prison. Do you think he would believe that the child in your belly is his?"
"How can you help me?" My voice softened. I had to rely on him to see my husband.
"You know what to do!" The guard stood up and began to undo his belt. Then the phone rang. It was his cell phone.
He grunted and strode out of the cell with his trousers up, but he was soon back again. I noticed that his belt was fastened to his waist, and the man's face showed his displeasure at being interrupted.
"Someone will see you in five minutes!"
Charles' breath quickened, and his movements became more urgent. "I'm close," he gasped in my ear, his voice breaking between moans. My own pleasure surged, and I couldn't hold back the scream that tore from my throat. A wave of electric tingles swept through me, my temples throbbed, and the world around me faded into white... Every pore on my body felt wide open, heat radiating from me in waves. It was surreal, as if I were in a dream, feeling everything but grasping none of it... I could hardly believe it-I had married this man, the infamous Alpha of the Black Valley Pack, Charles McLean, and I had just slept with him. But there was no love between us. We weren't fated mates. Since his first shift at eighteen, Charles McLean had never found his fated mate. And after one engagement after another, each of his fiancées had died under mysterious circumstances. Rumor had it that he wore a mask to conceal his hideous face and that he was a cruel, violent man who would kill without hesitation. People whispered that he had murdered his previous fiancées. His last fiancée-my sister-was terrified of him. Horrified by the stories, she had vehemently refused to marry him. And just before the wedding, she found her fated mate. So, without warning or preparation, I was forced to take her place, pushed into marrying Charles in her stead, to stand as his wife in name only and the unacknowledged Luna of the Black Valley Pack...
When I turned 18, my mother married my stepfather, a retired mafia kingpin, and I moved with her into a luxurious mansion. Just when I thought my life was heading toward happiness, my stepbrother, the new mafia boss, stormed into my life. He was like a devil, with delicate eyebrows, a high, sharp nose, and lips that were always tightly pressed together beneath a cold expression. Every time our eyes met, I felt a chill run through me, making it hard to breathe. I tried my best to avoid him, but he had no intention of letting me go. "My stepsister, from the moment I first saw you, I knew I couldn't let you go. You can't escape-you're destined to be mine." I stared into his possessive eyes as his body pressed down on mine. "No, you're my stepbrother, we can't......"
My life completely fell apart when I turned 18. My father's beta killed my family, took control of our pack, and replaced my father as the leader. "Survive, Emilia," were my mother's last words to me as I became his slave. To disgrace my family, the traitors made me serve guests at a banquet and shot at me. Just when I thought I was going to die, a man stood in front of me. He exuded the strongest ALPHA aura and looked at me with dangerous eyes, saying something that made me tremble: "I want this woman." Who was he? Why did he want me? Why were his eyes filled with desire and hatred when he looked at me? "Emilia, you must atone for your father's sins," he said as he tied me to the bed, pinning me down. I felt like this time, I wouldn't be able to escape.

At a party, everyone sees Claire's joke. His fiance, chosen mate, walks past her with the ring and gets down on one knee in front of her stepsister. What the hell is going on here? "Joe and I are together now. Because we are each other's fated mates." Her stepsister said triumphantly. "We know you're hurting, but Cathy is your sister. You should bless them. Your sister will be the next luna, not you." Said her father coldly. In an instant, she changed from a happy girl to a poor person who had been abandoned and betrayed. "How dare you do this to me?" Desperate, she looked up and saw Prince Louis, who was also at the party. Although appealing directly to a member of the royal family would have been punishable, Claire had no choice. "Your Highness, I beg you to do justice and disinherit them. I claim my right." The crowd held their breath as they watched the murderous prince rumored to have killed his brother. He approached me with a dark look. I closed my eyes and waited for my punishment. But I felt big hands around my waist. He buried his head in my neck, took a deep breath, and said in a deep voice. "You are a very smart and brave girl. I can help you, but I want something else in return." I ran into a hug, his scent all around me. I didn't know, until this moment, that I was in even bigger trouble.

My name is Katia, and I am just trying to survive until my fated mate arrives. Which may be easier said than done. Rejectection is the last straw. Whispering my acceptance of his rejection. I run through the pack house, out across the manicured lawn into the forest. "I'm sorry, my sweet girl," I say to my wolf. I'm sorry you have been stuck with me and have had to suffer everything I have. She whispers," it's not your fault, Katia. We came to a cliff with a waterfall. The hurt keeps pounding at me. I need it to stop. My sweet girl, and I just want peace, I keep running and leap off the cliff. Spreading my arms wide, with tears streaming down my face, I fall, not making a sound, waiting for sweet oblivion where we feel nothing ever again. "I love you, my sweet girl! Until we meet again, "My wolf replied just before we hit the water, "I love you too, Katia. I have never regretted a moment with you." The Snow Moon pack is having their last barbecue of the summer next to the waterfall on their land. The adults are laughing and joking while watching the pups play. The alpha, beta, and gamma are swimming with some of the older children and playing a game of Marco Polo. Someone yells, "Oh my goddess, someone just jumped over the waterfall!" Everyone is frozen as they watch what looks to be a child falling arms spread wide, no one makes a sound. The small body hits the water like a plane crashing into the side of a mountain. The alpha, beta, and gamma, spring into action, swimming towards the area the person went under. The alpha is screaming his wolf is going crazy repeating, "Find her. Find her...find her!" They dive and the beta surfaces with a small person in his arms. Alpha takes the girl from his beta, laying her on the ground. The men are shocked by what they see. She is covered in scars and injuries. Her body is twisted and broken. The Beta asks, "Who could have done this to someone so defenseless?" Alpha drops to his knees, repeating, "MATE...MATE...MATE!"
Everyone was shocked to the bones when the news of Rupert Benton's engagement broke out. It was surprising because the lucky girl was said to be a plain Jane, who grew up in the countryside and had nothing to her name. One evening, she showed up at a banquet, stunning everyone present. "Wow, she's so beautiful!" All the men drooled, and the women got so jealous. What they didn't know was that this so-called country girl was actually an heiress to a billion-dollar empire. It wasn't long before her secrets came to light one after the other. The elites couldn't stop talking about her. "Holy smokes! So, her father is the richest man in the world?" "She's also that excellent, but mysterious designer who many people adore! Who would have guessed?" Nonetheless, people thought that Rupert didn't love her. But they were in for another surprise. Rupert released a statement, silencing all the naysayers. "I'm very much in love with my beautiful fiancee. We will be getting married soon." Two questions were on everyone's minds: "Why did she hide her identity? And why was Rupert in love with her all of a sudden?"
Rumors claimed that Fernanda, newly back with her family, was nothing more than a violent country bumpkin. Fernanda just flashed a casual, dismissive grin in response. Another rumor suggested that the usually rational Cristian had lost all sense, madly in love with Fernanda. This frustrated her. She could tolerate gossip about herself, but slander against her beloved crossed the line! Gradually, as Fernanda's multiple identities as a celebrated designer, a savvy gamer, an acclaimed painter, and a successful business magnate came to light, everyone realized they were the ones who had been fooled.
