Chapter one
Ariana POV
I was in the bathroom having my bath, when I heard the sound of my ringing phone from my room. Who the heck would be calling me this early morning? It's too early for this. It took me another ten minutes before I was finally done and walked back into my room. It was weekend today, and I'm just going to hang out with some of my friends and maybe grab a drink with them.
Stepping into the room, I walked over to the bed where my phone was lying and picked it up, I pressed the unlock button and it displayed the person that called me a few minutes ago, it was Chloe, my best and childhood friend. Walking over to the dresser, I sat down comfortably and crossed my legs, scrolling through my phone. I was about to return the call when the phone started ringing again and this time, I picked up the call.
"Finally! Where have you been? I've been calling you a couple of times now..."
"You called just once, stop making it look like you've been calling me and I refused to pick up," I cut her off and I heard her scoff.
"Whatever! I hope you haven't forgotten that we'll be visiting the amusement park and going shopping later?" She asked, and I rolled my eyes. I know better, this is why she called.
"Alright," I said simply and end the call. Arguing with my crazy friend is the last thing on my mind, knowing that I don't want to be frustrated, at least not early this morning that I'm just getting ready to go out.
The sound of a knock on my door pull my attention and I sigh briefly. Of course, I need no one to tell me that it's my maid at the door.
"Good morning, my princess," She speaks up from outside and I sigh knowingly. Wondering why she called me princess? Well, let me briefly introduce myself. My name is Ariana Brown Walker, the only daughter of alpha Walker of the blue moon park. My father is one of the most powerful alphas in the whole of the werewolf kingdom, after the alpha of moonstone park. I have an elder brother, Alex, but he's currently in Germany, handling dad's company. Yeah, dad has many companies in more than three countries respectively. My father is considered the second richest alpha in Europe after alpha Vandette. Talking about alpha Vandette, I've been hearing rumors about his son, he seems to be the talk of the town and every woman wants to be with him. I can't wait to meet him.
"I'll be there soon," I reply to her and I hear footsteps along the hallway, and I conclud that she already left. Walking over to my closet, I throw it open and run my eyes through the beautiful and expensive-looking clothes hanging in there, but damn! I don't know what to wear. I guess this is common with we ladies. Imagine your wardrobe is filled up with clothes and yet still finding it difficult to pick out an outstanding cloth to wear.
After standing confusingly and running my eyes through the clothes, I finally pick out a pink crop top and a pair of pink sweatpants, matching the white sneakers.
Walking over to the mirror, I check myself out and smile warmly at the satisfactory beauty I behold. I think something is missing, I need to wear a face cap. Walking back to the closet, I pick one out of my numerous face caps and wear it over my blonde hair, which are falling freely down my shoulders.
"Perfect," I smile at my reflection and with that, I exit the room and head straight to the dining room, where I assume mom and dad would be by now, having breakfast. Walking elegantly through the veranda, some guards and maids I meet on the way greet me politely and as usual, I smile at them. I finally get to the dining hall and walk inside after the guard at the doorpost open up the door for me.
"Good morning, father, mother," I hug them slightly and went to sit on the remaining empty chair.
"Morning princess, how was your sleep?" That is father.
"It was fine, trust you slept well too?" I ask and he nods while mom just smile at me. I'm already used to her, she doesn't talk whenever she's eating.
"Father, I'll be going out with Chloe for some hours, it has been a while since I last hang out with her," I say to father, and he nods while mom glare at him. I wonder why mom is always like this whenever I want to go out with my friend.
"Just be careful out there," Father said and I nod. We all eat silently and after we're done, I leave the castle and drive straight to Chloe's place. There she is, waiting for me already.
"It seems like I kept someone waiting," I chuckle as she hop in beside me in the car while having a deep frown on her face.
"Yeah, you kept me the hell waiting for you for almost thirty minutes now. Gosh! You're so annoying and I can't stand you," She huf and I roll my eyes.
"At least you still love me like that," I tease her and she roll her eyes. Chloe is one of the amazing people I've met so far. She's soft-minded, fun to be with, loving, and a caring soul. Chloe is the only child of my father's beta, Adolph.
"Whatever!" She roll her eyes while I chuckle and zoom off.
"So, where should we visit first?" I ask, not taking my eyes off the roa.
"Let's go shopping first. I have a lot of things to get at the mall. If we can't go to the amusement park today, there's still tomorrow or another day," She say and I nod, taking the right turn swiftly when I get to the junction. After a few minutes of drive, we finally get to the mall and I park neatly at the garage before heading to the entrance door with Chloe walking beside me.
Stepping into the mall, we started buying clothes and the things we both needed. After a few minutes of shopping, we move the trolley over to the cashier.
"Give me a few minutes to calculate it, please," The cashier say and I nod. The sound of the footsteps and a beautiful scent filled the mall and I am force to look in the direction the footsteps are coming from, but I almost freeze as I behold the most handsome creature, walking gracefully toward where we are standing while pushing the trolley effortlessly with a hand.
"Excuse me, miss. I'm done with shopping, I'll pay with a card," His sweet voice sound through my ears and sooth them peacefully.
"I'm sorry, Sir, but we do not accept payment from cards currently, we only accept cash," The cashier say to him politely and I bet I see his eyes flickers. Oh my God! What a handsome dude.
"How's that possible? You are not expecting me to return this to the places I picked them from, right? What kind of stupid rule is that?" He lament angrily.
"I'm sorry, but..."
"No, it's fine. I'll take care of it," I chip in, earning a glance from him, and that is when I get to see his beautiful eyes, they are blue with a touch of golden color. He's super cute.
"I didn't remember asking you to help me out. Hey, you can return this to the places I picked them from, I'm not in for that nonsense now," He say and starts walking away.
"You didn't have to do that, OK? That was rude and..."
"So what? You should learn to mind your business, young lady," He say and with that, he turn around and exit the mall while I just stand staring in the direction he had gone. What the heck just happened?...
